Our stay was quiet and peaceful, and the area was clean. I liked that our spot had a tree, but it lacked a paved parking pad. So it was hard to level our trailer and stay out of the mud. It would also be nice to have more shrubs in between the spots to provide more privacy and greenery.

Great community filles with great people. The park itself was very quiet despite being so close to the highway and its location makes it easy to get anywhere in town or a take a short drive to Fort Worth.

Weatherford KOA Journey was a good stayover, perfect halfway point in a long day journey. Our late arrival setup was smooth and seamless and the hosts were very accommodating.

Easy check in, lots of construction outside the koa, which made it a one way street. Some of the long termed residents need to do some clean up. Not that big of an issue although it could deter people from coming back. We plan to return as it's a nice place, quiet & nice staff

The campground was very small. Site they had assigned us had a big tree in the way so we moved to more open site. The landscaping was really bad with weeds growing up around trees, benches, sites etc. Having worked at a campground recently int TN, grooming sites and area is not the focus here. We opted to leave a day early in our stay.

This KOA needs a lot of attention. It was pretty bad.The laundry was filthy, they don’t mow the grass in the campsites and I had to share the sewer connection with my neighbor. pretty disgusting. This was site 28 would never stay there again and nobody picks up after their dog. They don’t enforce it. The management was very nice and pleasant, but they really need to clean the place up.

The park was clean. It was disapointing that the lawn was not mowed around the rv sites. It made the park look very neglected and not KOA standards. The showers were clean but the water was cold. It is an adequate rv park to make a stop if passing through the area.

The grounds need to be maintained better (mow lots and trim trees). There was a dead tree stump right where we came out our door with a hole in it, so I was unable to put up my fence for our dog. WIFI would not connect to TV and I could not get cable to work, so we had no tv while we were there.

Campground was ok. Manager nice and accommodating. Grounds could have been maintained better. Grass high.

The facility has a tired feel about it. It was clean and offered some shade but there’s a for sale sign on the fence outside and I suspect it’s about to be gobbled up by developers.

The price was good and the location is great. It is an older park which the grounds need some TLC. Restrooms were nice. Management lived on site and very friendly.

Staff accommodated w/shady spot, bathrooms were clean and koa is near everything, but, grass needed to be mowed, dog feces EVERYWHERE and the whole park looked unkempt.

While we always enjoy our stay at the Weatherford West KOA, the dog park is a real joke. Not only is it too small but it is located in the lowest area of the entire campground with no drainage. With the smallest amount of rain, it becomes a mud pit. You can't even get inside the gate without wading in water and mud. There is plenty of room on higher ground for a descent size dog park.

We were amazed that KOA allows this place to remain in their system. Everything was run down. The whole place is just adequate for a one-night stay. The sink bowls are the best thing about the campground, shaped like the state of Texas, very interesting. Seems like it is only staying in business because of the permanent sites.

The campground itself is OK a little dated and our site was not level at all. The great thing about this location is the location. Everything you need is within 15 minutes of this location. We would stay here again.

Appearance of an establishment means a lot to people. They could put a little more energy into grounds maintenance. The people running the place were nice.

If this was the first KOA I have ever been to, I would never go to another one, grass so long at site you can’t sit outside, needs to be up kept, I think the owners are to old to handle the responsibility and it says it’s a Journey, that’s a joke.

This is not your normal KOA. Tight spaces (you are literally inches from your neighbor), no water pressure, no picnic tables, no fire pits, gravel/dirt roads. Fenced dog park is literally about a 10x10 area. Location is not bad. General store had absolutely NOTHING. Bathhouse was old & nasty. Price was OK. Absolutely nothing to do inside the park. I am not kidding about it being Tight

After a long day’s drive, this campground was such a lovely retreat of trees, grass, quiet & restful. This was, in fact, our only 2 night stay on our trip home from California to Ohio & it couldn’t have been better. As it happened, we needed some supplies & Walmart was nearby…very handy. Highly recommend!!!

There seems to be many long term/campers with junky stuff piled around them. Lots of movement at night with driving by cars and people who seem to live there. Had a difficult time pulling our coach out and not hitting branches in the early morning hrs.

We stayed for just a night. The campground was well kept and really close to weatherford and lots of restaurants etc. The staff were really nice. We were close to the entrance so it was a little noisy from the interstate.

Property unkept, equipment following in disrepair. Spaces very close to each other with slides almost touching neighbor slide. Lots of permanent parties with "stuff" all around site.

One of the Best KOA’s we’ve ever stayed at! Very well kept, very clean shower house and they even have a dog wash! Very friendly staff and clean sites with great views!

Check in was quick. The site was a bit rustic but roomy. Don’t expect everything to be manicured and weed free, but they are mowed. Everything worked, but the wi-fi was slow. So slow the it makes my old Hayes dial-up modem fast. I was able to check email but I had to be patient.
