We were thr only ones in the park this mid-November. So needless to say we had great views and were well looked after. On our way out, we had trouble retracting the jacks and the camp host or owner came over and helped us until our problem was resolved. What a great experience in getting this kind of above and beyond customer service.

We were here in the office season, so it was pretty quiet, but it has everything we expect. The campground has nice trees for this are. Playground and dog park were nice to have. Utilities worked just fine. Shower facilities were clean and warm. Staff was absolutely wonderful. Would highly recommend!

Loved it. Park is wide open and the sites are large. Perfect place to rest or take advantage of the Great Sand Dunes National Park. Really enjoyed it.

Our stay started out great by being escorted to our site by a very welcoming staff member in the golf cart! He explained features of the campground. Garbage pickup was a nice perk! The sunsets and stars were awesome! Our stay ended well with a morning delivery of a breakfast pizza! Thanks for a much needed getaway including Sand Dunes and campfires.

The park is nicely laid out with an interesting walking trail and complete facilities. Great proximity to the national park. Very well managed. Staff was extremely helpful and facilities were well-maintained and very clean. Far enough from the highway so that the traffic noise was minimal. Appreciated the texts that we received about road closures from the flooding.

Our spot was very nice, well kept. Communications through texting was great. Every person working there was very pleasant and are there to help you if needed. The views were great and weather was great. We stayed a week in October. Very centralized to go see things in every direction within an half to hour drive, besides Alamosa town only 2-3 miles. You can have campfires too. I loved it there.

Second time staying here. Nice and quiet. Very clean bathrooms. Nice dog park. Only knock is, if you're going to make pizzas, you need to have them available until about 7PM. I know a lot of RVers are senior citizens but not everyone wants to eat at 5:00.

Nice, quiet park, clean, well maintained. Very easy registration and check in. Like the text notifications regarding weather, possible freeze predictions to let everyone to prepare for it. Over-all nice park! Stayed last October and chose to stay again during our travels. Thanks Craig and Tammy Denhard

Love the easy in and out! Stayed in back of park large pull through little or no highway noise. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

We love the Alamosa/Great sand dunes koa. We have stayed here several times and the staff are always friendly and helpful. They have upgraded several times since our first stay in 2018 and the changes are great. They have a short easy walking trail on the east side of the camping area with great views of the mountains, and there is a star viewing platform. We highly recommend staying here.

We pulled in without a reservation Oct. 4, 25, not a worry, the staff was awesome. Heather checked us in, she is a sweetheart. The staff was friendly & so helpful. The park is clean & well maintained. The camp store was well stocked W/camp needs & souveniers. Our stay was awesome, thanks.

We were met immediately and taken to our site. We didn’t even have to go in. Spotty grass (other than the tent area) with typical desert weeds, so our dogs were selective on their spots. RV sites were plenty big. We had a large shade tree and decent views of the mountains and dunes in the distance. Picnic tables were small and risky if only sitting on one side.

Driving down the road, I randomly stopped and was able to get, not one night, but then add another night, at two awesome sites! I enjoyed both spots, as did my pups. We loved the trail right outside our door, and the dog park. I've already recommended friends stay there; and I'll return. Thank you - everyone there was a pleasure to get to know. Cheers!

We stayed in one the deluxe patio pull through sites. The concrete patio included two lounge type charges, a table with four chairs, a very deep fire pit and a nice gas grill. We loved it. The staff were great. We ordered fire wood and it was delivered within minutes. The camp had a nice playground for kids as well as pedal cars with track provided. We highly recommend this camp.

Nice park with nice views in the back of the park. It was quiet, sites were mostly leveled. My rating is based on that there is was internet, and water pressure was low. Great service & Staff. Price on the high end and spots were spacious. Would stay here again.

Didn’t get out when we arrived Ronnie greeted us and we followed him to site. He was very helpful in telling us all about the dunes, waterfall and city. Park very clean, gravel site but level. They cook pizza and deliver to site. Big rig friendly. Dog park small and needed care. Will stay here again next year. Highly Recommend this park

Der Camping wird mit viel Liebe und Arbeit geführt und bietet sehr viele extras gegenüber anderen Campingplätzen. Das einzige was etwas verbessert werden könnte ist die Anzahl der WC und Duschen.

We always have a great time at this KOA! Its location is ideal, they serve breakfast, pizza for dinner, have a great gift shop, and a new coffee shop. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We come here once a year and enjoy our stay every time!
