Staff always pleasant. Would really little to see dog park enlarged and better maintenance of existing one. Dead grass throughout. Park fences could use a coat of paint.

It was a glorified parking lot infested with roaches. We has to spray our campsite with bug spray . We are loyal koa customers and this was by far the worst. Would not recommend.

A nice, quiet (except for nearby businesses can be loud), simple KOA, level & easy hook-ups, nice shade trees, close to Visalia & easy drive to Sequoia/Kings Cyns - a definite must! Nice pool & laundry; didn’t ck out the RR/showers, but know they were available. Thank you Dale & Megan in the office!

I was given either a tent spot with no sun (under a tree) or next to a very busy street. I selected under the tree. The street was non stop noice all night and it ruined a day of my vacation because I found not sleep. I am going to post this on Yelp and others to ensure people don’t end up in the same situation as me. I know you will come back and say I should have selected the other option.

It was very nice. We showed up after they closed. They had a sign up board with open sites to choose from filled out the envelope parked for the night left before they opened. No problem. They emailed me a receipt later that day. We had stopped at another private rv place and they had no provision for after hours arrival without reservations.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Campground needs some TLC, but was adequate for a Journey location. About an hour from Sequoia National Park. Roads in campground were kind of tight for our Class A 44’ motorhome. Pool was decent. WiFi was good. Hookups were good.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and quiet. The Kamp host was absolutely amazing and offered assistance several times after office hours. We plan on staying here again next time we visit!

Good showers. Bathroom needs more cleaning. Very level site and easy check-in. Deferred maintenance onsite.

Even though I called on minutes before their closing, they answered the phone and they took my reservation. The gentleman was helpful and very friendly. I was so happy to hear a friendly voice because I was so road wary. Great spacious tent sites. And the dumpster was a long way from the sites. A wonderful thing when it is so hot and dumpsters are extra stinky. I would definitely stay again.

The host was very kind and accommodating. The 30 amp socket was so worn out for my van's service, I had to secure it from falling out several times. I was too tired to move to a different spot. Not under the hosts control, but the area definitely smelled like cattle.

Our family stayed in the deluxe cabin, and had a wonderful experience. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and our family loved the use of the stove and porch to make and eat meals. My children enjoyed the swing set at the playground, and the whole family absolutely LOVED the pool.

The staff was very nice, check in was a breeze and they gave us advanced warning of the street light so we could position our tent in the best way, the pool was clean, and the option to do laundry is always appreciated.

Nice park. We made a trip to both Sequoia and Yosemite national parks from this location. Great laundry as well.

Very sweet at check in, pool was great, with tables and umbrellas for shade made the 110 degree temperature bearable. The whole vibe was good & peaceful.

park is older and is in need of upgrades. Gravel sites are worn. Electrical hook up needs up to code repairs (B7) Hard to justify the high rate for what it is

Convenient location and very friendly staff. Only downside was that our site had a lot of goat head sticker plants. Horrible things that get tracked everywhere and you do not want to step on them with bare feet!

This stay was my family’s first time in a KOA campground and camping in general. And I have to say, overall, it was a great over-night experience! Even though we arrived after-hours, there were friendly campers who made the check-in process easy. It was a convenient location after visiting Sequioa NP.

Campground is close to the fwy if you’re staying here as a layover. Staff is very friendly. They also have a little convenience store. Easy hookups, along with an optional shower and restroom that is kept very clean.

The campground is in a great location, and all its facilities are very good. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that we were charged $25 for arriving about an hour before check-in time, and although I agreed to pay it, I found it unnecessary and somewhat unwelcoming. We are on a tour through the USA and we have arrived early at several campgrounds on our trip so far, and no-one else charged us.

Camp ground poorly maintained, camp ground store was pretty pathetic nothing in the store really. Pool water was not really clear.

The KOA staff was wonderful to walk us thru the after-hours check-in process by phone and helped us with a convenient tent location. The location was clean and organized like other KOAs we have been to. My only recommendation would be to have a few more trees at the tent camping locations to offer more shade during hot summer months.

Front office person was not friendly. Also should have mowed the sites. They were not in good shape. Also, the people that were behind us that their dogs poop in our area and loud music and nobody controlled it.

I stayed at the Visalia/Sequoia National Park KOA Journey from July 2025 through October 1, 2026 and had a great experience. Compared with other RV parks I've stayed at or visited, this location offers some excellent amenities, including a swimming pool, dog park, large restroom/shower facility, and a laundry room with four washers and four dryers. The park has plenty of space, and the layout is simple and easy to navigate. The staff was one of the best parts of my experience. I had many conversations with Brian, Dale, Luis, and Megan, and they were always polite, respectful, and helpful. I never had any major issues during my stay. The park is a little more expensive than some other RV parks, but I believe the amenities and overall experience make the additional cost worth it. After staying here for more than a year, I would definitely highly recommend the Visalia KOA for both short-term travelers and long-term guests. Thank you to Visalia KOA for a great stay!
