Care Camp weekend (May 9) through VKR member appreciation weekend (Sept 13) pool will be open and activities for campers will be posted.
"All Your Mother Cares To Let You Eat" Ice Cream Social
Our Ice cream social on Saturday nights features all the ice cream you can eat and a topping bar that is second to none!
Wagon Rides as Scheduled
Our regularly scheduled wagon rides are a camper favorite for young and old alike. Sit back and relax as we take you on a tour of our park. Marty the wagon ride master gives you special permission to have fun and make noise, as we get other campers into the weekend spirit by playing make the camper wave!
Night Time Movies on the Big Screen
A regular weekend activity we offer is movie night, either under the big top, or as the season progresses and nighttime falls earlier, in the activities meadow. Grab a bag of popcorn and unwind with us!
BINGO OPPA Style!
This isn't your grandmother's Bingo! Here in Port Angeles we have taken bingo to a whole new level. We start with a bunch of prizes, and try to give as many away to winners as possible in 30 minutes. The pace is fast...no, wait, the pace is frantic, and the fun non stop.
Let the artistic side of you shine in our weekend poster contest. Each week we choose a new theme and post it in the activities sheet that you receive at check-in. Turn your completed poster in by Saturday night when the store closes. The winning poster is displayed on the store door Sunday morning, and the winner receives OPPA KOA fun money.
Cable TV Alert
Technology advances and cable is is no exception. One of the projects we needed to begin this year was to start switching from our current analog cable system to a digital version. Because of overlapping equipment requirements we will not have cable service available this season. We have removed the cable icon from the amenities list on our web page this year to be sure that people looking to make reservations are aware of this. The vast majority of you have told us that this is absolutely not an issue; that you are here for the camping, sights, and our activities. We appreciate this and are working hard to get the new system installed, tested and operational for next season!
Campfire Ban Now Lifted
The Clallam County fire marshal has informed us that the campfire ban that was in effect earlier this month has now been lifted, and that wood and charcoal fires inside the fire pits are now allowed at our campground. This notice may change at any time and we can not control the timing so please monitor this news site , or call us at 360-457-5916 for information on the latest status.
