This was our first time staying at a KOA and it was outstanding. I typically bring groups of 10- 24 students to the area once or twice a year- we will be back! Jo and the entire staff was outstanding and understanding (of a lost key). It made the whole stay great! Thank you!!

What a wonderful week we had at the Alamosa, CO campground. The fabulous little log cottage was perfect for us. Comfortable and very convenient. It had all the little amenities we needed. The bed was comfortable, the shower had plenty of hot water and the kitchen was just right. What we really loved was the amazing stars at night, a complete bowl of the milky way! Nice walking trail & pizza!

Excellent stay. Very nice hosts. Fresh made pizza so we didn't have to get on our motorcycles and go into town. I would have liked a screen door on the camping hut to cool the room off and mosquitoes.

Very kind staff. We were a little scattered because we were grieving. We lost our dog during our stay, they were very understanding, and were okay with us taking a little more time leaving which we appreciated.

The Deluxe Cabin was awesome! Comfortable queen bed with sheets, blankets and pillows all included. Bathroom with shower, towels, shampoo conditioner and body wash. Great front porch with a nice view of the mountains. Glamping for sure!

We had a small issue with the heater in the Bunkhouse, but the hosts quickly responded and got it working again in no time!

The staff were extremely helpful and respectful! We stayed in the larger cabin, and walking in with bedding and towels were a great surprise. Such a lovely experience!

Although the grounds are not the prettiest we've ever had, the facility extras were terrific. My grandkids loved the pedal cart track. My family stayed the bunk house and were very comfortable and well satisfied with the extra room and were very pleased. We realize that this time of year it's difficult for the staff to be available during normal business hours, that might need to be considered.

We were so grateful to be able to stay in one of the “buddy sites” so we could better share our camping adventure with our family. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating - we will definitely return and recommend to others! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We stayed in one of the cabins in mid-March. The hosts were super friendly and helpful, and even got one of the pedal carts out for the few kids that were staying there (not all of the campground and activities were open yet). The cabin was clean and cozy, the mattresses were comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean too. Great place for a couple of nights!

Enjoyed our stay in the camping cabin. The adirondack furniture instead of a traditional picnic table was a really nice touch. I noticed not all cabins had that feature, so I'm glad we got one. I would suggest adding that furniture to all of the camping cabins. THANK YOU for having minifridges in the cabins!! The staff was helpful, and we enjoyed renting sand sleds to use in the park.

The staff at Alamosa were Great! We had a delicious Hunts Brothers pizza that was delivered right to our cabin. Bathroom and show facilities were clean and well kept. The campground is nestled in a valley with views of the mountains!! Close enough to Alamosa, the Great Sand Dune National Park and Sand Dune Hot Mineral Springs Resort. Very nice.

This was our 2nd stay in Cabin One. Last year we stayed also. It was excellent. I enjoyed the stay and the store. I also liked the tabby cat. We will be back.

I love how management embraces the dark sky ethos, even providing a remote deck for star viewing. Very well-maintained property and facilities. Clean restrooms, pleasant staff. Having fresh, hot meals available on site is a nice touch, too. Super-convenient access to the Dunes and environs, too. I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful KOA. Staff stayed late to make sure we were in our cabin. Probably the cleanest older KOA we have stayed. Staff was amazing, highly recommend staying here, and will again!

The bunk house was great! We appreciated having towels for dish drying and the bathrooms. It was also wonderful to have a full kitchen to cook meals in. The KOA was clean and well kept up. We enjoyed our time at the KOA!

Great…wasn’t pleased with the spraying of mosquitoes. Smell was horrible and the taste in my mouth was even worse. Might want to inform guest you will be spraying upon arrival. Thanks!

My only complaint is the curtains in the cabin were a few inches too short...for privacy reasons and it let just enough light in to hit my face and wake me up. Otherwise, the staff was AMAZING and friendly, the site is clean and well kept, and the Sunday breakfast was great. Best pancakes! Oh, and the pizza was also excellent! I will be back. :)

We loved the amenities they offered! Sand sled rental, pizza, pedal cars, pool, etc. We felt like we didn’t even have to leave the site.

This is our third time staying here. Very clean site. We love that there’s so much to do to entertain us. Love that we can rent sand boards for the sand dunes now. The bathroom across cabin 5 could use ventilation.

I’ll start with the great staff. Upon arrival, I had every accommodation made aware to me, which they have a lot to chose from to make our stay much more enjoyable. Super clean restrooms/showers. Cabins were very comfortable. The atmosphere that I got was like feeling at home. I was able to relax and enjoy my stay.

We stayed in a camping cabin. It was clean and comfortable and had a refrigerator and fan. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was great. The pizza was great. The mosquitoes were plentiful.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The grounds, bathrooms and showers were clean and well kept. They had a good sized gift shop which carried the little camping and personal items you forgot to pack or ran out of during your stay. We all had a good time.

Der Camping wird mit viel Liebe und Arbeit geführt und bietet sehr viele extras gegenüber anderen Campingplätzen. Das einzige was etwas verbessert werden könnte ist die Anzahl der WC und Duschen.

We always have a great time at this KOA! Its location is ideal, they serve breakfast, pizza for dinner, have a great gift shop, and a new coffee shop. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We come here once a year and enjoy our stay every time!
