Check in was NOT my favorite. Both ladies were honestly pretty rude to me. Park itself- restrooms were cleaned regularly, loved the fact that there was a doggy area and off leash dog area, didn’t utilize pool, access to basketball court and ball were nice, grassy tent areas are awesome. Downsides-so many stray cats, under the cabins, wandering around everywhere

Drove in after dark and left before dawn, so we didn’t see much but it worked for the night!

We were a late check in and got site P6. At the entry of the campsite between the car and the grass there is a big gopher hole. Since it was dark, we couldn't see very well and step in the hole. It was a shock and situation could have been bad like twisting my ankle. This should get fix! We pay extra for electricity, but the outlet did not work so no power to blow up our air mattress,please refund

Tent site location consistently smelled like cat food. Restrooms were clean. Laundry payment is through an app which allows you to keep track of time left on machines.

Highway noise from the street passing by our tent site was terrible. I had trouble sleeping because of it.

Pool was nice. Secondary restroom was very dirty. They charge by the person after 2 people and not by the tent. Showers were great. They had cool looking cabins. Might get one next time.

It's was way to HOT! 108° in July. There was NO shade for us to get some relief from the sun's heat. The pool was warm so it really was refreshing. Although, the bathrooms and showers were very clean and the hosts were very pleasant

Roach infestation! Tent site was simple but all we needed. After dark we lit a small campfire in the firebox provided. Very quickly we noticed the feral cats, one walking the fence line by the dumpster, another pouncing in the grass. We thought they were playing until we saw the roaches running under our feet. Constant movement. One finally crawled up my campstool, up my back.

I had never stayed at a KOA campground for the purpose of tent camping. My experience at Visalia was top notch. It was very clean. Staff were extremely helpful. Facilities were great. The showers were clean the restrooms were clean. There were no bugs or insects in the campsites. And everything that was offered was as promised on the website. I will be returning to the KOA campgrounds

The bathrooms didn’t have a code to get into, which concerned the family. The tent camp area without power, was to close to roadway and shout be moved to better area. The place was a good place, just a a few concerns and suggestions.

We were tent camping and y’all were very accommodating on changing our tent site to a little closer to the bathrooms. It was quiet and peaceful, showers could use a bench or something to put things on.

This is by far the worst campground I have ever stayed in! I've stayed at several KOA's and I cannot believe that KOA let them put their name on this campsite. Our "deluxe" cabin was filled with cobwebs, spiders, cockroaches, spindly steps going up to the cabin...just horrible. Even my 8 year old grandson said, "Nana, this place is disgusting." Don't be fooled by the pictures on the website.

We had a great time. It was so quiet and peaceful. We look forward to staying there again soon. I would recommend this campground to anyone. The young lady who works the desk is amazing also. She was so friendly and helpful

There's a berry tree near the pool!!! That alone sold me and my boyfriend. We didn't get to choose our tent site as we checked in after the office closed at 7 PM. But we were grateful to have received a tent site that had a tree for shade. My boyfriend could not get over the fact that the bathrooms were so clean. We have booked many campsites throughout lower part of California. Loved our stay!

The tent site with electricity was very nice and the park is nice but the women's bathroom was gross. The last stall was plugged up and it really needs some effort put into it and needs to be updated. Otherwise, the park is fine and convenient. Check-in after hours was easy.

The KOA & staff are wonderful, but my stay was horrible due to a broken inflator for my air mattress, so I had to sleep on the ground one night, and I forgot my little carpet which would’ve helped some for comfort. Just wish I could’ve had a more pleasant memory at one of my favorite childhood places (KOA). Friends at a different spot let me stay the last night in their trailer/cabin.

Had a good stay. Area was quiet, no loud music or people being loud. Everyone observed and abided by regulations. I will definitely stay here again. Staff very friendly and considerate. Dog friendly, has small area for furry pals. To be very clear this, is not the Sequoia National Park, this is a KOA campgroud, the park itself is further East,If you're reading this review, go stay a night or two.

I really enjoyed my stay and will be booking again. The bathrooms could really use a deep clean and as a tent camper I would appreciate some signage around the tent areas reminding other campers that this area is not for dogs to poo. Thanks

For tent camping, one of the worst places. No weather pad/dry space for a tent. No shaded or covered areas. At one point, the water went out so no bathrooms or showers. I’ve tent camped at over 20 KOA’s across the country and this one was the worst. Better to stay at a public campground for half the price and same amenities.

Park is very loud. I barely slept because of the noise. Lots of dogs that live there with permanent residents. The freeway noise and lots of trains. Park attendants are very nice and try to keep it clean. Restrooms need upgrading and water pressure is awful. Campground needs a little love but attendants were great.

The cabins look adorable and I'd stay in those before I'd pitch a tent again. There are railroad tracks nearby so the trains go by in the night and the occasional scent of cattle (or something) nearby made me wish I was inside an actual building rather than a tent. The restroom/showers need some updating but it seems that those things are reflected in the price so it's still not a bad deal.

We only stayed for one night and stayed on tent site (F8) w/electric. We hope to return very soon. Beautiful park, lots of amenities, good general store selection and very pet friendly with lots of nice dog walking spaces including an off leash dog run area. Super friendly and helpful staff. Security was visably present. Clean and well maintained property and bathrooms that get cleaned regularly.

Great folks running the grounds - clean and well maintained. A little more shade in the tenting area would be good - but planting trees might take a while. A little bit of street traffic noise and a train passes thru, but I didn't find either to be too much of a problem (not a light sleeper tho) I would stay here again i fI am traveling thru the area

Very very loud music until early morning and then there was drilling(?). Motorcyclists in the campground revved engines at 6am so not a great wake up. There were also roaches but it's not like that's really anyone's fault. Was more annoyed by the loud music. May not have been coming from inside the campground so it may not have been controllable but still annoying. I think it's just bad location

It was great. Staff was very helpful and kind. Only issues I had was the tent sites are too close together. I probably won't come back to tent camp for that reason. But we will check out the cabins. Please space out your tent sites.

Great location - easy off the freeway. All the sites have a lot of grass which was nice as we just came from an Arizona trip where there wasn't any grass!. Nice pull thru sites and the dog run was big and it also had grass. Well maintained. There is a train that was nearby and two trains went through but other than that it was very quiet.

Site was a little short for our 44 ft 5th wheel and truck. Luckily, the site beside us was empty so we parked there. Just a 45 minute drive to the AMAZING Kings Canyon & Sequoia National parks.
