Stayed two nights so we could go to the Great Sand Dunes NP which is about 30 minutes away. Campground, bathrooms, and laundry were clean. It was good for walking the dogs since gravel was on the park roads. There was also a a walking trail on property. A heated outdoor pool, basket ball area, & cart course were also on property although we did not use these.

It was incredible! Staying here is like the taj mahall of the valley. Lots of trees to offer shade and a nice pool to cool off in. It wasn’t my first stay here and it for sure won’t be my last. I brought a ton of friends and they all loved it too. The dog park is a plus. The camp is clean and tidy. I love it. Prices are perfect too. Don’t forget to get some pizza!

Excellent KOA for our group this last weekend! Very friendly staff,, clean , fun , organized campground! We were greeted immediately by Garth ,, escorted to our lovely spot, and he came by to check on us several times!! Jo was super nice also !!! We highly reccomend Alamosa Campground! lovely and proximity to Sand Dunes was an easy drive !! Thank you !

This place was clean, family frendly and nice camping sites. There were fun things to do within the KOA with your family. I also liked that they had a pancake breakfast on Sunday morning because I did not feel like making breakfast that morning. lol It was a great place to stay and will go again!

This was the best RV park we stayed at during our travels. From the moment we got there, we were escorted to our site. The place was clean and very welcoming. The only negative was that we stayed only 1 night. We also missed the stars due to clouds and a little rain.

This is one of my favorite spots. We were surrounded by mountains, close to the Sand Dunes and La Veta. The staff is friendly, the valley peaceful, and they serve pizza. They also have the best fudge I've ever eaten. The nights can be chilly - great for Smores and tall tales around the firepit. This is a great place to spend a few days.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. Everyone was extremely helpful and responded to my small questions really quickly. My niece and nephews all mentioned how friendly and helpful everyone was. I would highly recommend this campground.

Kinda pinched for time. So very happy to have found spots to choose from on a Saturday afternoon. Very clean and quiet campground. Definite must stop when in the area. Thank you for having us!

From the moment we pulled in we were welcomed and made to feel at home. The sites are clean, gravel, & level. We came in on an afternoon that predicted thunderstorms so our visit to the Sand Dunes was spoiled. However, we were able to extend our stay a couple hours the next morning so we could still go sledding/ boarding at the dunes. The stores has a little of EVERYTHING!

Employees were friendly and helpful. Camp site service is great. Bathrooms were clean. Would like the dog area to be larger and more grass or gravel and less weeds.

Super nice couple runs the campground. They created us outside and escorted us to a nice shady site after I requested a site away from the pool area and playground. We were only there for one night but I would stay again. Well stocked store also.

The Alamosa KOA is our favorite we’ve been to! Quiet and relaxing, even when busy over 4th of July weekend. They have a great walking trail that overlooks a horse pasture and mountains! The absolute best part of the park is the staff. They accommodated us when we wanted to arrive a day early with late notice and they were incredibly kind and helpful when we had to leave early for an emergency.

We enjoyed our stay very much in fact we will be back next weekend with a couple more families. The only downfall was it was hard to connect to your Internet to use our TV in the RV. Other than that we enjoyed ourselves very very much thank you for everything

The KOA was very clean and the staff were very friendly. There is a lot for kids to do. The pool was awesome and my grandson loved the karts. We will definitely visit again!

Great…wasn’t pleased with the spraying of mosquitoes. Smell was horrible and the taste in my mouth was even worse. Might want to inform guest you will be spraying upon arrival. Thanks!

Had an amazing stay at KOA Alamosa! ��� Clean bathrooms ��, heated pool ��, delicious pizza �, and super friendly staff � Just 25 mins from Great Sand Dunes & Zapata Falls ���� Sandboard rentals, games, and beautiful views. Highly recommend for families or anyone traveling through Colorado! �

Great place to stay and we will come again. Park staff is friendly. General store well stocked Laundry room clean. The pet pen site needs an upgrade. There was no top shade screen and the ground had sticker weeds, no artificial turf.

My only complaint is the curtains in the cabin were a few inches too short...for privacy reasons and it let just enough light in to hit my face and wake me up. Otherwise, the staff was AMAZING and friendly, the site is clean and well kept, and the Sunday breakfast was great. Best pancakes! Oh, and the pizza was also excellent! I will be back. :)

3 nights at Alamosa KOA. Fun check in. Staff seems to enjoy being there. Awesome gift shop! Spent over $100 and could of doubled that. Kid friendly activities and a pool. Very relaxing.

Der Camping wird mit viel Liebe und Arbeit geführt und bietet sehr viele extras gegenüber anderen Campingplätzen. Das einzige was etwas verbessert werden könnte ist die Anzahl der WC und Duschen.

We always have a great time at this KOA! Its location is ideal, they serve breakfast, pizza for dinner, have a great gift shop, and a new coffee shop. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We come here once a year and enjoy our stay every time!
