A clean, quiet campground that offers a range of activities to engage in. Our site accommodated 45ft motorhome & trailer. while its away from the highway it is easy access and quick to reach amenities.

The park is run down. Many long term campers with a lot of junk and in disrepair. I only stopped for one night and did not unhook. If I ever come this way again I would not stop here.

No one in office to check us in. No e-mail telling us an”envelope’ with my name and site number on it was in pamphlet holder . Extremely rough/dusty roads. Way too many old trailers with junky yards. Amazingly, the restrooms were great.

The park was pretty much filled with campers for extended stays. A lot of clutter through out the camp sites with individual’s items. Grass was not cut. Hours of office was 8am-10am. Felt like we were staying in a run down trailer park.

Didn’t seem like park was very well kept, long term campsites had a lot of clutter and junk.

Eric in the office was extremely helpful. It took several visits to the South Dakota license bureau to renew our licenses, and he helped us with all the paperwork.

This is a regular stop for us when traveling to and from Iowa. Modern clean restrooms and showers. Quiet location. Only criticism is that the roads are gravel and aren't graded as well as they used to be. There's several large potholes.

There was no wash cloth for dishes. We had to call for toilet paper. There was no bags in the trash bin, we bought some. Usually this is not an issue.

We stay here every fall and spring on our way to and from AZ. Always have a nice site, staff is helpful and friendly.

It was very pleasant. The caretakers were very helpful. The playground for the kids kept them busy plus they met new friends. The only issue that I saw was the showers were not as clean as they could've been.

It was horrible. The so called staff is ridiculously rude and inconsiderate. Majority of the time we were there the restrooms were disgustingly dirty or something was broken. The sewer was so full it backed up into our camper as well as others. And its ridiculous that people were and are being favored for rent. Will never stay there again as long as staff stays that way.

Campground is dated looking, standing water after a light rain and roads that are in disrepair. Too many older RV’s and permanent older campers not in good shape. Won’t stay here again in the future.

We love this KOA! Yankton is a nice place to slow down and relax in during the summer. The KOA is adjacent to the archery center there, so if you love archery, the KOA is a fabulous place to stay. Friendly staff, nice amenities, lovely setting.

We enjoyed our stay and the walking trails in town. The campground itself was clean . Bathrooms, showers and laundry facilities were good. The lighting on the outside of the building was very poor and lighting to get there on the streets was non exisistant. Otherwise it was all good.

This is a "go to" place for us. Quiet, clean shower house. Reasonable rates. In general, a very agreeable place to spend a night.

CAMPGROUND HOST WAS VERY FRIENDLY, KNOWLEGABLE AND COOPERATIVE. THE CAMPGROUND WAS A MEGA OF HOMELESS FAMILIES. TRASH, COLLECTIONS, UNSIGHTLY ITEMS SCATTERED ALL AROUND SITES. EVEN MORE SO WITH WINTER COMING SOON, CAMPERS WERE PREPING FOR THE COLD AND ALL OF THE UTILITIES WERE WRAPPED AND COVERED IN A POOR MANNER. ONLY ONE OTHER SITE APPEARED LIKE OURSELVES AS OVERNIGHT GUESTS; MORE "LIVING".

Lots of full time residents. Junk piled up around campers. Lots of overnight traffic. If we had kids with us, we probably would have left.

We are 2 days into our 4 day stay. LOVE IT. Owners are very nice and very involved. This is exactly what I need from a KOA and more. SUPER CLEAN BATHROOMS AND SHOWERS!!! We were towing a trailer behind our RV and they let me park it in their over flow area. We don't have kiddos with us but the playground is really nice, pool is very clean. We have a good sized rig and no issues getting off the highway and plenty of room to get in and out of sites. Thanks so much for having us!!

This was our second visit to the campground. The ownership has changed since our visit in May of 25. Great improvements have been made. The entire park has been cleaned up. During the check-in the owner meet us and welcomed us back. The new owners have taking great pride in their new business. After talking with the new owners they have some great plans to improve the park. This is a KOA we will return too.

Very nice place. Clean and enjoyed seeing the kids having so much fun on the balloon pad.
