Well maintained area and the owners were fantastic. He made several trips a day around the campground to ensure everything was good, check in was smooth and easy. First time at a KOA and resulting in this stay it will not be our last. Very pleased we chose to camp here.

The campground's highlight is the pool. The pool was nice, but dirty with a great deal of visible dirt/sand on the bottom. The picnic table had rotting wood, so we didn't use it. Overall, the campground needs a lot of upkeep. With the cost being almost twice that of a state park, we will stay elsewhere next time we visit the Yankton area.

Thank you for your feedback. We are the new owners and are working on many upgrades. The pool issues were caused by material from the aging liner, which will be replaced next year. We appreciate your input and hope you will return to enjoy the improvements.

Großer Platz mit allem was notwendig ist. Nette Mitarbeiter. Der Platz liegt dicht an einer Hauptstraße, daher etwas laut.

All gravel lots and pads were dusty. After a rain storm some of the sites had water standing under & in front of their doors. Many sites had permanent type campers that made the park look kind of trashy with all there “stuff” around their site. The staff was great and very friendly and helpful. They decorated for July 4th that made the park festive.

Putting more rock down on the camping pads would be my suggestion. I know you can’t control the rain but mitigating the mud would be nice. Overall a nice place!

Our site was flooded after the rain����hard to get things done to leave.Water over top of boots. Laundry was filthy. Didn’t use any facilities. Sites were a mess with RV’ers belongings. Site unlevel. Lots of dust. Would not stay again.

Very nice and friendly managers! Our patio, pull through had plenty of room. Nicely landscaped park with clean pool and good laundry room. Will stay again!

It was ok.. I’m not going to lie I’d heard a lot of good things about this koa and it did not live up to the hipe.a lot of seasonals and some very run down looking campers with very filthy looking sites.. Now I know they are under new ownership so maybe let’s give the new owners another chance once they get their feet wet but we weren’t impressed

Met with the new owners and found them to be truly kind and they are excited for this new adventure in their lives. They have many exciting plans for upgrading the grounds and making it a place you will want to visit more than once. We will be back, I know that.

Very clean campground,bathrooms and showers were very spotless and smelled very clean, swimming pool was very refreshing and clean,nice and quiet,we enjoyed our stay very much,staff was very friendly and welcoming,would highly recommend,been coming to this campground for years! And will continue to come to this campground for sure!

I hope the new owners make the changes he talked about. We are full timers but we don’t live in a campground like a lot of the people there do. Trashy sites with all of their junk just laying everywhere. The amount of people the don’t follow the basic rules like driving the wrong way is terrible. Our site was nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. I wish the new owners good luck.

We camped with our grandchildren and they really enjoyed their stay at the KOA campground. The big hit was the jumping pad, swimming pool, playground, basketball hoops and sand volleyball. The campground is kid and dog friendly. Thank you! We had a great time!

We learned that the owner had recently taken over this campground and my review is based on this information. As with most KOAs now, there are a lot of permanent campers there. Our site was fine - concrete patio. It had been raining so dirt roads had standing water. No grass to speak - mostly weeds. We think the new owners will be making improvements. Would stay again if we were in area.

The roads are all gravel and it rained most of our stay, There are mud holes all over. They need to bring in more gravel and build it up. To be fair the host told us they had just taken over the campground two days ago and they knew they had a lot of work to do. I will try again.

Awesome campground! If you're looking for a spot in Yankton, give the KOA a try. The park is clean, the pool is awesome, the playground and jumping pillow were fun for the kids, and they also have a tractor train ride. The store inside is well stocked with supplies and they'll bring you ice or fire wood to your site. Very clean park and the new owners are nice and helpful. 5 stars! Thank you for the hospitality! We'll be back!

This campground is top notch, AMAZING!!! So many things to do. Everything is clean and kept up. Amazing pressure in the awesome showers. The pool was warm and clean. Camping spots are nice and spacious. The full hookups are wonderful. SUPER AMAZING PEOPLE that run it!! Cannot even explain how amazing this place was. We will definitely be back!!
