Very quiet and clean campground. Hosts were friendly and always ready to help with any questions or requests: ie: renting sandboards for the dunes!

The office was never open. These were the worst bathroom and showers of any KOA we have ever stayed at. We"ll skip this one next time through.

We pulled in on a day at the end of their season so they were working on a soft close. They were still amazing. We were only 1 of 3 campers that day.

Nice stay between Pagosa and Pueblo. Last stayed here in 1991. Great location. Well managed. Automatic reminders a nice touch. I have stayed in KOA's since 1973 so always nostalgic.

I was in tent site #1 on October 14th. I have rarely stayed at a KOA due to the cost. I was desperate, and this was a last resort. It will remain that way. Besides the cost, I had people come in next to me at 11 p.m. mountain time. They lit up my tent like a POW camp, took 50 minutes to set up, then talked and laughed loudly while they carried on a phone conversation with someone. Not fun.

Very spacious RV spaces with views of the great dunes. Excellent people managing the KOA.

Very nice patio site with Mountain View and site managers were very helpful! Only 30 minutes from the dunes. Hopefully we will return in the future.

Guess late in the season the store is closed and nobody around. Thee are people but never see them. However the site and place was nice.

This is a really nice KOA - we stayed in mid-October so it was end of season so we couldn't use a the pool, etc. However, it was clean, well-kept and the staff were super nice and helpful. Beautiful views. Our site was level and we had no issues with the power (didn't hook up to water or sewer). The bathrooms were clean but older, the shower heads were low but good pressure and temperature.

The campground was clean and organized. There was a nice dog area. All of the workers we met were nice, and the atmosphere of the campground was calm. It is so close to Great Sand Dunes National Park, which is he reason we were in the area.

This is the second time we have stayed at this KOA as we were passing through. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. An friendly escort takes you to your site and helps you get positioned in your site; then provides some information. They do trash pickup each morning at your site. Close to Great Sand Dunes and Zapata Falls.

I love this koa. Staff is wonderful and very kind. Our 2 boys had a great time pedaling the go carts and the wife and I had a great walk around the property.

The after hours check in process was great! Really appreciated being able to just show up and stay. The only suggestion to make our stay better would be better shower heads and temp controlled bathrooms. Otherwise, it was fantastic.

Did not receive the cabin I reserved. Told them upon check in and were not moved to correct cabin. Sat empty the whole time we were there. The star gazing viewing deck a disappointment as too much light from lights leading to the deck and campground.

The camp spot we were assigned had a patio with no umbrella. The sunny days made it virtually impossible to use it in the evenings. Wish we were able to choose our own spot.

We have been out and about in our RV for about a month (Sept-Oct 2024) and this is the best run, cleanest, friendliest, full service RV Park I have ever seen. I don’t usually write reviews on anything, but had to take a moment to acknowledge this wonderful RV Park. Thanks for a great stay. PS: they rent sand sleds and sand boards here too…no need to go poking around Alamosa!

Tent site. Good grassy area. Arrived after office hours. Packet waiting for me. Clean facilities. Pitched tent in twilight. Went into town for Woody's Q Shack food. Ate back at tent site by Coleman lantern. All good.

Facilities were well maintained. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. They changed our site when a tree was blocking our satellite and were super cooperative when we wanted to stay an extra day. Loved the onsite garbage pickup! The only issue we had was that the water pressure was low enough to interfere with our hot water system. We changed our water supply to dry camp, and it was fine.

Very enjoyable.. staff was beyond accommodating. quiet, clean, well maintained. several extra amenities that a lot of parks dont have. if we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay here

Der Camping wird mit viel Liebe und Arbeit geführt und bietet sehr viele extras gegenüber anderen Campingplätzen. Das einzige was etwas verbessert werden könnte ist die Anzahl der WC und Duschen.

We always have a great time at this KOA! Its location is ideal, they serve breakfast, pizza for dinner, have a great gift shop, and a new coffee shop. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We come here once a year and enjoy our stay every time!
