RV Reviews

Sites were easily accessible and well kept. The park was neat and clean.

Nice pool. Showers were good in office bathroom. Level sites with mature trees. Campground needs improved maintenance ie. landscaping, fence repair, painting, weeding. Trees could be trimmed for big rigs. (Site 56) Friendly staff. Clean campstore.

The people working here are very nice...... however this is by far the most rundown camp grounds we have ever stayed. we stayed twice in two weeks while traveling to and from Oregon and it will be our last time here.

Smelled like garbage from dumpster.. very unwelcoming rv park

It was very nice

Quiet, clean and peaceful. Very accommodating when we wanted to extend our stay. Easy on and off freeway.

Average to dated campground however with a very kind staff. At night our site full of cockroaches coming from holes in the ground, pest control suggested. Not exactly a campground to remember. Sorry.

Open ground first site. Dusty, gravel, stayed at better KOA's

Made reservation for 5th wheel and electrical hookup only provided 30 amp, not 50 amp. Two legs of 120 volts going to power tower - only one provided 120; the other barely 130. Laundry room machines need fixed/replaced. The only reason I would recommend this KOA is location close to the Sequoias.

Location is in a residential area a couple of miles away from the freeway = quite! Level gravel pull through with roads wide enough for a big rig towing.

Gorgeous sites with a lot of privacy, tons of activities, very friendly staff.

Staff was all very kind and made fresh coffee in the mornings. The park is a little run down but we stayed in our camper. The only thing we used was the laundry room. It is open 24/7 but only if you have a card from the front desk that you add money to before you can start your laundry so pay attention to the front desk hours. Location was right off the highway.

Super easy check in and check out, all utilities worked well, and camp store helped with anything we missed. Staff were pleasant and informative. My children loved playing in pool and camp showers were super convenient. Grounds were fine and pictures accurate.

CLean, quiet, orderly

Nothing special. Clean and all utilities worked as needed. Dirt pad for RV. Tree limb was in the way for awning to open fully.misleading to saying it is the gateway to Sequoia National Park. At least an hour away. Park is old, but okay for a couple of nights. Several “long termer’s” in tents which detracted from the overall park ambiance. Lots of kids which is fine, but be advised.

OK campground - good dog space allowing pets to run and burn off energy. Wi-fi is terrible.
Jun 26, 2022
Very nice everyone there was very friendly and helpful. The restrooms and grounds were clean.

Fairly basic and issue with wi-fi

Great time. Just a FYI... had to rake up bottle caps, pieces of trash from prior campers. A little sign by the electrical plug in to remind folks of honor system is just a suggestion. It's the 'give-back' philosophy! But we loved staying with you and will continue as we venture north every 3-4 months.

Some long term campers that were not very tidy or well kept.

Our go-to camp on our way to/ from frequent visits to Chico CA. Love the friendly staff and convenient location.
Jun 21, 2022
Lots of large shade trees throughout the camp. Easy access to the pool and showers although the office does close a little earlier than some KOA's.

First a lot of bugs and ants, so glad we sprayed around our rig. Our e-bike was stolen off the back of rig, cut thru 2 locks. Went to office they said sorry we will call Sheriff. Sheriff came, no follow up from koa office. I got the feeling this was not first time. Have to pay and get special card from office to do laundry. Never going back.

Nice park, nice small pool, and friendly staff. I just can't give a positive rating to a Campground that has shared bathrooms/showers! One room with 2 sinks, 2 stalls, and 2 showers shared by men AND women. The doors didn't even go all the way to the floor - sorry but NOT acceptable. Didn't see why since there were 2 of these communal building, why they couldn't have been designated by gender.

The kids and Grandkids enjoyed the pool, the only down fall on this park is the grass or should I say almost grass had burrs in it and was not comfortable for the dogs. If you stepped on them it hurt. Our picnic table needed some repairs as well. We visited Sequoia National Park. A bit of a drive there but worked out for us.

the sites had ample space, the pool was nice. The other amenities that were noted would have been nice if they were in working order. The rec room seemed out of order. Also it doesn't seem that the grassy areas had been mowed in a while. The check in was smooth and easy. We appreciated the early checkout as we had to cut our trip a day short.

Short stay overnight but found the park to be easily accessible, clean, with level pull-through spaces. Office help very cordial with reserving and checking in prior to arrival.

3 1/2 stars. Staff was very friendly. Office bathrooms were clean but could be updated. The other “bath house” showers were moldy. Easy access from highway. We heard neighborhood noises at night. Best for RVs and trailers. Not tents.

Heather was extremely helpful, from helping with the laundry to suggesting a great burger place near by. She made our stay awesome! Amenities were clean and so was the park!

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Facilities all good.

Very clean, nice dog area and friendly staff.

Dirty, dusty, no shade, and no wifi. Should have cable tv.
Jun 13, 2022
Nice staff. Good facilities.

This was "okay" for a stop over, but I wouldn't recommend for a long stay. It could use some TLC. The grass had burrs and foxtails that was not good for our dog. The personnel were nice.

Nice park close to attractions
Jun 12, 2022
Gravel lots and roads led to a very dusty and dry stay. Park was unkept throughout. "Dog park" was a small dirt lot. Very disappointed. Should not be a "KOA". Anyone from KOA mgmt listening??

We have stayed at this koa 4 times in the last year. Always been greeted warmly. Accommodated our needs. Staff are great. Don’t know why there bad reviews. Haven’t had any issues.
Jun 09, 2022
The site itself was acceptable however the services left a lot to be desired. The wi-fi was not working unless you sat in the main office and even then it was slow and dropped in and out. Also the cable tv at the sites was not working. Finally when the office was asked about it they did not seem concerned that neither the wi-fi or cable tv were working.
Jun 08, 2022
Upon arrival on Sunday afternoon the office was closed and it was set up as night registration however are information was available. Game room was closed. We also had trouble with the cable being all with a grainy picture on the TV. We did not report this to the staff. The staff when we did see them was very friendly and helpful. If going to Sequoia National Park the Fresno entrance is better.

Lovely hosts and a nice park. Trees great as it was mega hot whilst we were there.
Jun 07, 2022
Stayed 3 weeks. Not bad. Close to the national parks and the staff is friendly. The grounds could use some maintenance (large holes in the lawn, potholes around campground, and roaches come out at night in the grass). I would stay again, but am concerned about the roaches, to be honest. Had good connectivity (we have Verizon and AT&T). Campground wifi is tough to connect to so it's negligible.

Having stayed at many KOA’s on the west (and loving all those experiences, this KOA is not worth the nightly rate.

Perfect place to syay to see Sequoia National Park, and the General Sherman Sequoia. Wow what an expereience. In addition to the trees (unique in the world), the drive up the moutains and lookouts are unbelievable. Worth pulling on ones bucket list.
