Very quiet location. Enjoyed the pool. Needed cleaning.

We’re so sorry! We’re the new owners, and the pool is in serious need of a new liner. We chose to keep it open this season rather than close it for part of the summer. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope you’ll come back next year to enjoy the updated pool!

Check in was easy, Lori was very friendly, clean and well kept. My only suggestion is, some of the trees in the back in area need a little trimming.

Too many permanent residents with unkempt sites/sloppy. Original site had dog poop in bags and trash on the site and in firepit. Changed site because bees nests under patio and wasn't cleaned after last person. We left after one night, wasn't able to get a refund for the second night.

Visiting Yankton it was good to camp on the outskirts of town. We had access to all areas of the community. The campground provided nearly everything we needed. The cable hookup was a little too involved for us. We used the camper antenna for TV usage. The instructions for the cable hookup weren't easy to follow. We enjoyed Yankton area. Thanks.

Cutest little cabin ever. So fun to sit on porch swing and watch kids bouncing on whatever that inflated thing was. Thank you so much for the very personalized service and good advice.

Overall things were very accommodating for us. The pool was in need of skimming for bugs. Things very quiet and people were helpful.

Enjoyed our stay in the deluxe cabin. Only complaint was the cabin was very hot when we arrived at 8:30 pm. It was a heat advisory day. Took a long time for it to cool down. Wish the a/c had been turned on prior to our arrival.

We love this KOA, and now it has new ownership, bringing in upgrades, great additions to the camp store, great new staff, and a bright, ambitious outlook. We can’t wait to come back next year. It was very clean and the staff was very helpful. However they had stray cats on the property that were crawling up the steps of the camper. It made me very uncomfortable with a child with us.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear the cat made you uncomfortable. It actually belongs to a nearby neighbor and occasionally visits the campground. It is very friendly and safe, but we understand your concern and will monitor the situation more closely.

The facilities were great. But the night we were there it rained. Our campsite was #2 and we had a lake outside of our door. It was a mess trying to hook up and load our side by side. Other than that it was good.

Stayed one night in drive through site #33. Wonderful grassy area to look out on. Pool was the largest I've seen at a KOA. Staff was super friendly!

Too many full time live ins with messy sites. Police cruiser driving through makes us feel the place may not always be secure. Kids looked like they were enjoying the pool. K9 park long way from sites.

We are sorry for your experience and are working on cleaning up the campground over the winter months. Since we are inside city limits, our park is included in normal police community routes, but we understand your concern and will keep it in mind.

Not family focused as most KOAs, disapp. for our children. More long term tenants, & more than a few not maintaining their spaces (run down). Sewer odors seemed worse. Maybe due to Journey designation, but most KOAs periodically comm. w/ tenants asa courtesy w/ blasttexts (e.g.highwinds).During tornado warning,as we took shelter in laundryroom, brief check in text would have gone a long way.

Well maintained area and the owners were fantastic. He made several trips a day around the campground to ensure everything was good, check in was smooth and easy. First time at a KOA and resulting in this stay it will not be our last. Very pleased we chose to camp here.

The campground's highlight is the pool. The pool was nice, but dirty with a great deal of visible dirt/sand on the bottom. The picnic table had rotting wood, so we didn't use it. Overall, the campground needs a lot of upkeep. With the cost being almost twice that of a state park, we will stay elsewhere next time we visit the Yankton area.

Thank you for your feedback. We are the new owners and are working on many upgrades. The pool issues were caused by material from the aging liner, which will be replaced next year. We appreciate your input and hope you will return to enjoy the improvements.

We are 2 days into our 4 day stay. LOVE IT. Owners are very nice and very involved. This is exactly what I need from a KOA and more. SUPER CLEAN BATHROOMS AND SHOWERS!!! We were towing a trailer behind our RV and they let me park it in their over flow area. We don't have kiddos with us but the playground is really nice, pool is very clean. We have a good sized rig and no issues getting off the highway and plenty of room to get in and out of sites. Thanks so much for having us!!

This was our second visit to the campground. The ownership has changed since our visit in May of 25. Great improvements have been made. The entire park has been cleaned up. During the check-in the owner meet us and welcomed us back. The new owners have taking great pride in their new business. After talking with the new owners they have some great plans to improve the park. This is a KOA we will return too.
