Best Camping in the Northeast

The Northeast Region boast some very large metropolitan areas and cities, as well as beautiful nature and scenic features. The nation's capital, Washington, D.C., is located in the Northeast Region.

In New Hampshire, some of the top attractions are the Conway Scenic Railroad, Mount Washington Cog Railway, Story Land Amusement Park, and the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway. Moving over to Boston, there's the Freedom Trail.

A few of the most popular attractions in this region, that you've most likely heard of, are in New York such as the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, and the Empire State Building. Another popular city in this region, Philadelphia, has the Liberty Bell.

As far as more scenic attractions, Vermont is well-know for the fall foliage and New Jersey has the Delaware Water Gap Recreation Area. The Northeast has a ton of great attractions to appeal to multiple interests.

The Northeast Region is known for having some of America's most iconic attractions. There are several state parks, however there is only one national park in the Northeast Region. This park is Acadia National Park, located in Maine. Acadia is known for its stunning fall foliage, but it is also breathing in the winter, when it is often blanketed in white snow.
