As a KOA the facilities are nice and clean. The tent area could be placed a bit better. It's in a triangle of three different camp roads, which strikes me as an after thought. In truth the tent area should be furthest from the entrance of the KOA. That would help with the noise of vehicles coming and going. You know like the massive camper that shows up at 3am and you're right there in a tent.Loud

I was so thankful to get one of the sites with a tall shade tree! The women's bathroom was large and very clean. The showers were cramped and no working exhaust fan in mine. The shower curtain smelled of mildew. The shower itself worked great.

Stayed in a deluxe cabin provided us with more space and indoor bathroom. Our grandkids enjoyed sleeping in the loft area. We used the grill to fix our meals which helped keep our food cost down. The pool was operational during this stay which our grandkids took advantage of. We visited the Wellington lake for some fishing. We plan to go back in the future.

We stayed for 10 days. It was pretty clean when we arrived but I ended up cleaning the laundry myself. I did not use any other facilities.

A nice but very quiet campground. No kids around. Seemed nobody stayed for longer than a night. Just a little place travelers stay along the way. Overall it was very clean and easy to find.

We didn't get to do much because of the terrible heat and this was just an overnight stay. However, everything looked well kept. The young lady at the desk was very accommodating. The showers were fantastic and clean. I wouldn't mind visiting again sometime.

The KOA itself was fine, but a number of campers completely ignored the quiet hours rule and were very noisy until quite late at night. Not ideal after a long day of traveling. Would like to see that rule enforced a little better.

Only stayed one night but the sites were decent size, they had great laundry facilities ! Bathrooms were clean and the showers were clean also! Pool was questionable but would definitely recommend and stay there again�

It was the 4th of July weekend we stayed one night. Was not as nice as our first visit. Really changed my rating from before and the cost went up.

Reservation #11727608 We would like to inform you that we had the most disappointing and disgusting time at the Wellington KOA in Wellington, KS this past weekend! We checked in at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 2 and left late afternoon Sunday, July 3. We had reserved 3 days, July 2 thru July 5 and could only stand 24 hours at the most. When we arrived,etc. See reply sent to you separately.

After hours reserved check-in went very smoothly. I hardly slept at all in my tent because of the noise of the train yard that must be next door. All night there were train cars being moved around d and slamming into each other. It was terrible.

Really pretty KOA - lots of beautiful trees and shade. Has a lot of amenities. Would stay there again.

Good campground. Didn’t use much, just water, electric and cable but all were great. Good location for “midway” on our DFW to Lincoln trip. Thanks!

Great place to spend the night traveling from Texas to Kansas City. Site 18 was shady and mostly quiet. The trains didn’t bother us. Friendly staff and clean property.

I definitely felt like royalty with the friendly staff that were willing to answer any questions and take care of any need that we had! From personally showing us our spot to taking firewood to our spot for us. It was a solid 10 service level and we loved it. The kids loved the jumping pillow and didn’t want to leave. We live quite a ways away but if we ever come back we’d love to stay here!

The pool area is not only unsafe, but gross. Frankly it’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. My kid tripped over a warped board and hurt her arm pretty severely. Several days late she has numerous bruises covering her whole arm. The whole thing is poorly made.

We stayed here for 1 night as a stop over heading North. We wanted to stay 2 nights but nasty storms with large hail and tornadoes were predicted the next night so we elected only 1 night. Site #22 that we had was nice. Level and gravel and easy to get into. On the roads to maneuver inside the park there are lowing hanging branches in several areas that scraped the top and side of our RV a little bit. Site was just long enough for our 40' Class A rig with a 14' trailer and prius. Location of the pedstal, sewer and water was good. No one at the office when we checked in around 4p, but check in was a breeze with the book and receipts and a map of the campground. Overall it was good and what I expect from KOA for the price paid. The people at the park that night were noisy until around 12a-1a, which was annoying and many of them had campfires going until around that time. That was the only downside to the park.
