Stay was fine. Only issue was low water pressure. New trailer has on demand water heater. Not always enough pressure/ flow to make it work. As newer trailers become equipped with this type of heater it may become a constant issue.

Rating would have been 5/5, however the gravel pad at our campsite was covered in goat heads (Tribulus terrestris). Both ourselves and our dogs were poked by the thorns.

What a great place! We have spent Labor Day weekend here for several years and always enjoy it very much. The hosts are the best! Very welcoming, friendly and bend over backwards to make everyone comfortable. We highly recommend Alamosa KOA

The Alamosa/Great Sand Dunes is a great place to stay. Check-in is fast and efficient. The bathroom facilities are clean and well kept. There is a fun play area for kids, and the swimming pool is clean. If you're hungry and don't feel like cooking dinner, you can order a pizza and they will deliver it to your site! This KOA is located near both Alamosa and the Great Sand Dunes.

Clean. Quiet. Lovely pet area. Friendly staff. Especially Darryl who unhooked my utilities from the mud after it rained! Thanks for the coffee and directions. 17 was beautiful and led right into 285.

Very enjoyable stay. All sites are fairly level and well kept. The maintenance and host staff are excellent! Restroom/laundry/store was clean and well stocked. Good job of keeping guests informed of happenings via text. The town isn't the easiest to get around, but the food and customer service is excellent, especially San Luis Valley Brewery and Nino's! Farmer's market on Saturday is a must.

Location of the campground is perfect. You are only 30 minutes from the Great Sand Dunes and 10 minutes to the town of Alamosa.

They were very accommodating especially since our reservation was accidentally canceled. Extremely nice owners and clean facilities. Also delivered pizza to our site. Would definitely recommend!

Campground is well maintained and clean. Camp hosts and all employees we met were wonderful. There are many activities around Alamosa we did not know about that will require a longer stay next time.

We will definitely be back. Alamosa is a great base camp for doing all sorts of excursions around the area. The KOA is immaculate, and someone is always seen patrolling the area, keeping it clean and safe. Bathrooms & showers are very clean, although water pressure is a little low at times. They have many amenities and are dog friendly. The dog park is kept clean, mowed with plenty of bags.

Thank you so much for the very friendly stay at KOA Alamosa/Great Sand Dunes! The kids had a great time in the pool! Everything was very clean and in good shape. The perfect place to use as a base camp for exploring Great Sand Dunes National Park.

Loved it! Staff is so nice and attentive. Place is so clean! �ϸ not one place inside or out that was not nice and clean. They provide lots of fun activities to do while you stay. We absolutely plan on returning. I would recommend KOA campground for your stay =)

Grounds are receiving a much needed upgrade. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Our sight had a new concrete patio pad, gas grill and extremely nice patio furniture. Site for the RV itself could use more gravel as with most other sites we saw. Biggest downside was the WiFi. Extremely poor WiFi and reason for 4 Stars.

Der Camping wird mit viel Liebe und Arbeit geführt und bietet sehr viele extras gegenüber anderen Campingplätzen. Das einzige was etwas verbessert werden könnte ist die Anzahl der WC und Duschen.

We always have a great time at this KOA! Its location is ideal, they serve breakfast, pizza for dinner, have a great gift shop, and a new coffee shop. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We come here once a year and enjoy our stay every time!
