Really nice campground especially for a Journey! Pool was very nice, bathroom at the pool was clean and spacious. Brian went above and beyond to answer our questions. Beautiful plants on the grounds!

The pool is amazing- perfect for a hot day. Nice and quiet campground. A little run-down compared to other KOAs and more long-term rentals than I was expecting. But everything was clean and the staff was friendly.

We enjoyed the pool, and the 24-hour laundry services. I like the online laundry payment options, but I don't like how I can only upload a certain amount and now I have money sitting somewhere that I can spend or is just wasted.

The cabin was very clean and comfy and the park was exceptionally well-maintained, with thoughtful amenities.

Arrived late to the campsite maybe around 10:30pm. Got out of my vehicle and immediately saw roaches roaming around. Near the dump site there were swarms of roaches. Our site was somewhat near there so I thought maybe it was just our area. Nope. My cousin was closer to the office and there were roaches there too. For a premium $90/night 100% not recommended.

Good overall, but they have permanent long term residents, never seen that at other KOAs before, left some fishing rods against my RV one night and they got stolen. Never had any issues at any campsite ever with theft until this stay.

It was ok, but very noisy around the 4th of July with people inside the KOA shooting off fireworks. We were near a main dirt road and no one observed the 5 mph speed limit. We’d be outside eating our dinner and people would fly by in their cars and blow dirt on our dinner. And lastly, they have a bad gopher problem, almost twisted my ankle a time or two. Shower was dirty too.

Nice facility, closer to Sequoia NP, and somewhat closer to Kings Canyon NP and an easy location with access. Wifi didn't work at all, bummer when we stayed for 5 nights and I had to work on and off. Staff checked and said everything looked good from their point of view, but it wasn't. We had to use mobile network.

The host, Brian, was very nice. The new bathrooms were very nice, and the park was very clean. We will stay there again next time we are in that area.

We enjoyed our time at Visalia/Sequoia National Park KOA, and its park-like setting that was so close to Visalia's restaurants and amenities. Staff was friendly and attentive, and I appreciate that the owner went out of her way to identify a veterinarian recommendation when we had to seek unexpected vet care. Laundry facility on site was clean/convenient. We'd definitely stay here again!

Easy access to get in and out, and accommodating for out extra vehicles (boat and truck) we use this stop as a between stopping point.

This park has a lot of permanent, tarp covered RV’s with residents that made me uncomfortable to the point that I wouldn’t let my teenage daughter go to the restrooms alone. I understand the need to have long term income, one long term residents stared at my 14 year old to the point that I was very un comfortable. They need to decide if they want higher paying tourists or long term creepers.

Well maintained, quiet laid back resort with friendly accommodating staff. Ckean facilities and remarkable close to national parks. After days of hiking a great place to relax by pool and unwind.

We stayed at 6 different KOA's on our trip and the people here were the nicest. Everyone we talked to was helpful and extremely nice. I would 100% stay again just because of the people!!

From check in to check out, we found this KOA to fit all our needs and help in any way they could. I noticed clean bathrooms, the pool being cleaned every morning, a dog park area for those with pets. The grounds were kept clean and tidy. If I had any questions, I had a great source to help make our visit to the area wonderful. I would definitely come back here again! Thank you!!

It was very hot and the receptionist was so wonderful she put us in the most shady spot that was available I definitely will recommend this camp ground to everyone who is looking for a great place to camp

The park staff were very helpful and pleasant to work with. we stayed there on Saturday and Sunday nights, there was a very loud party on Saturday night, with music and fireworks until past 2:00AM!! The dog walk area was far away from our site, but the smell was very strong. The mens restroom was clean, but in desperate need of an exhaust fan. Also, the grass needed to be cut.

The staff was Excellent but the camp grounds itself needs some attention. We closed our windows at night because of the odors from the dog park. Ants in our common area on the picnic table and our trailer. Bathrooms definitely showing old age. One toilet in men’s room? Again the staff was great but the actual KOA itself needs to have some additional attention. We will bypass this KOA. Thanks

The campground is clean and generally well maintained. My site was within an inch of level side to side. Camp ground was quiet but the neighbors could get quite loud with music during the day. They quieted down by 12pm. Restroom/showers are a bit dated. Water pressure was decent. Shower curtain was stained/little bit of mold. Handle was also moldy inside. Could use more hooks to hang clothes.

Although the park was relatively clean, staff was very nice..location not great but a good stop over. They need to change out their washer and dryers to a different pay system.. you have to download an app and then put $25 on it to do two loads of laundry and then figure out how to get refunded as a pain special for people that are retired and traveling they don’t need that headache..

If you have a dog, this is not for you. The property (even the camp sites) is filled with weeds and painful burrs that stick in your pup's paws. After a long drive, exacerbated by getting stuck in a major traffic jam, we pulled up after 6pm. The staff person was standing outside, looking at us, and pointing emphatically at her watch. That effort to shame us didn't make us feel welcomed.

As you already know, you are in a terrible location with industrial noise all night long. The yard light at the end of the tent camping is too frickin bright for those staying right there which we were (f10). You did not enforce quiet hours as a group of 30 people were our neighbors. Why weren't they in a group area? Overall not a good experience.

I stayed at the Visalia/Sequoia National Park KOA Journey from July 2025 through October 1, 2026 and had a great experience. Compared with other RV parks I've stayed at or visited, this location offers some excellent amenities, including a swimming pool, dog park, large restroom/shower facility, and a laundry room with four washers and four dryers. The park has plenty of space, and the layout is simple and easy to navigate. The staff was one of the best parts of my experience. I had many conversations with Brian, Dale, Luis, and Megan, and they were always polite, respectful, and helpful. I never had any major issues during my stay. The park is a little more expensive than some other RV parks, but I believe the amenities and overall experience make the additional cost worth it. After staying here for more than a year, I would definitely highly recommend the Visalia KOA for both short-term travelers and long-term guests. Thank you to Visalia KOA for a great stay!
