Great staff. Very welcoming and friendly. Our pizza was ordered and delivered to our site and it was delicious. Our breakfast burritos were also delivered to our site the morning of our departure and we delivered hot and delicious. We’ll be back. Thanks, Richard

It was nice and quiet even though the highway is close. Spaces were level and shaded by established trees. Customer service is tops with trash pickup at your site and food delivery to your site. The restroom cabin in the middle-ish of the campground was handy v and clean. The large stall on the ladies side needs a new toilet seat. The door to the smaller stall is hard to close and I could not latc

The campground and facilities were exceptionally clean and the amenities, especially the coffee house and breakfast were wonderful. The staff was professional and friendly and the manager was superb, going above and beyond to insure our stay was comfortable and trouble free. I highly recommend this campground.

I had a very nice check in experience. The escort to the site was super helpful. Friendly staff all around. Bonus had a great guy camping next to me from Denver. Night sky announcement was awesome. I went out to witness it. Nothing like that in the Baltimore area. LOL. Thanks for having me,

Lovely campground with equally lovely owners, managers, and staff, this KOA is like going to a family reunion you didn't know you had! From the coffee cabin, to the fudge hut, pizza palace and homemade from scratch BURRITOS...yes! You heard me... ask about "Mammoth", ya gotta go! Nice park, gorgeous view, clean and so friendly!

We have stayed at about 30 KOAs and this one is definitely one of the top. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. I also loved the opportunity to get food on-site. We enjoyed our homemade cinnamon rolls and breakfast bowls and pumpkin lattes out in the sun. Everything was clean and it was also great to be able to rent the sand sleds for the dunes and we appreciated all the staff's tips!

Loved this KOA. The workers I believe her name was Heather and her husband were phenomenal, super friendly and helpful when I asked for things to do in the area. The site was nice and the place was clean. Would definitely return.

Hello to all of you fellow Campers. The KOA in Alamosa is a great place and it is very well cared for. I highly recommend it. It's close to town and close to the Sand Dunes Park. Thanks and please enjoy your stay.

Loved staying here! Everyone was friendly. We had your delicious pizza delivered shortly after arrival! Loved all your special touches… The Coffee Shack, your store. Definitely would come here again if we are in the area!

Great area. People at Alamosa KOA were very friendly and helpful. Showers/restrooms were very clean and well kept. I stayed in a cabin. I've stayed in many of these in my life. They are adequate. Must be my old bones, I find the mattress/pads to be not very comfortable. KOA needs to upgrade! Overall this location was a winner!

Great campground. We have a 45’ Super C and easy in/out and spacious campsite. We were in F1 with full patio. Staff was very friendly, and the campground was very clean

Great campground. People there are so nice. They have a cool coffee shop and make great breakfast and pizza. Sites were large enough for big rigs. We will be back to see the National Park and this is where we will stay.

The staff were very attentive and answered all of our questions. Lee and Deb are great they keep a nice well maintained campground. Myra and Sue are awesome and gave us suggestions on things to do while in the area. We loved our time here and chatting with everyone. Thank you for a memorable experience.

Showers were hot, pizza delivery right to my campsite, very clean campgrounds. I had a very relaxing 2 days.

The staff are really nice and helpful! Really like all the different dog stations, especially the long enclosed run. My kids enjoyed the activities on site.

Great KOA campground. Sue showed us the way to our camp site and was incredibly helpful. She gave us info about places to visit near the campground. All the staff at this campground are awesome. It is well maintained. After camping in hundreds of KOA campgrounds and their competitors, this campground is definitely at the top of all the others. It excels in all categories.

One our favorite Koa stays on our trip!! The stay were very friendly and helpful. Very very Dog friendly. They have a small (still good sized) dog play area and then a giant one! And there was a walking path!! Best part were the homemade cinnamon rolls!! A must if you are staying at this Koa!!

Helpful, friendly, & courteous staff. We stayed in a van with two dogs in site 8 which had a short walk to the restrooms and was close to the medium size dog park. They also had a large new dog park that was also great. Good pizza and good cinnamon rolls. Lots of shade trees.

(Oct 2026) This KOA is awesome! They are very attentive to campers needs. They keep you informed about important activities or needs. Les and Deb (owners), Jo and Dale (managers) are do an amazing job - constantly working on up-keep, and new additions to engage campers. I love that our Kabin had new windows with pretty curtains (not a fan of mini blinds), a space heater, a mini fridge, and a porch swing! It really felt like coming home! I will return!

It was wet and cold for the one night we were there and it wasn't too muddy or gross. A little playground for the kids, pool if open, and the go karts. Bathrooms clean and nice quality. Hot showers. Overall, no terrible pros or cons. It was only one night we were there.
