Camping is all about family and having fun! Join us for our themed weekend Events! The events are the themed weekends and provides an over view of what's happening. The Ducky News is our Weekend activity schedule that lists when the activities are happening, what is happening, and where it's happening. Every camper is provided a written copy at check in! Make sure you get yours so you don't miss any of the fun!
Ceramics Program ($) Every Saturday Afternoon from Memorial Day through mid-September!
Ginny will be here to teach ceramics classes most weekends($) from Memorial Day Through Labor Day Weekend! Ginny does charge a modest fee per piece and for materials. Prices vary by piece. There are pieces you can finish in one day!
Check our advance activities schedule at The Ducky News! It will list if there will or will not be ceramics on that given weekend. The Ducky news is published the Monday prior to the weekend on the website and lists the tentative times and places of our weekend activities.
Our swimming pool is 20 X 40. Come cool off in our refreshing clean pool! We have a newly installed solar heating system!
Catch and Release Fishing - no fee, and no license required!
Be a catfish hunter! Snag a large mouth bass - they all await you in our one acre lake, our 2-acre lake, and our other 4-5 small ponds. We have large and small mouth bass, catfish, bluegills, crappies, sunfish, carp, algea eaters, and more! Catch and release, please! No license is required. We pay the fee so you can fish at no charge!

July 11 Under the Sea Weekend!
Come join our under the sea fun! Dont forget your swimsuit and towel! Well have sea worthy activities for sea creatures of all ages, sea horse games (at the pool), a crab walk relay race and sponge toss contest, slip and slide, family BINGO & more! All aboard! The Brookdale Express will be running for all children under 48 tall! Local Amish School Benefit Auction nearby!
July 25 Duct Tape & Cardboard Boat Regatta Weekend!
Were having a duct tape & cardboard boat regatta! Bring enough plain cardboard to build a boat to get a member of your family across Wagon Lake! Well supply the duct tape! August 1 Bubble Gum Weekend!
Were having the DJ Bubble Lady here to provide some bubble fun with a bubble machine (Its good clean fun! Bring your swim suit!), well have a bubblegum bubble blowing contest, after dark bubblegum hunt, and other silly fun! All aboard! The Brookdale Express will be running for all children under 48 tall!
August 8 Annual Sweet Corn Weekend!
Annual Sweet Corn Weekend! We cook locally grown sweet corn just for you! And the sweetest part is... it's free! All you have to do is come camp, join us for the husking party, and eat! You can take left over corn home with you($), if there is any!
August 15 Crazy Fun Weekend!
Shake off that work week and join us for crazy fun for all ages! Join us for mini smores for breakfast free crafts, parachute play for kids, crazy band challenge (giant elastic band) for teens, Kan-Jam (frisbie) Tournament, and more! In the evening, well have family BINGO!
Meadville KOA Campground Wins Top Quality Award
The Meadville KOA Campground has been awarded the 2015 KOA President's and Founder's Awards by Kampgrounds of America Inc., which identifies itself as the world's largest system of family-friendly campgrounds.
The awards were presented Nov. 14 at KOA's Annual International Convention in Charleston, S.C.
The KOA Founders and President's Awards are presented annually to campgrounds that receive high scores in customer service from their campers, and also receive high scores in KOA's annual quality review.
The KOA Founder's Award is given to those KOA campgrounds that attained the very top scores in both customer service and the quality review.
This was Meadville KOA Campgrounds first Founders Award. They have been a Presidents award winning campground since they joined KOA in 2011.
Meet Your Hosts
"We Welcome You to Meadville KOA, Northwestern PA's Family Fun Camping Zone!"Tim & Robyn Chilson purchased Brookdale Family Campground in October of 1999. Tim was an Accountant & Office Manager for a public gas utility and Robyn was an Engineering Technician for a chemical company in the electronics industry. They are members of ARVC, NCA, and PCOA. Tim Served as Regional Vice-President on the PCOA Board of Directors. Both have attended the Graduate Program of ARVC's School of Campground Management. Tim & Robyn Chilson have both earned their initial CPO Certification. In 2011, Brookdale Family Campground was invited to join Kampgrounds of America.
We extend our warmest welcome to you and your family! As campers for over 30 years ourselves, our family has enjoyed many fun-filled weekends and camping vacations. We hope to bring that same camping fun to you.
Our entire staff works very hard to make your stay enjoyable and fun for your whole family.
