General Campground Information

Pool Hours

Family and adult pool open late May-mid September, weather dependent. Daily hours: 8am - 10pm

Glacier National Park

We are at the perfect location to visit Glacier's pristine forests, alpine meadows, rugged mountains, and spectacular lakes. With over 700 miles of trails, Glacier is a hiker's paradise for adventurous visitors seeking wilderness and solitude. Relive the days of old through historic chalets, lodges, and the famous Going-to-the-Sun Road. This year, in addition to needing a Park Pass to enter, Glacier National Park is continuing a vehicle reservation system to reduce congestion, improve visitor experience, and protect park resources. In 2025, a separate vehicle reservation is required.

Late Check-in

If you expect to arrive after our front desk closes, there is a late arrivals box with everything you'll need to check in. Located at our front kiosk is a brown box. Inside, you'll find your site map with directions to your site. If you have a cabin, it will be open and your key will be inside. Please be sure to stop by the front desk in the morning to register for your stay. Text us at (406) 345-6009 if you have questions.

Altering Reservations

Feel free to contact us anytime to make changes to your reservation. Whether you'd like to move, add, or subtract days, we are here to help. A reservation's dates cannot be changed to a new week inside the cancelation window listed below. Changing dates within the window will result in a cancelation (forfeit one night deposit) and the creation of a new reservation.

Cancellation

Cancellations result in a refund of your deposit minus a $25 cancellation fee. As your arrival nears, cancellations result in a forfeit of your one-night deposit according to the following schedule:
  • RV Sites: 7 days
  • Tent Sites: 7 days
  • Camping Cabins: 14 days
  • Deluxe Lodges: 14 days

The cancellation must be before 4 pm (MST). For example, if you are scheduled to arrive on July 20, 2024, for an RV site, you must cancel before 4 pm (MST) on July 18.

Pet Policy

We follow the KOA National Pet Policy. Good behavior is required. Dogs of any breed that are hostile or aggressive will be asked to leave the campground, along with their owners. Bring the leash. Dogs must be kept on leashes no longer than 6 feet when outside their owners' vehicles or rental units. Do not leave a tethered dog unattended. Remember manners. Constant barking bothers other campers. If your pet is too vocal, you'll need to find other accommodations. Service dogs are welcomed although leash and aggressive behavior rules apply. You are required to pick up after your animal friends. Our pet fees apply to our lodging accommodations and vary depending on size and type of accommodation.

Resort Fee

Resort Fee: A nightly resort fee of $25 allows us to offer exceptional amenities and activities for no additional cost. Every guest has open access to our beautiful landscaped gardens, two large pools, hot tubs, saunas, kid's area, yard games, and huge pet playground. We also provide nightly activities like live music, rafting and fly fishing demonstrations, a magic show, and birds of prey show. The only time you will pay extra is if you take something home with you, like a tie-dye t-shirt.

Site Guarantee

Looking to enhance your camping experience by reserving sites/cabins near friends or family, or prefer a specific campsite or cabin? Lock your site for a $50 one time fee per reservation to make your stay even better.

Wi-Fi and Phone Signal

We provide WiFi throughout the campground. However, a number of factors impact its strength; including things like number of guests, weather conditions, the proximity of our antennas, and even nearby RVs. Therefore, we cannot guarantee great WiFi at your site. However, we have provided several tables and chairs near our office where the signal is strong. Cellular service at our campground and throughout Glacier National Park varies by provider.

We will open our 2026 season for reservations in early 2025. Groups should call us at 406-387-5341 or go ahead and make inquiries to our reservations team at [email protected].

Red Bus Tours

For the 2025 season, we will be a pickup location for Red Bus Tours, Glacier National Park's historic in-park transportation. Upon departing the West Glacier KOA Resort you will soon enter Glacier National Park and drive through the cedar and hemlock forests of the Lake McDonald Valley. Travel up the Going-to-the-Sun Road along a glacially formed arête to the top of the Crown of the Continent at Logan Pass. Head down through the St. Mary Valley and out to the prairies of Big Sky Country. Enjoy views of the valley during an optional lunch at Many Glacier Hotel. Experience an encore vista on your return trip to the West Glacier KOA Resort.
