Camping with 2year old grandson so being close to playground was great. It was hot couple days so did not use fire pit. Nice clean camp area.

Very accommodating with our very late check in. Highlighted the best route to our spot. Great spacing between the sites. Clean dog park. Park looked very nice and lots of kids having fun. Only recommendation would be to trim some of the trees that overhang the road ways. Did have to drive around several low areas to avoid contact with our RV.

Noisy, dirty, gavel roads with a trail of dust, no one to lead us to our campsite! Very unhelpful person at the desk. Asked for a restaurant in walking distance, not a chance! Never again!!! We have stayed at a lot of KOA's and never had a experience like this. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!

This was really a nice place. The young man that helped us over the weekend was such a nice person. Family owned and working hard to make it better if that is even possible. We even received fresh tomatoes from one of the other campers/ Seasonal. We did not use any of the facilities but the pool looked really nice. This was a very nice koa.

We did a planned one/night stay while heading west. The resident staff couple checked us in & were very helpful in explaining available options. The pull-through lot was gravel, & very level. The only negates was a number of year-round lots where grass had grown high all around the trailers making the park look trashy, but based on that the price paid was reasonable.

Great place to visit. We were only there for one night, but the sites are clean, easy access, and very friendly owners!! Please support these folks. It’s nice to see a young couple taking on the responsibility of this type and looking to grow as a business. Thanks!!

We stay there every year for Yankton River Boat Days because it’s a clean and friendly place. Staff is awesome. Price is good.��

When we checked in there was a man and a lady in the office. Both were very friendly. They also told us of a town celebration that was happening that we didn’t know about so that was a nice extra.

We like this KOA, however we had 2 days reserved prior to the weekend. Asked if we could add one more day which was Monday. Got charged almost twice the amount. Being a member that shouldn’t have happened!!

The people staffed were great and the shower/bathroom facilities were clean. 2 star because the pool was in horrible condition.

Check in was easy, Lori was very friendly, clean and well kept. My only suggestion is, some of the trees in the back in area need a little trimming.

Too many permanent residents with unkempt sites/sloppy. Original site had dog poop in bags and trash on the site and in firepit. Changed site because bees nests under patio and wasn't cleaned after last person. We left after one night, wasn't able to get a refund for the second night.

Visiting Yankton it was good to camp on the outskirts of town. We had access to all areas of the community. The campground provided nearly everything we needed. The cable hookup was a little too involved for us. We used the camper antenna for TV usage. The instructions for the cable hookup weren't easy to follow. We enjoyed Yankton area. Thanks.

We love this KOA, and now it has new ownership, bringing in upgrades, great additions to the camp store, great new staff, and a bright, ambitious outlook. We can’t wait to come back next year. It was very clean and the staff was very helpful. However they had stray cats on the property that were crawling up the steps of the camper. It made me very uncomfortable with a child with us.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear the cat made you uncomfortable. It actually belongs to a nearby neighbor and occasionally visits the campground. It is very friendly and safe, but we understand your concern and will monitor the situation more closely.

The facilities were great. But the night we were there it rained. Our campsite was #2 and we had a lake outside of our door. It was a mess trying to hook up and load our side by side. Other than that it was good.

Too many full time live ins with messy sites. Police cruiser driving through makes us feel the place may not always be secure. Kids looked like they were enjoying the pool. K9 park long way from sites.

We are sorry for your experience and are working on cleaning up the campground over the winter months. Since we are inside city limits, our park is included in normal police community routes, but we understand your concern and will keep it in mind.

Not family focused as most KOAs, disapp. for our children. More long term tenants, & more than a few not maintaining their spaces (run down). Sewer odors seemed worse. Maybe due to Journey designation, but most KOAs periodically comm. w/ tenants asa courtesy w/ blasttexts (e.g.highwinds).During tornado warning,as we took shelter in laundryroom, brief check in text would have gone a long way.

Awesome campground! If you're looking for a spot in Yankton, give the KOA a try. The park is clean, the pool is awesome, the playground and jumping pillow were fun for the kids, and they also have a tractor train ride. The store inside is well stocked with supplies and they'll bring you ice or fire wood to your site. Very clean park and the new owners are nice and helpful. 5 stars! Thank you for the hospitality! We'll be back!

This campground is top notch, AMAZING!!! So many things to do. Everything is clean and kept up. Amazing pressure in the awesome showers. The pool was warm and clean. Camping spots are nice and spacious. The full hookups are wonderful. SUPER AMAZING PEOPLE that run it!! Cannot even explain how amazing this place was. We will definitely be back!!
