We understand that this KOA is under new management; so, we are mentioning these issues with the intent to help. We were put in one of the farthest sites in a relatively empty park - would have been nice to have been offered the opportunity to be closer to the facilities. the electricity at our site didn't work, we were told to move to the next site over, but it had trash around it.

Thanks for your feedback. We're sorry about the electrical issue and glad we could move you. Front sites are typically reserved for one-night stays for easy arrival and departure. You reserved a standard site, and we’d be happy to help upgrade you to a site closer to the amenities on a future visit.

Very welcoming, easy to access sites, and exiting the park was a breeze. We only spent a night, but it was great!

Everything about our stay was awesome! The lodge we stayed in was clean and well taken care of; the pool was also well maintained; the staff was friendly and very personable. They were always kind and attentive to our needs. We will definitely visit again next year.

I only thing I had a problem with is alcohol in the pool area. I don’t think people should be drinking in the pool with children being around and getting mad when the kids would jump in and splash into their drink. Not acceptable in my eyes. If you’re gonna drink don’t do it in the pool. Other than that our stay was awesome. Mahalo Elsie

All staff we talked to were very nice and helpful. The campground, bathrooms etc. was very clean. Loved the row of blue spruce trees, beautiful and smelled so good. We stayed during the week and it was very quiet and peaceful. Only thing is the wifi didn't seem strong enough for the smaller crowd that was there in middle of week. We would stay here again.

We stayed for a total of 8 days and it was wonderful. The staff was super nice and the facilities were very well kept. We did have a ton of ants on our site but it was fine we made due and still had a wonderful trip.

Just a quick overnight stay, but very easy to get a campsite we arrived late. Nice clean showers and bathrooms. Very quiet area when we stayed.

We arrived late and left early. We did not use any of the facilities. The office personnel was very nice, however the park was just OK. Nothing to set it apart.

Wonderful campground. Clean, decorated for the holiday, cute kids parade on July 4th! Just wish there was a paved option to connect to city sidewalk/trail system. Owners were awesome - very polite and professional. We’ll be back!

Well maintained, clean bathrooms/showers, beautiful sites (we were in a back in full hook up site / yellow sites on the map), dog friendly with perfect dog park for off leash playing and running, would recommend to family & friends.. lots to do in the area!!

First off, Cody was awesome in getting us in as we were passing through the state. The campground is clean, has all the amenities, and probably the most level sites we’ve been set up on. We stayed only one night, so didn’t use all the amenities, but would definitely go back.

The owners were very friendly and inviting. The store and bathrooms were clean and the property was well kept. The store was well stocked and had decent pricing. My grandkids loved the amenities, especially the pool, jumping pillow, and “train” ride! I enjoyed easy access to a pull through, patio, full hook up site.

When traveling with our travel trailer, we often choose a KOA. The Yankton, Missouri river KOA ranks up with some of the best Rv parks We have visited. Clean well kept grounds And exceptionally courteous staff made our stay very enjoyable. I recommend this KOA.

Five PLUS stars for this place. It is under new management, so do not let the previous reviews dissuade you from staying. The new owners are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The grounds are tidy and the camp store is plentiful with stuff you need and kitsch you don't (I'm a sucker for kitsch). They have a significant free library. Prices are very fair. The bathrooms are immaculately cleaned. Lots of things for kiddos to do. Very close to town for a bite to eat or restocking. I can tell that the new owners are working extremely hard to make this place great. I never had any glitches with AC power, WiFi or cell service (ATT).

Great place to camp. Clean pool and restrooms. The kids really enjoyed the playground area and jumping pillow.
