General Campground Information

Pet Policy

We welcome pets in our pet-friendly cabin. We do ask that you abide by the following simple rules: Your pet must be well-behaved. No matter what breed of pet you have, if your pet is hostile or aggressive towards people or other pets, you and your fur baby will be asked to leave. Your pet must be kept on a leash in the campground and we ask you to please clean up after your pets. Your pet must also not be left unattended. More than 3 pets in the Camping Cabin will incur an additional pet charge. Our campground upholds the highest standards of safety and cleanliness and we appreciate you helping us keep those standards.

Guest Responsibility

Gust acknowledges that they wish to utilize and enjoy the premises known as WaKeeney KOA Journey and its natural surroundings, including outside activities (swimming pool) and the use of any equipment, shelter, or other facilities (tents, cabins, playground equipment and grills) that can be hazardous. They are also aware that natural occurrences (lightning, high winds, tornadoes, and rainstorms) and wildlife can be unpredictable and dangerous, and consuming animals, vegetation, water, and other substances found on or around the Premises can be harmful. Guest acknowledges that they have read and will further agree to abide by any rules or regulations and to follow any guidelines or instructions that the owners of the Premises may provide orally or in writing. Guests hereby assume all risks of injury, loss of life, and damage to persons or property (including pets). Guest will further release, indemnify, and hold harmless the owners of the premises, including without limitation WaKeeney KOA Journey, as well as their owners and employees, from and against any and all liabilities, claims, demands, costs, losses, expenses, or compensation of whatever nature in connection with any loss, damage, or injuries to persons and property caused or sustained by guest, members of their family, their guests, or pets. Guest assumes all risks and responsibilities for the safety and well-being of such minor child(ren) and any other adult in my party and, as confirmed by their reservation, is entering into this Liability Waiver and Indemnity on behalf of such minor child(ren) and other adults.

Check-In/Check-Out Times:

Check-In • RV & Tent -1:00 PM • Cabin – 1:00 PM
Check-Out • RV & Tent -11:00 AM • Cabin – 11:00 AM

Pool Hours:

Memorial Weekend through Labor Day Weekend - open 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.  Sometimes we keep the pool open longer if the weather is still hot.

Quite Hours:

10:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Campfire Policy:

Due to weather conditions and severe drought, we do not allow open wood burning fires.

Current Visitor Policy:

Day visitors are welcome.  Limit 6 total guests/visitors on a site.
