Established in 1965 as one of Texas' first KOAs, Abilene KOA Journey has provided travelers and visitors hospitality and rest for over 50 years. Located on the western border of Abilene, Abilene KOA Journey is a convenient drive to all the attractions and amenities the city of Abilene has to offer. Rodeos, concerts and festivals, great local restaurants, and a variety of museums and historical attractions provide ample entertainment and educational opportunities all year long. Alternatively, escape from the hustle and bustle of life and slow down to enjoy some quality family time at the campground. There is nothing like free time to encourage play, to genuinely relax, and make indelible memories together - especially when you can end the day gathered around a campfire. We would love to part of your story!
