The facility is older than many of the other KOAs we have stayed in but the staff is amazing & work hard to keep it neat & clean. The only thing I would really change is the size of the dog area. It's very small which might work for smaller dogs but I have a large dog & there wasn't enough room for her to play with other larger dogs. Overall, we enjoyed our time there.

The office was closed when arrived with no check in instructions left. I called and they did answer, but just told me to stay in any of the tent sites. The trash can was overflowing with garbage and there was garbage all around the camp sites. The bathrooms were basically clean. The swimming pool was closed in Texas on a hot June day, didn’t look like it had been opened for the season.

The swimming pool was not as advertised. It was unusable our whole stay. The camp hosts kept saying tomorrow and the pool was never open. Very disappointing

The camping spots were so close together. The campgrounds needed mowed badly. All but about 10 spaces were filled with full timers. The pool was closed and full of green water. The office was closed also when we arrived at 3:00. We will not be staying at this campground again. It’s not up to KOA standards.

This park is old and tired. Badly in need of facelift, sites need mowing, weed eat, sewer connection confusing to back to back hook ups. RV repair shop at entrance not appealing. Sorry we were disappointed. Will not stay in this KOA unless a great deal of work is accomplished.

No A/C in the restrooms, couldn't even go up to the front to purchase a bag of ice. Also, we kept being told the pool would be ready the next day, when we pulled out the pool was NOT ready. Please put a plunger in the ladies restroom so that you don't have to go find someone to ask for the toliets to be plunged in order to do your business. All in all it was an okay stay.

Pool closed, office closed at 5:00 PM. The place was cluttered, sinks in washroom sprayed water all over you when you washed your hands.

We were only passing through and wanted full hook ups for a night. We came in late and left early so I don't have much to say about this one. There is a camper store there that looks like they may have items that are obsolete or hard to find?

The grass at our pad needed cutting and the pool water was green. Some of theirs could be attributed to the abundance of rain but it had been over a week since that had occurred.

Staff was awesome. RV Mechanic Shop right there was happy to help with a step issue. Green grass and mature trees. Very moist grounds especially in K9 area. Other areas to walk your fur babies. Very dog friendly. Campsites are very close. Additional space in front & back of rig (sun exposure) -must share grassy area alongside w/shade trees w/others. Booked because of Location & Pool. Reservation by phone easy, super nice lady, left after hours check in for me to find. Park was not manicured, dog disappeared in deep grass. Worst part was site being so I level RT tires on 5th wheel completely off ground after auto level—even after placing Jack pads.

Not a big place but close to highway.I did not find the road noise loud from my spot. They suggested beautiful gardens that we went to that even through we were local had never heard of before. The pull through spaces are tight but it was quiet and clean. The restrooms while older were very clean.

Fine for a one night stay but not much more. The grounds are unappealing and the landscaping is poorly maintained. Everything worked though. Just not a place to spend a long visit.

RVs parked way to close to each other. We could stick out our arm out the window and touch the 5th wheeled next to us. We went to HEB, Texas Roadhouse and relaxed during our stay.

Only stayed a few hours overnight as we were traveling out of state, but the campgrounds were clean and our site was exactly what we needed. We did not use any of the amenities.

Our first space 8 was fine. But we needed to stay two more days and had to move to space 39. There was mud and water on both sides of Rv.

We ended up at KOA Weatherford due to a minor wreck that disabled our tow truck. The staff was excellent in helping us get settled into a spot for three weeks with no prior notice. I watched. The park is well maintained. Grass mowed. Maintenance issues quickly resolved. Excellent customer service.

Very old with more long term RVs then RVers. Units very close together and many in disrepair. Cars and trucks parked everywhere and some restricting the access roads. OK for overnight but not a place to go back to. Not on par with any other KOA we have stayed at .

For us it was more of a sports weekend so we mainly slelpt at the KOA. We did like the overall grounds, our dogs were able to enjoy some time outside before it rained. Our park host was great, they went out of thier way to get our propane tanks filled and delivered to our trailer site as we were out at the sports part until midnight. Very friendly.

This KOA does not have the most attractive access, but convenient off I-20 and to most shopping, restaurants within Weatherford. Utilities were adequate, sites are gravel as are most of the interior roads. On site personnel were accommodating and we will return for future visits.

Location seems to be focused more on permanent stays. Also, grounds need more upkeep to keep infrastructure current and aesthetically appealing.

Campground was mostly well-kept. One of the permanent trailers had a leak that would flood across the gravel road overnight. Main problem with this stay was that the pool was advertised to open on 5/1 per the web site; actual opening will be 5/31. I honestly would have reconsidered the stay if I’d known in advance the pool wouldn’t be open. Very much disappointed the kids.

The campground had nice large areas of grass. Our campsite (shared with neighbor) was overgrown with grass at least a foot long. The cable TV hook-up was rusted and not useable. We won’t be staying here again.

Bathrooms were in need of better daily maintenance as well as overall improvement. Sites were crowded. Okay for overnight.

Nice park! I was so glad to see the RV repair shop at the entrance. I needed help with an electrical problem and was pulling out that morning. They had me pull in their parking lot and fixed it right a way. I would highly recommend them.

As an overnight stay, this site was perfectly suitable. Conveniently located and near numerous restaurants, grocery stores and the like. Traffic noise is a bit loud, not surprising considering the closeness to the Interstate but it wasn’t unbearable.

We stayed over the weekend, wifi was decent, place was clean and quiet, I can tell they take care of it. Wide spaces in the pull through lots. We even had a shade tree in our yard so it helped with the 100 degree sun. No picnic tables, so bring a lawn chair or something.

Easy pull through sites, nice staff, convenient location, reasonably priced. Weatherford Texas is a nice town. We stayed there in January and again in March 2026.
