We did a overnight stay there,the facility was nice,the bathroom was a little dated but was fine. The location was easy to get to from the freeway, food and shopping close by and the facility was clean and the staff was nice.

Was very disappointed. The park is dumpy, showers are old & grungy, laundry facilities were not very clean, dryer lint wasn’t cleaned out & even though the posted signs said no washing pet blankets and bedding, the washers were littered with pet hair. Need upgrades & enforced rules. The staff was friendly and we appreciated them directing us to our campsite in the dark.

Terrible bathrooms are filthy mold growing in showers floor hasn’t been swept in a long time 11 sites for campers rest is for long term or permanent or long term not up to KOA standards very sad

I usually don’t rate things like this but, we have stayed at this campground in the past and found it okay when we went to stay here they were accommodating letting us in a day early. The campground is very small 11 units for travelers most of the ground is either permanent or long term stays. The bathrooms are filthy to say the least hadn’t been cleaned will there. This is not up to KOA stand

It is not built for big rigs to maneuver well. I requested a 65’. Pull thru with no trees. No problem the said. Our site, #8, had a tree on the right front that was low hanging so we had to park to the far left of the site. I told them what we needed when making the reservation and they assured me they had a longer, open site. We also had no satellite reception which I was told we would have. Wo

I can’t believe that this is a KOA. The spaces are so close together that I couldn’t deploy my awning. Half of the park is being used by permanent residents. Some of those RVs are in poor condition. The staff were not available after 3:00.

The staff was very nice. The park itself is another question. It’s very run down, a lot of full timers, lack of grounds keeping, tricky exit…..by this I mean blind spot coming out and the need to go into other lane to come out, bathroom code was 6 numbers long and than you hit unlock button….when you’ve been traveling for 3-5 hours you don’t have time to do all that!

We are surprised this is a KOA. It is a dump. Overgrown weeds, broken down, and appear to be abandoned, RVs and semis. Not up to KOA standards at all.

We arrived on a Saturday and the office had closed at 3 pm.There was a 24/7 phone number, but no one answered.Our campsite was not clean.There were pieces of plastic cut up zip ties, and cigarette butts everywhere, as well beer cans strewn about.This was the most depressing KOA we’ve ever stayed at.The field adjacent to the Kamp K9 “dog run” was full of poop! We won’t be back.KOA should do

I'm disappointed. Walked to the pool at 5pm, it was already closed for the day and it was 85 degrees outside. We booked this hotel because I called and asked if the pool would be open and they said yes. Then, I went to shower and the drain was clogged. I had to stand in someone else's water. So gross. Easily the worst KOA we've been to.

For $36 a nite it’s a good deal. We did not use any of the facilities. Got in on a Sunday and the office was closed at 1. Made reservations same day so was lucky the maintenance guy was in the office. It is very quiet. A lot of full timers. Behind a harbor freight and there is a Rv shop onsite.

The park just seems a little runned down. Too many full timers and old trailers. Were a few nice ones in the front and bathrooms were clean. Place needs some TLC.

We stayed 5 days, which were the most relaxing days the park is quiet and very nicely maintained, we had to use the shower facilities due to our water heater not working and they also were very clean. Staff was excellent and friendly allowing us to stay the extra day. We will be staying again in the future...� ,

The women's had 2 of 3 toilets with crap andno water to flush. The third had a full trash can in it with adult leakage products, likely from the permanent residents as we were the only others there.. The shower floor was very slick with soap?, and I pulled the drain mat in to keep my footing. Park was barren looking. Never talked to an employee.

Very narrow sites, one of our sites had a tree that prevented opening slide outs, cable cord running thru site and trip hazard, sewer sites at end of site requiring you to dump uphill, can’t see oncoming traffic’s from left when exiting- blocked by trees/fence from KOA

It was a very nice & clean RV Park with plenty of room & easy instructions to our parking space. What I liked most was that there were lots of trees and grass which made it really nice to wake up in the mornings & just look outside enjoying my cup of coffee. They also had a dog park which to my surprise was also very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

There were a lot of long term site occupants but it was very quiet. Easy to get to and from the interstate. No problems.

We were very uncomfortable in this campground. Our site was very close to the entrance. Most of the campground seemed sketch. And the campground seemed very cluttered and unkept.

Weatherford KOA needs updating, better upkeep of the grounds and a staff that is present. The long term live-in section and RV business makes the place look even worse. Pool and deck area is filthy and looks uninviting. Now I know why it was cheaper than most KOA; I should have drove further to avoid this location.

Place not well maintained grass not cut. Dump rv repair shop on site with junk everywhere old rvs that probably haven’t moved in years. This park is for those permanent stay folks and that’s mostly what is there sad to say. Definitely not up to KOA standards at all

We cut our stay there by one day because of several issues. Internet majority of the time was non-existent or would keep dropping. Pool bottom is filthy (not leaf debris), clearly not vacuumed/scrubbed. Office hours inconsistent to brochure (closed one day at 3:00 b/c "We work 24 hours a day." Pool hours inconsistent with brochure. Huge potholes in entrance to campground.

We stayed over the weekend, wifi was decent, place was clean and quiet, I can tell they take care of it. Wide spaces in the pull through lots. We even had a shade tree in our yard so it helped with the 100 degree sun. No picnic tables, so bring a lawn chair or something.

Easy pull through sites, nice staff, convenient location, reasonably priced. Weatherford Texas is a nice town. We stayed there in January and again in March 2026.
