We arrived to a very welcoming greeting on the porch. This KOA is close to the Great Sand Dune National Park and we were given instructions as to how to get to the park. We were also tipped off on an excellent restaurant in Alamosa. The campsite was level and the shower was clean and hot. Very pleasant stay.

My husband and I had a great talk with the owner, managers, and employees. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Alamosa was great; we enjoyed touring the town as well as the National Park and Zapata Falls.

It was nice with a beautiful view. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Check in process was easy. We we only.passing through and stayed 1 night. The park and restrooms could use some updating and maintenance but it seemed like they were working on things. Would have loved more green space.

Accommodating, clean, quiet, convenient. After lunch, We called to book a site that we’d arrive at after hours. They left the check in info on the bulletin board & we parked in our spot. Clean bathrooms. Next morning we dumped our tanks and trash, filled up with water & propane and left for the breakfast spot they recommended. 5 stars!

It was more than we expected for sure! The hosts met our every need by bringing items right to our site! The entire site was clean and well laid out. Super job!

Great campground, close to the national park. The manager Jo went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. She even brought some fudge by for the kids and gave a great dinner recommendation! We’ll be back!

It was fine-but we stayed at 3 KOA's prior to this one and this one felt pretty lame in comparison to them-again, it was fine but we didn't get that "wow" factor we usually get when staying at KOA's. Therefore felt it was over priced too-ppl who work there were lovely and the place was clean

Quiet, clean, GREAT laundry room and most spectacular views of Mount Blanca and the Sangre de Cristo range. Within easy launching distance of Great Sand Dunes National Park, Alamosa National Wildlife Refuge, and Blanca Wetlands.

Our families stay was great at the Alamosa KOA. Campground was very well kept and the bathrooms were always clean. Jo and her team were excellent host. We will definitely be back again!

This KOA was clean and spacious. Just the location was the only complaint. it was far out of the way and kinda felt like a big sandy parking lot.

Average rating. Nov18, water was off, no sewage, no restroom and you still charge me approx $60. I appreciate you allowing me to camp over night, but why don’t you have a minimal winter rate with no amenities?

We were there at the end of the season but still had the best time! The campground manager/host was amazing. They got out a peddle car for my kids that had been put away for the season and the kids had a blast. Playground was great. Sand boards/sleds were fairly priced. Make sure to hit up the hooper hot spring- such a great time! We will definitely be back if we’re ever in the area again.

We had a wonderful experience at this charming campground, conveniently located near town and the stunning sand dunes. Even though we visited toward the end of the season, we were warmly welcomed and felt the genuine hospitality. The amenities were excellent, making our stay truly enjoyable!

The office was never open. These were the worst bathroom and showers of any KOA we have ever stayed at. We"ll skip this one next time through.

We pulled in on a day at the end of their season so they were working on a soft close. They were still amazing. We were only 1 of 3 campers that day.

Nice stay between Pagosa and Pueblo. Last stayed here in 1991. Great location. Well managed. Automatic reminders a nice touch. I have stayed in KOA's since 1973 so always nostalgic.

Very nice patio site with Mountain View and site managers were very helpful! Only 30 minutes from the dunes. Hopefully we will return in the future.

This is a really nice KOA - we stayed in mid-October so it was end of season so we couldn't use a the pool, etc. However, it was clean, well-kept and the staff were super nice and helpful. Beautiful views. Our site was level and we had no issues with the power (didn't hook up to water or sewer). The bathrooms were clean but older, the shower heads were low but good pressure and temperature.

The campground was clean and organized. There was a nice dog area. All of the workers we met were nice, and the atmosphere of the campground was calm. It is so close to Great Sand Dunes National Park, which is he reason we were in the area.

This is the second time we have stayed at this KOA as we were passing through. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. An friendly escort takes you to your site and helps you get positioned in your site; then provides some information. They do trash pickup each morning at your site. Close to Great Sand Dunes and Zapata Falls.

I love this koa. Staff is wonderful and very kind. Our 2 boys had a great time pedaling the go carts and the wife and I had a great walk around the property.

The after hours check in process was great! Really appreciated being able to just show up and stay. The only suggestion to make our stay better would be better shower heads and temp controlled bathrooms. Otherwise, it was fantastic.

Der Camping wird mit viel Liebe und Arbeit geführt und bietet sehr viele extras gegenüber anderen Campingplätzen. Das einzige was etwas verbessert werden könnte ist die Anzahl der WC und Duschen.

We always have a great time at this KOA! Its location is ideal, they serve breakfast, pizza for dinner, have a great gift shop, and a new coffee shop. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We come here once a year and enjoy our stay every time!
