We were not welcomed well. But we were provided with a good site easy to get in and out of. Good place to spend the night but I wouldn’t stay there longer. Bathrooms/showers were co-ed. Not really clean. One of the lanes to drive on flooded out due to heavy rain. Glad we weren’t backed up to it. They did give 1cent discount on gas before we left. Not a lot but something I guess.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We welcome our guest verywell.There was only little rain came. some area has little puddle of water and it was not flooded.we give out 1cent liter discount for our guest which is better that nothing.

The owners of this KOA Winnipeg went over and above for us when we stayed just one night. We had the motor of the dinette pooch put on us, I asked a simple question, if they knew of someone who might be able to have a look. Within an hour we had someone at the motorhome and taking out the motor. Oleg said he would be back in the morning with an answer. True to his word he was, but unable to fix.

This KOA is okay. The location is quite far from Winnipeg. However, there is fuel on site, which was helpful. It is close to a small country grocer, also helpful. The site was decent enough and clean. We didn’t swim but the pool, although small, looked clean and fine for a dip when it is warm out. Bathrooms were okay. Hot shower, fairly clean so they were fine also.

We were tent camping with a family of 4 and a pet and found the tent sites quite small. There was no obvious spot for a tent and when we asked it was next to the other sites fire pit. Upgraded to a small RV site. The bathrooms were clean and the pool was nice. Because we were in a tent it was VERY loud on the highway. The store wasn’t the same as other KOAs we’ve been too, workers were kind.

Campground is clean, flowers and new trees planted. Washroom building is clean, bright and showers have good pressure and temperature. Hosts are friendly, accommodating and ready to help. All one expects from KOA.

Site was fine,didn’t need facilities. Hwy noise was very loud, overnight visit would be ok. Camp manager was very helpful in finding us rv repair man.

Great spot for an overnight stay, but it is noisy from the highway if that is an issue for some. Not too far from grocery and restaurants.

Well, kept Campground. They took a lot of time planting flowers. The pool is clean and we loved the fenced in dog run and the walking trails highly recommend it to anybody. Staff is friendly and it’s nice that they have propane and gas right on site.

It was a good campground but too close to the main highway and therefore too noisy. I could not sleep the entire night due to the passing cars and trucks.

Good roadside spot with a pool. Clean and well maintained. Adjacent to the Trans Canada highway so quite a bit of highway traffic noise. Friendly staff.

The camping is so clean, every thing is perfect. The only thing is that your camping is almost ON the Highway ans it is VERY nosy.

We now have stayed here couple times easy to get in and out. Lots of space. It is a slight drive to downtown Winnipeg but nice ring roads to get around.

Sites are very small. The office had a very bad strong smell. Our site had no water. Too close to the hwy traffic kept us up all night. There was a severe thunderstorm storm (90 km winds recorded around) we were in tents no one came around to check on people one of tents blew away tree limbs down etc.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

you choose your site without water only electric.For the storm we were in campground to check twice till midnight that time everything was fine.Other tenting people were there and they were all ok when we seen them.

Spots are way too close together. Facilities are very old and laundry is horrifically expensive when you’re already spending so much money on a nightly fee. Yikes. We will only be staying there again this summer out of necessity but I will not be recommending it to anyone.

Quiet, easy setup. Do need a direction sign at the entrance. Missed the turn and ended up in driveway with big green tire and flags.

Great campground facilities and super friendly staff! I wouldn’t recommend to others simply because it is very close to the highway and feels like it’s too much in the city than actual camping

Everything about our stay was great. It's close to the city. Check in was easy. The campground and washrooms were clean. It has everything one might need out of a campground stay just outside of a city.

Great spot to stay. Conveniently off the highway. Store has lots if you forgot anything. Laundry room. Pool was nice and refreshing. Campsites very clean

The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. She went over and above to help us with what we needed and gave directions to the museum we wanted to go to. Her attentiveness was much appreciated. The sites and bathrooms and everything else was neat and tidy. Love the dog area so our dog could run around free. What a great idea!

Great site, water and power were at opposite ends of site which was tricky but staff were very accommodating providing us with an extra water hose!

KOA Winnipeg is fantastic. The couple running it is super nice and the lady who cleans does an outstanding job. 5 stars for sure and will be the only campground I will stay at when I go to Winnipeg

This is a smallish KOA along the highway, so of course traffic is a background sound, but so are the plethora of bird songs. This was our second time staying here. Facilities are excellent, clean and well maintained. Campsites are level, clean and well maintained. Two shower buildings clean and bright, hot water and pressure. Staff are friendly and attentive. A BIG PLUS: if you like authentic butter chicken, the owner will make a meal for take out. The meal was made fresh, was plentiful, delicious and included rice, a samosa and a huge spiced naan. All was wonderful.

We really enjoy our stay, bathrooms are very clean, the owner is very nice and always ready to help. The only problem is the noise from the highway but it didn't stop us to sleep well. It's only 20 min to Winnipeg city center.
