Memorial Day Weekend - Take time to remember the men and women who died while serving in the country's armed forces. We will have hay wagon rides and the first swim of the season if weather permits. Watch the Toledo City parade in downtown Toledo, parades in Maumee, Fremont, Sylvania, or go to the Fort Meigs Historic Site celebration in Perrysburg.
Hay Wagon Rides - Hop aboard our hay wagon, depending on the weather, and take a trip around the park! Every weekend from Memorial Day to Labor Day our KOA wagon will pick you up around 7:00 pm near the playground.
Independence Day - Celebrate the 4th of July with us. Take some family time and make memories with us. S'mores anyone? Hay wagon rides, mini golf, and some activities for the kids. March on down to the parades in many of our neighboring communities, watch the fireworks over the river or in community parks, or simply have a family cook out over our campfire rings. We can deliver firewood to your site. Remember that fireworks are not allowed in the campground.
Labor Day Weekend - Honor the American labor movement and the contributions that workers have made to the strength, prosperity, laws and well-being of the country. Hay wagon rides and the last swim of the summer. Join us for this special weekend.
Halloween Festivities October 25th through October 27th - Ghoulies and ghosties and long-leggedy beasties and things that go bump in the night!!!!!!!
Come join us for lots of family fun. Take a hay wagon ride, carve pumpkins, search the park for scavenger hunt items or enjoy a campfire on a chilly evening. Decorate your campsite and you could win a free camping night. Experience other spooky things happening as we celebrate Halloween.
Visit the 43rd Annual Quilt Show and workshops at Sauder Village. Hundreds of quilts will be on display providing a kaleidoscope of color and creativity. Meet and learn from special guest artists. Pre-register for workshops.
37th Annual Cherry Fest in Whitehouse, Ohio. It's a family-friendly event featuring activities like make-and-take arts and crafts, live music, a parade, amusement rides, a beer and wine garden and of course, lots of cherries.
The Crosby Art Festival is Ohio's oldest outdoor juried art festival. It is held at Toledo Botanical Garden set amidst the beauty of gardens and nature. It features the work of more than 200 artists from across the country. A Preview Party is held on Friday night.
The zesty taste of ribs and the sounds of classic and current music hits will be showcased this summer at the Rib Off. It will be held at the Lucas County Fairgrounds in Maumee. Entertainers include Lee Brice, Morris Day, and Michael McDonald. Sunday is family day.
Dealers from around the country offer finished jewelry, beads, gem trees, faceted stones, mineral specimens, fossils, cabochons, tools, carvings and more. Demonstrations of various lapidary techniques will happen throughout the show. A children's area is free and features games and activities as well as free mineral specimens.
