Well maintained, clean bathrooms/showers, beautiful sites (we were in a back in full hook up site / yellow sites on the map), dog friendly with perfect dog park for off leash playing and running, would recommend to family & friends.. lots to do in the area!!

First off, Cody was awesome in getting us in as we were passing through the state. The campground is clean, has all the amenities, and probably the most level sites we’ve been set up on. We stayed only one night, so didn’t use all the amenities, but would definitely go back.

The owners were very friendly and inviting. The store and bathrooms were clean and the property was well kept. The store was well stocked and had decent pricing. My grandkids loved the amenities, especially the pool, jumping pillow, and “train” ride! I enjoyed easy access to a pull through, patio, full hook up site.

This is one the best KOA’s our family has stayed at. The pool was great. The campground was clean and updated. The owners are absolutely the best! They definitely made the stay pleasurable and constantly asked how our stay was going. We will be returning soon!

This was one of the best KOA's we have ever stayed at. The owners were so personable and so helpful to us. The place was spotless...from the grounds, pool, bathrooms/showers. We were very impressed and we would definitely stay here again. CUDOS to the new owners!!!! TJH

This campground is beautiful!! The lawn was mowed and everything was trimmed up. There are so many things to do. The shower house/bathroom was always clean. The pool was heated and clean. The store front is wonderful with all the options. The managers of this KOA are absolutely amazing. The time and effort they put into this place is amazing!! I cannot say enough good things!! WE WILL BE BACK!!

The stay was great and the employees were amazing that helped us while we were there. Rest rooms & Showers were clean so happy about that. Campground was clean and our lot was nice with a Patio. I did buy the rain insurance and it rained all Saturday night so I was curious if that would credit anything back for Saturday.

It’s obvious that the new owners really care and are trying hard to earn a good reputation and undue the reputation damage caused by previous owner neglact. The campground is lovely, very clean, owners very present working on the grounds, helping campers, etc. Roads are now excellent, beautiful clean pool, playground equipment A+. Particularly beautiful in the fall because of all the red maples!

This was the nicest and cleanest KOA. The roads were wide and they had great level campsites! They had everything you needed at the camp store and their facilities were so clean. Friendly and very helpful staff!!

It was clean and the sign said under new ownership. They still have a way to go to get to what I consider the KOA standard, but I believe they will get there.

Management was super helpful and attentive to needs. Facilities were well kept and clean. Beautiful trees on many sites. Camping site hookups worked well. Many parks and walking paths nearby. We are going back!!

We are so pleased with our site, the friendly people and the high quality, accessible wifi. We were in Yankton to visit our friends and staying at this KOA made the entire visit so much easier. I know this sounds simplistic, but it is the ease and quality of these full-hookup requirements that make a stay trouble-free so a person can concentrate on the social aspects.

We stayed for 4 days/3nights and had a great time. Pool has been renovated and water was clean and warm. Kids played almost all day in pool which gave us some relaxing time ! Nights are quiet and we enjoyed sitting around the campfire and if you look up you can see the stars which you don't see in the city. Staff/owners are very nice and so were our neighbors. Its just a nice time here to relax

We stayed at this KOA for 4 days! It is a nice, clean and quiet RV park. The pool was amazing, restrooms and laundry very nice! It is under new management and they were very accommodating and nice! Will definitely stay there again and we highly recommend!

Great improvement in the park over our last visit in 2025. The park has been cleaned up and new patios have been added. It was nice arriving and being meet by the owners of the park. We can tell the new owners value their customers and strive to make this park as nice as possible.

It is a nice and family friendly campground. Plenty to do with a play ground, basketball court, jumping pad, heated swimming pool, a covered gathering area with grill and a dog park. There are plenty of trees to give shade and windbreak. The bathrooms and showers are nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay here and have been here multiple times. Thank you.

Nice, clean campground. Friendly, helpful host. Campsites are not too close to each other. Beautiful new pool. Right on the edge of Yankton, so we could easily ride our tandem bicycle into and all around town. Highly recommend

The owners were still getting ready for the season but they allowed us to stay with them. It is a beautiful RV Park with lots of trees and room. Very quiet and peaceful. We will be back.

1st time camping in Yankton and I was greeted by the owners who were very friendly. From there I made camp and found it to be peaceful and my daughter loved the playground! Campsites were spacious and clean. Best part was how quiet it was at night. We will definitely come back. Thank you!

We were about to give up on the Yankton KOA because it had turned into a low rent trailer park. Now with young new owners who will be living on site the place is cleaned up and the junk trailers moved out. We will look forward to staying here now.

Pay no attention to older reviews- it's all been cleaned up and done right! The campground is lovely, very clean, owners very present working on the grounds, helping campers, etc. Roads were completely redone and are now excellent, beautiful clean pool, playground equipment A+.
