The campground was very clean and sites were good size. We had a pull through. The washrooms were very clean and updated. The only downside was it's right off the highway so it was very noisey. The KOA host was very friendly.

We were given the rundown on hours of the facilities including swimming pool, etc. Staff was relatively courteous. We went to swim, they had closed the pool early. On the morning of our departure, we discovered we had left our cooler plugged in and drained the battery in our truck. We asked the owner for a boost. He had a booster and it literally took 20 seconds. He charged us $20 and was ru

The amenities, shower, washrooms were extremely clean. The grounds itself are fine. The noise level from the highway, unbearable for more than an overnight stay.

The staff was great, the facility's were good but a little dated. I would prefer the toilets and showers for women and men be separate.

We stayed over a week. Very clean facility and close to the city of Winnipeg. Bathrooms were immaculate. Nice little store. They also sell gasoline, diesel and propane. Unfortunately though, this KOA is located right next to the Trans Canada Hwy #1. The traffic noise, especially from semis is loud and pervasive. There is nowhere in the campground that is immune to it.

A nice family campground feel to it. A pleasant location next to the Assiniboine River but the road noise from the TransCanada Highway was ever present. This sites were good size and level and all facilities were very clean. Please try to fill in the deep potholes throughout the campground. Customers will undoubtedly appreciate it. The highway cracks, potholes, and bumps are bad enough.

Camp sites are very nice, bathrooms spotless, and management is very well done. Great location near west Winnipeg as well. But lots of noise from Trans Canada Hwy so bring ear plugs or play white noise at night so you can sleep. If not for the noise, would have given 5 star rating.

Road noise is a minus, one person at the front desk is borderline rude when dealing with customers, two others were helpful, bathrooms were clean

My stay was excellent, the staff were polite and courteous. The trailer stall was very accessible with all of the connections being very convenient. I would highly recommend the KOA Journey to anyone.

Great place to stay away from the city pace. Staff keeps facilities well groomed and we enjoy our stay every summer. We will return.

Great park! It was clean. Dog area needed to be weed whacked and it would be nice if other dog owners picked up their dog poop. Highway noise was unbearable, couldn’t even talk to each other. Would’ve been nice to know that before you pay in full upfront. Too bad I won’t be back.

This campground is clean and comfortable. Pool and shower/bathrooms are modern and well maintained. Sites are manicured and nicely treed, and you can choose from a variety of sizes and locations within the grounds. The well stocked store and gas station are a convenience. Bring earplugs or headphones if highway noise bothers you as the campground is located right off the highway.

The words “homey” and “clean” would be the first to come to mind when describing our stay at this particular location! The owners are incredibly nice and you can tell they truly care about the quality of your stay. 10/10 highly recommend!

Soooooo noisy!!! But the owners can’t do much about that. The park itself is nicely done with big flower planters. The bathrooms are nice. There could be more than 2 washers and dryers as several of us were trying to use them. But the highway noise is awful. Couldn’t sit outside or keep our windows open. It’s like camping in a truckstop along an interstate. I wish I knew that before booking

The staff were so friendly and helpful, the campground was well laid out with nice shade trees, even in the dog off leash area, which is excellent if it is hot. The cleanest, nicest showers we have ever encountered. Nice flowers and landscaping and they were planting even more trees and refreshing the gravel paths, nice walk around the perimeter of the site with river views and benches.

KOA Winnipeg is fantastic. The couple running it is super nice and the lady who cleans does an outstanding job. 5 stars for sure and will be the only campground I will stay at when I go to Winnipeg

This is a smallish KOA along the highway, so of course traffic is a background sound, but so are the plethora of bird songs. This was our second time staying here. Facilities are excellent, clean and well maintained. Campsites are level, clean and well maintained. Two shower buildings clean and bright, hot water and pressure. Staff are friendly and attentive. A BIG PLUS: if you like authentic butter chicken, the owner will make a meal for take out. The meal was made fresh, was plentiful, delicious and included rice, a samosa and a huge spiced naan. All was wonderful.

We really enjoy our stay, bathrooms are very clean, the owner is very nice and always ready to help. The only problem is the noise from the highway but it didn't stop us to sleep well. It's only 20 min to Winnipeg city center.
