Plumbing needs to be updated. Lots of times the toilets were clogged or not flushing well. The main driveway around the camp is just dirt. Would be nice to have it paved for easier biking for little kids and less dust flying around. Nice koa workers and in a great location. Nice pool area.

Only reason I gave an 4 and not a 5 is because of the internet. It was an issue for us with kids. Every time we've camped there in the last year it has been horrible and I assumed that is was because of so many people. However, now that we have stayed at many other places that have started offering wifi with no issues, we realize maybe it's time to update modems & routers. We Love KOA Yankton

This is the only KOA I've stayed at. Driven through a few others in the area, but none of those measure up. The pool there is amazing and clean. The kids live the jumping pillow and park.

This is one of our favorite KOAs. (We luv KOAs in general!) Great location for archers, super-helpful staff. Clean facilities and great amenities. Super-pleasant woodsie setting!

Very clean over all of the campground. Stayed one night in a small travel trailer WiFi was terrible. Had to use my iPhone as a hotspot. I understand their tv reception was down. I do not use tv, but the office told me that when checking in.

I stayed for riverboat days. Very convenient. Extremely quiet. Staff friendly and accommodating. Will be back next week.

Accommodations were great, bathroom and showers were clean, people were friendly, cold not give 5star because long term campers made it look trashy, the spot we stayed at, we had to look a car left in the open field all weekend that had been there so long the grass and weeds were over grown around it. I would recommend a separate area for long term campers away from us weekend vacationers

Had a great stay. Clean well kept campground. Restrooms were extremely clean!! Pull through was level and included a grassy area with a fire pit, BBQ and picnic table.WIFI solid. Staff was beyond nice and very helpful with questions. Am returning next time in South Dakota. Highly recommend this KOA for the above reasons mentioned. Thank you to the staff for providing a pleasant experience.

Camping was ok. Missed the extra effort we had at other koa. Like guiding us to our camp site and picking up our trash from our site.

What a great campground! Our site #15 was excellent - so level that we didn't even have to add any leveling!! We had an end spot that was very roomy with a patio and picnic table. The pool was great and the bathrooms very clean andn showers also amazingly clean. It's been very dry without rain in the area so not much grass left in the dog park, but was still nice. We'll definitely come back again.

No fault of your own, but extremely hot and dry due to severe drought in your area. The stay was excellent, just the hot weather made it to uncomfortable to sit outside and enjoy the SD air �. Very clean restrooms and neat little store. Staff was friendly as well. Hope to make a return trip in the future.

Great campground tucked away a little with amazing staff and nice sites. Quite a few year-rounders however the amenities are great for travelers too.

Yankton turned out to be a surprisingly delightful small town to visit - and if staying here is the only way you can see it, then by all means go. This KOA has the requisite amenities common to the chain, but a dingier atmosphere than most due to the high concentration of long term inhabitants who tend to have cluttered and messy campsites. Office closed at 6PM.

Facilities were clean. Campground was neat and tidy. My only complaint is regarding the staff at the office. There was never a greeting, never a thank you, not even a smile. The attitude of the staff is pretty much a deal breaker.

Can't really give a good rating. I'm guessing it's fine. We booked a stay, but got no confirmation. I called the campground to see if we had a reservation just after pulling in to Yankton, they didn't see my name, and told me they were full. The next morning (after staying in the WalMart parking lot) I got a bill for the previous night. Could be a good place, but I wouldn't know

The Yankton/Missouri River KOA has clean restrooms and camping grounds. I was greeted well upon arriving to check-in. It is near the town of Yankton for the services that would be needed.

I always love staying here. The owners are so kind and sweet. I go here about once a year just by myself. He always checks on me to see if things are ok. We come here a few times a summer with the kids too. It has a lot to offer for kids. And most sites are so close to the park they can play and parents can relax!

Awesome campground! If you're looking for a spot in Yankton, give the KOA a try. The park is clean, the pool is awesome, the playground and jumping pillow were fun for the kids, and they also have a tractor train ride. The store inside is well stocked with supplies and they'll bring you ice or fire wood to your site. Very clean park and the new owners are nice and helpful. 5 stars! Thank you for the hospitality! We'll be back!

This campground is top notch, AMAZING!!! So many things to do. Everything is clean and kept up. Amazing pressure in the awesome showers. The pool was warm and clean. Camping spots are nice and spacious. The full hookups are wonderful. SUPER AMAZING PEOPLE that run it!! Cannot even explain how amazing this place was. We will definitely be back!!
