Very old with more long term RVs then RVers. Units very close together and many in disrepair. Cars and trucks parked everywhere and some restricting the access roads. OK for overnight but not a place to go back to. Not on par with any other KOA we have stayed at .

For us it was more of a sports weekend so we mainly slelpt at the KOA. We did like the overall grounds, our dogs were able to enjoy some time outside before it rained. Our park host was great, they went out of thier way to get our propane tanks filled and delivered to our trailer site as we were out at the sports part until midnight. Very friendly.

This KOA does not have the most attractive access, but convenient off I-20 and to most shopping, restaurants within Weatherford. Utilities were adequate, sites are gravel as are most of the interior roads. On site personnel were accommodating and we will return for future visits.

Extremely friendly help over the phone. The restrooms were very clean. The sites themselves were old and worn.

Location seems to be focused more on permanent stays. Also, grounds need more upkeep to keep infrastructure current and aesthetically appealing.

Campground was mostly well-kept. One of the permanent trailers had a leak that would flood across the gravel road overnight. Main problem with this stay was that the pool was advertised to open on 5/1 per the web site; actual opening will be 5/31. I honestly would have reconsidered the stay if I’d known in advance the pool wouldn’t be open. Very much disappointed the kids.

The campground had nice large areas of grass. Our campsite (shared with neighbor) was overgrown with grass at least a foot long. The cable TV hook-up was rusted and not useable. We won’t be staying here again.

Bathrooms were in need of better daily maintenance as well as overall improvement. Sites were crowded. Okay for overnight.

Nice park! I was so glad to see the RV repair shop at the entrance. I needed help with an electrical problem and was pulling out that morning. They had me pull in their parking lot and fixed it right a way. I would highly recommend them.

As an overnight stay, this site was perfectly suitable. Conveniently located and near numerous restaurants, grocery stores and the like. Traffic noise is a bit loud, not surprising considering the closeness to the Interstate but it wasn’t unbearable.

This was a pit stop on our travels. Highly recommend this KOA. Lots of amenities, clean, friendly staff. Also, you can order dinner which is great after a long day of traveling.

The overnight sites in the front of the park were EXTREMELY close together. Our slide was so close to the neighbors slide i could practically read their computer screen through the window. The grass between the buddy site was in need of mowing. The first impression of the whole park was that of being unkempt.

We have kids and grandkids in Weatherford so, it’s located conveniently. The park is clean and quiet! We will be back!

We only stayed one night but it is convenient to the interstate and many places to eat, also only a few miles from several points of interest.

When we started to dump the wonderful browness came right back up the pipe and back into our hose and on the ground. I get it, people run over these pipes and it looked fine but wasn't. It was OK for one night.

Very old and crowded. Very little space between sites. Bathroom dirty and parts were not working. Site we were given was very small and covered with pug mix (very fine sand with concrete mix) which was impossible to keep out of Class C. Dog walk looked like it had not been cleaned or mowed in months, trash can overflowing. I believe this park should be remodeled. It could become much better.

We were thankful for the accommodations. Large areas, fence dog park. Very easy to get to and from the highway.

Very nice sites with plenty of room. Great open area for the dogs to explore. Convenient location from which to explore this part of Texas. Weatherford itself has a lot to explore. We love the way these Texas Towns have preserved their history.

Had a short but fun visit there while visiting my children in Granbury. A storm came up quickly but turned out to be strong wind. Over all everything was nice, clean and the hosts were very accommodating.

The sites are very tiny. And the rules state that you can’t park on the grass, but our neighbor did. His truck was parked crossways at our front door.

It was great. We arrived late but had typed it in when making reservations online, the clerk left out envelope with a map and instructions. The tent grounds light was on for us to find it in the dar. The bathrooms, showers and camp grounds were clean and enjoyable. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Very well maintained park The repair shop at the entrance is a REAL plus. We discovered a major leak when we attached the water that had to be repaired before we we could set up. They had the leak repaired within an hour, so we were set up before dark. GREAT!!

There are several good things about an overnight stay here. 1. The people are wonderful and accommodated our last minute delay of a day due to weather. 2. The dog run and huge grassy areas are great for dogs. 3. The Mexican restaurant nearby is excellent and worth showering. We did takeout. On the downside: A. Close to highway noise. B. We had a good stay at the KOA in Weatherford Texas. We had some issue with the wi-fi but otherwise all worked well.

The gravel drive and parking areas are difficult to walk across. The bathrooms are adequate but not ADA compliant. The bathroom sinks are cute little sinks in the shape of Texas, not easy to use and keep the counter or your clothes dry. It’s an ok place to overbite but that’s about it.

There is nothing to do here and tent spots are completely exposed and just dumped in a cleared out area. Not worth 35 a night, much better off going 20 miles away to mineral wells lake and making the drive if you must go to weatherford for any reason.

From what I understand, the park is under new ownership, and it's definitely for the better! The new roads and ongoing construction in the back didn't hinder my stay much due to the minimal impact from the rain. The management team was incredibly helpful and kind, making me feel welcome throughout my visit. I'll certainly be returning.
