Nice park and convenient to the interstate for a nights stay.

We were there for only one night, but we enjoyed the stay. Our sight was so level, we didn't need any of our leveling devices. The pool was refreshing after a long day on the road. The water was invegerating! (brrr) If we are ever traveling across Kansas along I-70, we'd stay here again.

Internet (WiFi) connection very unstable. After being on the road for a week, a good Internet connection is as important as electric, water, and sewer. Fix the WiFi, you’ll get 5 stars

Really nice campground It is a Journey, and has gravel sites, close to the freeway but has the absolute best hookups for a Motorhomes pulling. The were thoughtfully designed. They would work as well for those pulling trailers. Very clean grounds and restrooms. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great couple of acres for trhe dog to smell as well. Super for overnight stay!!!

Our one-night stay met our needs well. Everything worked well. In addition to a grassy fenced dog area, there was tons of grass to walk and run dogs.

Great place for an in route one night stop. Folks that ran it communicated via text during the stay letting us know about their ice cream social after dinner and their breakfast for the next morning. Loved that…and we did both!

Just passing through and only spent one night. Was very impressed by the friendly and outgoing owners. Was also impressed by the cleanliness and upkeep of the park.

We had a wonderful stay here. Very clean campgrounds and the bathrooms and showers where spotless. Layton, Sherri, and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. This campground is very kid friendly with a nice playground and clean pool. It is also very pet friendly with a fenced in dog park that was very clean. My family and I will definitely be staying again.

The owners are super nice. The park is not set up for big rigs to pull out. If the entire park was full you would not be able to get out safely.

Hidden gem. We had a great stay in our 45' 5th wheel, no issues with pulling in or out. Easy set up. The facilities were really well kept and everything appeared to be new. The pool was one of the best features. We will definitely stop in again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Several activities to choose from. Well maintained. Easy in/out. Next to the interstate. Was noisy during the day, but didn’t hear any trucks during the night.

New owners John and Darla are fabulous. We came in at last minute, and John stayed to be sure he could fit us in a space. Then we didn't have anything to drink, so he re-opened the store after hours so we could get something. Campground was immaculate and I wish we could have stayed more than 1 night to check out all of the upgrades and changes they have made. Definitely will return in future!

Very good place to stay. Weather was looking bad and staff kept clients up to date on the conditions with texts. Very thoughtful. Staff very friendly and helpful.

This was by far one of the nicest KOAs we’ve stayed at. Nice clean pool with good shade. Great ambiance. Very surprised it was a journey KOA. Not a out of shade at sites. Very nice folks working there.

Beautiful, beautiful Kampground!! Although we only stayed one night, I would recommend Wakeeney KOA to EVERYONE! Staff very welcoming, grounds are very clean!

Staff was very kind and even gave me some tape to help me cover up my exhaust fan vent bc the lid flew off somewhere in Kansas and a big storm was rolling through. Go blazers!

We stay here on our way to and from Colorado so we have stayed here a few times. It has always been a nice campground but Darla and her husband and other family members who recently bought the campground are making improvements and making it an even better place to stay. They are very friendly and outgoing folks with a lot of knowledge of the area Look forward to our next visit to WaKeeney KOA.

Nice park. Only problem was the cable TV, too fuzzy to watch, audio full of static, seemed to be picking up people on CB radio nearby.

We stop here to overnight often on our way to Salina. The owners are fairly new and have done little things that add to the stay. They have Ice Cream between 6:00-7:00 with proceeds going to local children s charity. It’s a nice little social event. The lobby is beautiful with new touches like string lights. Great service!

A nice nights stay just off the interstate… a little noisy from traffic but the pool was wonderful at the end of a long hot day of driving.

We stop here every year on our way to and from Colorado. Well kept park, excellent pool area, and great staff. Park is clean and well attended. Showers and Laundry room are clean and well looked after as well. Gas Stations close by and easy exit and entrance onto I-70.

While returning home on a road trip to Key West from Colorado in early April 2022, we stayed at this KOA for 1 night. The wind was blowing gangbusters making driving very challenging on the interstate, so we decided to stop here. The staff was friendly. The restrooms clean and warm and the showers hot. The location is right next to I-70, but the traffic noise wasn't too bad.
