Web site says can't check in till 3 got there at 3 office closed. Campground run down needed mowed. Cable boxes falling apart. Power box needs upgrade power supply low

We very much appreciated the opportunity to stay somewhere near where we had things planned for our trip that was not too far from Ft Worth. The campground access was pretty easy and the hookups worked great. The campground was clean, and the place was quiet. Would have rated higher if this hadn't been an RV storage. it looked jenky. Pool needed a trim, and washing machines didn't quite work 100

More full time residents, than other campers. Their rigs were not in the best shape so not pleasing to look at. Camp grounds were very dated, and in need of even minimal attention to get up to a 3 star. bathrooms were not very clean and clearly not attended to based on posted cleaning schedule. We stayed only due to the proximity of our final destination. If traveling through, move on.

The manager was very helpful. Our original spot we were put in was not level enough for us to not stay hooked up to our truck. They allowed us to move to another spot. We will definitely be staying there again.

Great little campground for the price! Showers and site were nice. A little disappointed the pool was not open when we stayed.

This is a true journey KOA - no frills campsite that is a little rough around the edges. The pull through area was kept ok but the opposite side of the site was quite rough. However the staff were polite and accommodating when we asked to change our pull through to a site better for our longer 5th wheel rather than a short one. Watch out for putting slides out - close trees and electric boxes.

Easy access & location; quiet with a mixture of too close & adequate size sites. Nice large grass areas for pets to exercise & play in. A good, convenient place for 1 or 2 nites to rest and move on.

Late check in fine. My electrical surge protector show a fault in the power on site 6. The fault also existed on two of the other sites, I think 9/10. Sites 11 and 12 were OK, so we moved to 11 after talking to the gentleman on the phone after hours. He was friendly and helpful.

We arrived after dark but immediately see broke down vehicles in a grassy area. The manager was very helpful with an issue at our spot which we really appreciated. In the morning when we could see, the park in the front is nice, there are long term rentals towards the back that are kind of an eyesore and the whole area is a bit overgrown, but it was ok for overnight

Checkin was effortless. I had to come in late and mgt left me information about my site. We used the pool. Pump did not seem to be working very well. There were leaves and debris in the pool. Overall the stay was good.

We were there for a graduation/ birthday in Fort Worth. Not really at KOA but to sleep. Was in a 40 ft toyhauler. Supposed to be a pull through but due to a tree was just a pull in. I backed out to save roof and side of camper. Our slide only a couple feet from neighbors slide. Others staying there all really nice. Convenient location.

We have been members since 2001 and always choose KOA when they are available. We generally experience friendly staff, nice park and clean surroundings. This KOA is sad on all counts appears to be a primary monthly park. Our site ended up being sandwiched between two families with unleashed dogs. It was one of the worst stays we have experienced and certainly is no where near other quality KOAs

Solid overnight stay, utilities all good. Appreciate the gracious and pleasant lady, in the office, for an early check in. Also, thank you for honoring the request for shade as the lawn, tree and site orientation were perfect. Site 10 is on a loop separated from rest of park creating a good balance for overnight visitors and residents, well done.

Ladies, room, bathroom, showers floor, slimy, and dirty. The shower did not drain. It was disgusting. I didn’t shower after that my whole time.

Great place to stop for a solo female traveler, especially if you have a dog. The dog area is small but mighty! A nice bench and a large shade tree make it special. Hospitality was awesome. Thank you.

Great stay, very clean and easy camper hook ups. Make sure to check board for assigned camping spot! There is some road noise from highway but being close to the highway made it super easy to get places.

the only good thing about this place is the gentleman who is the caretaker of the mostly "permanent resident" type campground. he was friendly and competent. we were packed in like sardines and had about 1 foot between our slide and the next camper. it was beyond unkempt with clothes and "things" hanging out at sites. as to the place as a whole, i can't believe it's a KOA.

This is a nice RV campground with friendly staff, fairly level pull through spots with full hookups. It is pretty quite for being 1 block off Interstate 20 and very convenient to many major stores and restaurants. My only complaint is the little fenced in dog park. It is a muddy mess located in the lowest spot on the property. They do have a nice area to walk your dog on leash.

The majority of this KOA is extended stay. Messy sites. 11 short stay pull thru sites with even/odd site numbers sharing electric hook ups. Most sites are so narrow that once slides are out there is a foot between rigs. Our door opened three feet away from our neighbors.TV cables a trip hazard running across ground between sites. Sites not level. Office closes at 3:00, same time check in begins.

With only a 1 night stay, it's hard to judge all about a location, but from what we could see this one was nice. Very conveniently located near the highway, but not close enough to hear all the noise. The site was a bit unlevel and I understand weather impacts grades all the time. Your site had everything we like about KOAs and it was easy to get to, check in and get situated after a long day.

The staff, front desk and maintenance were super friendly and really did treat us nicely. This park is under construction and monthly users have not moved in years. Unkept trailers, flat tires, clutter, old wooden steps to entries,,propane tanks lying around and an unusable pool. Traveling guests should not be sandwiched between full timers POS travel trailers.

We came in after hours for 1 night stay . It was ok for the most part . Don’t have very many slots for a big rig. Our spot the cable out let was being used by another person 2 spots away we had to park over his cord . Looked like more of a campground that most were living in . It was a decent over night stay to get some sleep and move on.

We stayed over the weekend, wifi was decent, place was clean and quiet, I can tell they take care of it. Wide spaces in the pull through lots. We even had a shade tree in our yard so it helped with the 100 degree sun. No picnic tables, so bring a lawn chair or something.

Easy pull through sites, nice staff, convenient location, reasonably priced. Weatherford Texas is a nice town. We stayed there in January and again in March 2026.
