Lake fishing in Bald Eagle State Park’s Sawyer Dam, a 14,000 acre lake. Also a great place for boating and water skiing. State Fishing Hatchery provides a self-guided tour of the life cycle of a fish.

Amish and Farmer’s Markets Every Wednesday in Belleville there is a very large Amish market and auction. This is a fun way to interact with the Pennsylvania Amish, and get to taste their foods, view and buy their wonderful crafts. Every Wednesday and Saturday in Bellefonte Historic downtown there is a Farmer’s Market.

Golf The area has four public golf courses including two Penn State Public Golf courses.

Penn’s Cave America’s only all water cavern and wild life sanctuary! This unique cavern was formed by the bed of a shallow sea that existed millions of years ago. An immense spring of unknown origin flows into the cavern and allows you to ride the one-mile tour entirely by motorboat.

Victorian Bellefonte and the Historical Railroad Bellefonte is listed on the National Register of Historical Places and has countless Victorian-style buildings. The Bellefonte Historical Railroad operates from the restored Pennsylvania Railroad Station and charters more than 60 miles of track.

Woodward Cave One of Pennsylvania’s largest limestone caves. It is nicknamed "The Big One." It is also home to the "Tower of Babel," Pennsylvania’s largest Stalagmite.
