The park seemed to be around 70% or more permanent sites, we came in with a tent trailer and was parked in a riw of oermanent oeople old broke diwn cars the bad part is there wer many other back in sites in nice areas they could have placed us felt like we spent the night in an old trailer park sucked.

Total dust bowl and many permanent parties drive thru at 20-25 mph which makes the dust unbearable. Could be a beautiful park if it had paved roads at least.

It was a very nice RV park, we generally pull our RV to KOA's but since it was short notice the Cabins were nice to stay in as well

The administration was very pleasant. There are some what appears to be long term residents that open their RV doors & let their large pets run freely which is against written policies. Also the KOA was FULL of gnats. We couldn’t cook outside bc they swarmed our food! We will request a site with a patio next time as not all sites are as nice as others. It’s the only full hookup site in Yankton

Very friendly staff. Both of the water hoses would leak hooking up to the water supply so we called the office and they sent maintenance to us to add a piece to the spicket and that worked! There was plenty of room to walk the dog. It was easy to get in and out of. For a Journey it had a lot of nice features.

Very nice place to stay. Very clean and quite. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this KOA Campground to everyone.This was our 2nd time staying there since we bought our motorhome. We definitely plan on staying there many more times in the future. We rate this KOA with a 10 +++++++star review. All staff that works ther takes great pride in taking care of this place.

I was extremely pleased to see clean and stocked restrooms and shower facilities with many perks not offered at most other places (paper towels, bench in shower units, multiple towel/clothing hooks, no shortage of hot water, faucets that aren’t motion activated). I will definitely stay here each time I am traveling through this area!

Patricia and Brian made us feel very welcome and were very helpful. Jane and Maria were so friendly. Facilities very clean. Grounds well kept up.

It was wonderful except they close the pool too early in the season. Warm weather stays thru September, so wish it stayed open longer!

Clean large sites. This is a busy KOA but no problems with dogs or noise. Bathrooms and laundry clean and well maintained. Dusty roads but other than that I would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay for 6 days. Yankton/Missouri River KOA is a beautiful campground and we plan to stay again in the future.

We have been going to this campground for many years now,Don and his staff have always been very kind and curious to me , my husband and family over the years, would highly recommend this Kia campground as it is very clean and very well kept,Don has everything a camper would need,from groceries to wood and laundromat,great campground!

time needs to be taken to clean out shower heads and clean under shower mats. Also for the long termers, the campsites were filthy and grass needed tended to. We stayed at three different KOAS on this trip and there was not the hospitality as in the past. What has happened to having camp hosts?

We had a great weekend at the camp grounds! The staff is always very friendly. The grounds are clean and fun for my kiddo! The only issue we had this stay was vehicles driving past the lodges pretty fast. But not much can be controlled about that.

Sites are well cared for and roomy. Staff was super friendly. The dog run was small. The pool was clean but small for the size of the campground.

We are 2 days into our 4 day stay. LOVE IT. Owners are very nice and very involved. This is exactly what I need from a KOA and more. SUPER CLEAN BATHROOMS AND SHOWERS!!! We were towing a trailer behind our RV and they let me park it in their over flow area. We don't have kiddos with us but the playground is really nice, pool is very clean. We have a good sized rig and no issues getting off the highway and plenty of room to get in and out of sites. Thanks so much for having us!!

This was our second visit to the campground. The ownership has changed since our visit in May of 25. Great improvements have been made. The entire park has been cleaned up. During the check-in the owner meet us and welcomed us back. The new owners have taking great pride in their new business. After talking with the new owners they have some great plans to improve the park. This is a KOA we will return too.
