We stayed in Abilene KOA for one night and we have a small dog that was with us and when I opened the door to take her out their was dog Pooh on the ground and cigarette butts. I clean up after my dog every time she goes and I don’t like having to look where I am stepping when I am trying to walk her. The dog Pooh was everywhere around the camp.

Older KOA with lots of trees. Level gravel pull through site. Close to I-20 but highway noise was not overwhelming. Friendly staff.

The campground was clean and the staff was friendly. Our camper spot (16) was very close to the other folks camper. Right outside our door was the other folks camper hook ups, not bad but not the best to see going in and out of our camper.

Well it was 104 degrees,felt like we were baking in an ovenJuly 6 2022.The pool thank GOD was clean and refreshing. cable was wired wrong, they have a kit -no help, 2 channels, annoying! Very clean, very friendly, the heat,tv and 600 miles we had driven made us irritable. Dog park nice but patrons need to use the pooper scooper and bags,trash can provided! Open spaces but packed upon each other:(

This place is awesome. This is our second time staying here and we enjoy it. It's very clean and the sites are wide enough to fit two vehicles. Easy access on everything which is very good. My kids loves the pool.

We always love staying at KOA Abilene, the staff is always friendly and helpful . The property is very well kept always clean and organized and inviting. Wonderful place to stay when we are in Abilene

we only stayed for a night as we drove through TX. It had nice quiet sites, very clean. lots of trees and grass areas for pets. The girls at the front are very nice and helpful too!

We had a long night listening to noises from the main road and the hotel next door. Nothing could be done about that so I really can't complain. The bathrooms were clean as were the campsites. The biggest plus for me was being greeted the next morning by a kitty who we dubbed "Koa Cat". He helped us pack up our tent! If he was available to adopt we would have been tempted!

Staff was friendly and helped us out. We did have an issue with our sewer, but the office got us fixed up quick! Thanks for the visit. It was a nice stay!

Last minute trip to watch our granddaughter play in a basketball tournament. Everything clean and quiet. Office staff were courteous. We'll be back!

The park is very pleasant and quiet. Spaces we spacious as well. We were passing through for one night but would definitely stay here again.

Nice enough for a night or two, or longer if you don't mind a little highway noise and the occasional sound of a B1B taking off or landing in the distance. The Good: Clean bath/shower rooms with enough pressure and temp for a good hot shower. Nice little playground for the little kids. Nice little dog park for the furry family members. Good sized sites, level and hard pack/paved (we were in a pull thru) and full hookups. Nice laundry room with competitive pricing $3.50 for a wash and dry as of this writing. There's also a little book and "stuff" exchange area in the corner of the laundry room. The staff are friendly and jovial. The Meh: Cell coverage (we have Verizon and ATT with a WeBoost) and wifi coverage is poor to spotty, with the wifi being non-existent further back in campground. Highway noise and the lights from the motel next door are noticeable if you're in the front of the park. If you're planning to stay for a while, ask for a spot in the back of the park. If you need propane, get it prior to arrival as theirs is out of service and has been for at least a couple of months (we stopped here in February and it was out of service then, it's now April)...not sure if they have any plans to bring it back online or not. Overall: The good far outweighs the meh and this is a good stop along I-20 if you need to rest for a spell.

Great campsite! We stayed for one night, everything was ready for us whenever we got there, the bathrooms were extremely clean and heated/air conditioned! The dog park was super clean as well! We choose a pull through site and it was super easy and convenient! Only downfall was the wifi wasn't the best, but we are camping, so.
