There was a sewer smell and what looked like a sewage pond next to the park. I didn't stay as long because of the smell.

Everything was great as usual. Weather was great. The sun was shining temperature was great the pool was great although my wife requested Margaritas be served at the pool

Have stayed here many times, always a good time, owners and staff are great, always improving the campground. They added a coffee bar which we all enjoyed.

Tha deluxe cabin is brand new and beautiful on the inside. It has the best view of the mountains, however it is right next to the open cistern filled with human waste. The smell will take your breath away. We couldn't sit outside and enjoy the view or have a fire because of the smell. The cost of the DC is not worth the extra money. Stay at the other end of the park. The staff were excellent .

GREAT PLACE for families with all the options they have for activities. It’s also a good place for older couples to stay for a night because it’s a quiet place, even being just off the highway so convenient for going on down the road. GREAT STAFF, so pleasant and helpful. WONDERFUL

Good stay. Cabin was clean and shower house was clean as well. Staff were very helpful and there are good outdoor seats. A few minor issues: I know campers tend to get up early but the curtains are thin and don't even reach the bottom of the window if you want to try to sleep a bit. Stall door in the men's restroom by our site also doesn't latch.

As with all KOA's I have stayed at, Alamosa were able to make a site adjustment. The "field" stay, being very knowledgeable of their place were able to make the adjustment and I appreciate their efforts and support.

The owners/managers are so friendly and nice. Highly recommend going downtown to their fudge/gift/baked potato shop!

People were great! Wouldn't hurt to dig up the weeds in the camper sites before they take over, not just mow them. Everything was clean, bathrooms impressively clean. Wi-Fi was weak. Would really have appreciated a stronger system. If you could get on, it kept dropping off. This campground is great for families with kids.

This was between a hotel and a campground. All the facilities (and there are many) were always clean. They had a coffee bar, provided pizza and a few other hot food options, showers (non-coin which was a first) as well as showing you to your campsite. That is just the portions we used. There is far more thing to do and that they provide. Every worker was helpful and nice.

�Jo & her team were amazing! Jo's guidance gave me total confidence for our Girl Scout family trip. Check-in was great with a personal map tour. The bathrooms/showers were very clean, and our site easily fit 5 tents. Best of all, the location has incredible dark skies and an awesome star-viewing platform. We loved it and will definitely be back!

We had an awesome stay. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They always had a smile on their face. The grounds was very well maintained. The pool was clean. The office, laundry room and gift store was very clean. We have stayed there before and will be back. It’s a great place to stay

We were on our way to the Grand Lake KOA and lost our transmission in our truck. The folks at the Alamosa KOA got us in at the last minute and were very helpful.

OMG I can’t say enough good things about this KOA campground. JO at the front desk was amazing. She is super knowledgeable, and friendly. Heather at the front desk is also super friendly and always willing to talk. Les the owner was very nice and makes a great white chocolate mocha coffee. Garth who does outside stuff and repairs is and was very helpful. Then there is Kaidence super friendly.

It’s a beautiful area. The coffee hut and food was an added bonus. The staff was extremely kind and helpful!! We are thinking about making this a summer must.

(Oct 2026) This KOA is awesome! They are very attentive to campers needs. They keep you informed about important activities or needs. Les and Deb (owners), Jo and Dale (managers) are do an amazing job - constantly working on up-keep, and new additions to engage campers. I love that our Kabin had new windows with pretty curtains (not a fan of mini blinds), a space heater, a mini fridge, and a porch swing! It really felt like coming home! I will return!

It was wet and cold for the one night we were there and it wasn't too muddy or gross. A little playground for the kids, pool if open, and the go karts. Bathrooms clean and nice quality. Hot showers. Overall, no terrible pros or cons. It was only one night we were there.
