It was so cute! Our dog loved the dog park and everyone was so kind! It was a beautiful experience and the lakes were very pretty!

A quick stay but will be back. Easy access from the interstate, close to shopping and restaurants, and clean grounds.

Great, very quite , stay 3 day, Maria made sure we were taken care of, very close to whatever you can need, only problem we notice, a lot of dog poop that does not get picked off,,,

The staff was amazing and helpful. The pool was nice. However, over half of this Koa was residential living in campers. That really changes the vibe of the campground. Our hookups for the hose was a struggle to use we had to move everything forward to another hookup to drain. The area is a bit undesirable also. This isn’t your typical KOA.

Nice facility. Our only issue was the first space we were assigned had a bad 30 Amp receptacle. I brought it to the attention of the woman working the counter and she quickly assigned us another location, no hassles. The location is great, everything we could have possibly needed is a short drive away. We are travel trailer newbies, and experiences like this will ensure we continue to adventure.

It was not an attractive site, landscaping was not good, it was not inviting at all, spacing was congested. Will not stay again and will not recommend to anyone

Has to be the WORST campground in the KOA system. First, no one at the front desk at check in. Just an envelope with my name on it, site number 1 and map with directions. OK. Get to the site and it is VERY narrow, VERY short and hook ups not spaced to make connects easily. 1st attempt hanging out in the driveway and can't hook up. 2nd attempt no room for the slide. 3rd ripped awning off tree

The space was easy to find, easy to enter, and almost level. Restroom was clean, but toilets need an upgrade. There are many long termers. Some trash around the park, but the wind does blow, but the same trash was there for our three day stay. It was fine for our purposes—a place to stay with electric to run the AC during the June heat.

A very nice and affordable KOA experience. They have a very nice up front KOA portion of the campground and a rear portion for those who are staying long term. The up front portion was very nicely taken care of, complete with pool, playground, dog park, and a nice walking trail around the park. The pool was nice and big--and well taken care of. Shower rooms were clean and wonderful! Great stay!

5 Stars for Maria - she was very helpful to us as we looked for a place to stay - helped us find the best spot for us - friendly at check-in - just overall a pleasure to work with. At the site everything worked. Electric/water/sewer - all fine with no problems.

I stayed one night, was an easy checkin even tho I was late. Envelope taped to the door with my name n space #. Great place. With AC going there is no interstate noise.

We were there 2 nights/3 days… never saw one staff member. The place was dirty, unkept and smelly. There were a lot of permanent residents with run down trailers. Not close to any attractions over a 1/2 hour to Fort Worth. The dumpster was over flowing and locals came to dump their trash in it. This location is not up to the KOA standards we’ve become accustomed too.

The Weatherford KOA, had very few spaces as the majority of sites appeared to be long term residence. All in poor upkeep. The restrooms were dirty, no hand soap, and showers that looked as if they were not cleaned The only positives, the site was level in the section that looked like it was intended a , lots of green space, and the there was no street noise for being close to the highway.

The site we had was fine, except the grass really needed mowing. The camp store was not open but we had a number to call if we needed anything. Since this KOA was really close to shopping not a big problem. Restrooms were clean. Just not one of the nicer KOA's we have stayed in but for a short time it was ok.

It wasn't bad nor was it great. I liked the couple running it and they are trying their best to improve and keep it up! Poor guy was working on the pool several times/day having a time getting it looking good. Having a pool myself I know how hard that job is and what happens when it is not kept up. It was convenient having the repair shop on site! Dump site and propane fill were down.

There were pros and cons; the dog park had cigarette butts left there, couldn’t swim in the pool as it was green and cloudy, and it was mainly full timers with only a few spots for overnighters. The pros were; there was lots of grass for our dogs. We humans give it a 3 but our dogs give it a 5.

Easy access to I20 made me close to family, shopping, and events in the area. So much well kept grassy area for exercising my dog. I appreciated how the park is clean and well maintained. I noticed an ant mound at the neighboring electrical box causing some ants to come into my camper. I notified management and it was immediately taken care of. I will definitely stay again.

Old facility that needs a MAJOR update! Pool not useable, poor cable, management not helpful etc. Good location, and rv repair shop on site!

The KOA looked run down. No maintenance or landscaping had been done. Mid June and pool and playground were not available for use. KOA office shut down at 4:30pm. The northwest area was full of old car parts and junk. Many campers have been living there for years with junk all around their RVs. This is not a real KOA.

We were long term (10months) they started adding more spaces bad enough b4 RV's with slide outs would touch the neighbors wifi was horrible and no ability to download or stream no real playground except a swing and see saw the lots where gravel very difficult to walk on!!! Fell twice and so many cat's running free we set up bird feeders took back down because of the cats the ONLY good was Maria

Can't see traffic on the road at entrance. Could not get wy-fi to connect. Propane equipment was broken. There were multiple sewer issues,sewer draining slowly or not at all. The pool is in need of repairs. There was no manager on duty most of the weekend ( office and store not opened ) KOA is my first choice to stay, but this is the worst one I've ever been at.
