Spent the night on our way to Fun Valley. Always a great stop. Friendly staff, great little restaurant and convenience store. And the coffee cabin offers great selection of coffee made by the owner himself

We had a great experience and were sad we only got to stay one night! The ladies in the office were amazing, the facility was clean and the recreation options for the kids were above and beyond. Would definitely like to go back!

Enjoyed our 6 nights at the Alamosa Great Sands as it is a great base camp for all the activities in the area. Staff was friendly and helpful in deciding what to do on certain days. Had a low trailer tire when getting ready to leave and staff got tire pumped up even before the office was open. Thank you!

We loved it .. staff was great/ we loved it so much we ended staying an extra day. We felt very at ease. Love the text they sent with the different activities and amenities they have Coffee stations Pizza n other foods cooked there n delivered to your lot. And the Stargazing at night was amazing.

When making our reservation the receptionist was fast and friendly. We were led to our site and the campground was very clean sites were spacious.

Nice park close to Alamosa, but pleasantly out of town. Kept clean, coffee house, breakfast foods, pool is clean. The people were very pleasant and responsive.

The staff are great ! So friendly and fun to talk to. On our way out we saw some of them cleaning a table at a site where someone had checked out. That is going above and beyond in our book. The sites are big and we'll spaced. The new big dog park they are working on will be fantastic when done. The walking trail is good. The proximity to Great Sand Dunes is good. Would definitely stay again .

Super friendly staff. Very accommodating to allow us to move our site further away from the highway. Love that you are constantly upgrading the property. The entire grounds are clean and well-maintained.

We came last year and loved the pool and patio site. This year we brought our family back and also rented the bunk house. What a great place! The house was huge and our son chose to sleep there instead of in our RV. ;) We love this park and will be back again!

Great folks. Everyone was helpful. The site was level and all utilities worked well. We ordered pizza and it was delivered to us! We were there in a motorhome. We will stay again.

Nice campground with lots of amenities. We love the coffee hut and the pizza delivered to our sight! The only negative was the pool was said to be heated. It was not, and it was very cold!!!���

Nice and clean campground with lots of amenities. We stayed for only one night but will definitely return. We were in a motorhome. Electric and water were good. We did not use any of the amenities.

We had a great stay the staff is so nice and our camp site was perfect. We did a buddy site for our family and we had more then enough space for 2 campers and 2 tents. Jo and the staff are so friendly and the pancake �� breakfast was delicious on Sunday father's day. The Dad's got to eat for free!!! We will definitely go back again.

There was a sewer smell and what looked like a sewage pond next to the park. I didn't stay as long because of the smell.

GREAT PLACE for families with all the options they have for activities. It’s also a good place for older couples to stay for a night because it’s a quiet place, even being just off the highway so convenient for going on down the road. GREAT STAFF, so pleasant and helpful. WONDERFUL

(Oct 2026) This KOA is awesome! They are very attentive to campers needs. They keep you informed about important activities or needs. Les and Deb (owners), Jo and Dale (managers) are do an amazing job - constantly working on up-keep, and new additions to engage campers. I love that our Kabin had new windows with pretty curtains (not a fan of mini blinds), a space heater, a mini fridge, and a porch swing! It really felt like coming home! I will return!

It was wet and cold for the one night we were there and it wasn't too muddy or gross. A little playground for the kids, pool if open, and the go karts. Bathrooms clean and nice quality. Hot showers. Overall, no terrible pros or cons. It was only one night we were there.
