Pool open. With temperatures in the high nineties, what a relief. Office staff helpful and friendly. Pretty mellow park during our stay. Gravel sites. Utilities functional. RVs limited to full hookups.

old campsite, the amenities were dirty and old. we can really see there is no effort on maintaining a proper clean up to date campsite. apologies for the bad review

Staff was friendly and helpful! Cabin was great! Pool and morning coffee was nice. Was a little disappointed it wasn't lovated more in nature with its title, (neighborhood has built up around it, so theres local traffic/neighborhood noise) But location to 3 Rivers, national park and markets were good! ( crazy access to Nature even though it's not situated in it)

Very clean bathroom and laundry.

Excellent location to visit national park. A bit pricey been gone from home 5 weeks. This is the most expensive campground. We have averaged $32/ night this was $79 for night. We had two hotels stays that were almost less than this KOA. We have been by national parks the whole time.

Very friendly and accommodating when we arrived early. Spot was long and level. Great spot to explore sequoia national park!

We have been coming there for years and it has always been clean and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. We weren’t expecting the 100 degree weather in October though, but the a/c worked well. Will be coming back again. Keep up the good work!!!

Spacious sites, clean and friendly staff.

Everything was good. Staff was friendly and kind. We were happy that the pool was open! The shower house was new and clean.

The campground is well located for visiting Sequoia NP. Our campsite was shaded and roomy enough to set up our screen house for shade. The pool was delightful and we really appreciated it, since it reached 104 degrees. The two things we were disappointed in were the laundry and bathrooms. You need to have at least one washer and dryer that are coin operated and upgrade to individual bathrooms.

I stayed at the Visalia KOA from July 2025 to October 2026 and had a great experience. I loved having the pool, dog park, and laundry room on site. Brian, Dale, Luis, and Megan were always kind, respectful, and helpful. It costs a little more than some parks, but the amenities make it worth it. Highly recommended!

The people are nice but the campground and area is very dusty. Air quality isn’t very good.

Nice camp ground for our 45’ motorhome. Plenty of space making it easy to get in and out.

Older park that could use some updating. Highly rates are very high for what it is

The cabin was very clean. The mattresses were thin and uncomfortable. If we were to stay here again we would have to bring mattress topper. The campground was nice and clean. Owner and employees very accommodating and friendly.

Had issues with the plug in the power pedestal, they were very nice trying to fix it but we lost power intermittently throughout the night over 2 nights

Truly a KOA Journey. Convenient location to visit Sequoia National Park. An Industrial Park has built up around it but that was no problem. We heard street noise. Office staff friendly. Owner lives on site.

Bathroom need maintenance. Staff is friendly, stores had nice items in addition to some food and beverages. Pool was great. Site was level and clean. Some of the permanent resident sites needed to be cleaned up.

Very clean and convenient for National Parks. Friendly staff. One nice improvement would be to asphalt the roads in the park to cut down on dust.

Level, grasses sites in a quiet residential area.

Nice park for easy in and out. Spots are mostly level because they are gravel. Not too busy or loud from adjoining streets. Office staff was great. Recommendations from him made for a great one day outing in the area to Sequoia and Kings Canyon.

Nice place for a stopover, clean facilities, easy access to freeway.
Sep 21, 2026
The campground and facilities are clean and well maintained. Very accessible by all the major highways. However, the location in the middle of a residential neighborhood is very inconvenient. For campers in tent as opposed to RV's or Cottage, the nearby highway and railway track (literally had trains blaring horn at 2 AM in the morning) make it impossible to get good night's sleep.

Nice Journey. Pretty far from highway so not much road noise. Pool was great - large and deep. Pricing was in line with most KOA Journey campgrounds. I little too far from Sequoia for day trips but I would stay again if in the area.

Very convenient close to Sequoia campgrounds are neat and clean. Staff is very friendly. Definitely recommended and definitely would come back.

Just a bit noisy at tent sites. But everything else is great!

The campground is in a residential neighborhood , not super easy to get to with a Motorhome. There were some RVs there that were in really bad shape, obviously permanent residents. It was conveniently located to get to the national parks, but I’m not sure we would stay there again.

The staff was professional, helpful and friendly.

The staff was very helpful. We had some trouble and they went over and above to help us. I do think the pool should have been opened earlier and stayed open later.

Friendly staff and well maintained campground. Would stay here again

I stayed at the Visalia/Sequoia National Park KOA Journey from July 2025 through October 1, 2026 and had a great experience. Compared with other RV parks I've stayed at or visited, this location offers some excellent amenities, including a swimming pool, dog park, large restroom/shower facility, and a laundry room with four washers and four dryers. The park has plenty of space, and the layout is simple and easy to navigate. The staff was one of the best parts of my experience. I had many conversations with Brian, Dale, Luis, and Megan, and they were always polite, respectful, and helpful. I never had any major issues during my stay. The park is a little more expensive than some other RV parks, but I believe the amenities and overall experience make the additional cost worth it. After staying here for more than a year, I would definitely highly recommend the Visalia KOA for both short-term travelers and long-term guests. Thank you to Visalia KOA for a great stay!
