This was our first time staying during Canada Day and it was such fun. Great activities for families. Even though the campground was very busy, everything was always kept so clean and well maintained. We stayed in a Deluxe studio cabin, it was just perfect, and so clean! Nothing negative to say about our experience! Thanks to Kristie and all her staff!

Excellent stay - excellent facilities. With the existing weather conditions, the in-cabin heater was truly appreciated. Would have a preferred a single night stay but understand the need due to staffing shortages. Front desk lady gave excellent directions to downtown, chamber folks and a random couple on the waterfront expanded the info making it a really good extra day - thanks!!

The kids had a blast swimming and could have stayed in it all day. The cabin we stayed in was perfect for our family of 4. I wish the mini golf was included in the price like the last KOA we stayed at.

We have stayed in many KOA camping cabins and this KOA has it all! We fully appreciated the multiple windows for cross ventilation and a door that seals out the bugs, the fridge, the AC (or heater if needed), all the electrical outlets in spots where we could reach them to charge our electronics. The lights above the beds were nice for reading. Clean washrooms and showers are nearby.

I stayed Jun 8 & 9 in a deluxe cabin. I was very pleased as it was EXTREMELY clean. I do not like spiders and was ecstatic that I did not see one in the cabin…lol! I had fam and friends over after my son’s grad and the owner allowed them to access the park for free, as they were just coming for a quick visit (they did not access anything else in the park). 10 stars!

Very nice, peace and quiet very friendly, the hosts were very accommodating. When I booked my kabin I requested the kabin closest the the showers and bathrooms which was my usual one and to my surprise when I checked in I got it? Thank you very much.

Our family had the most enjoyable stay in one if the deluxe cabins. The kids loved the bunkers, and the pull out couch which was the setting for seemingly endless Crazy 8 card games. The amenities sufficient, and the facilities packed with family fun. The splash pad in the pool was a bonus. The best KOA we have visited, we will return. The Levak Family

We rented a cabin with a washroom. The cabin was perfect for our needs. My only complaint was there is a fire ban so we couldn’t have a fire to sit at. Otherwise the stay was great and we will do it again!

It was the perfect getaway. My 96 year old Mom has not travelled since Fall 2019. Through the pandemic she has often felt like a prisoner in her own apartment. She loved being out of her place and out of the city. Her only regret? We did not book a longer stay! We will definitely be checking in again. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at KOA Thunder Bay. Bravo!

Had an amazing time and want to book again next year. Unfortunately we booked the only weekend without scheduled kids activities but we still had lots of fun. The cabin was wonderful and clean and more than we expected. Thank you.

I really enjoyed staying in the cabin. It was clean and comfortable and having a barbeque was so nice. Our family enjoyed the challenging mini golf course and the pools. Thank you to all the helpful staff!

Everything was perfect in our deluxe cabin. Very clean and so beautiful! Loved the little touches like the extra hooks in the shower too! I highly recommend this to anyone. I even posted a video of the cabin on my social media and everyone thought the same as me, it was perfect!

The facilities were very clean and in good condition, the staff was very friendly and efficient. We stayed in a tent on our first stay and in one of the simple cabins on the way back. Both experiences were great. The cabins were clean and had AC and a small fridge, good lighting, water tap at the porch, a barbecue and table in the front. Tent site was nice, grassy and treed.

Love the cabin and the facilities they were kept very clean and the staff was very nice and friendly and my favorite was the salt water pool. PS. A dish tray would be very nice for when you wash dishes.

I rented KL2 previously it was a beautiful deluxe cabin This time I had KL1 it was not as nice but was considered a deluxe cabin It was missing amenities a couch to watch TV as the bed was in the living quarters which made it very uncomfortable as it pertained to a 70 year old to watch TV comfortably Saying that the owners are fantastic people

We have never been before but had heard many great things from people who have been. Our stay was great. The staff were friendly. The cabin we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. The pool was the highlight for our kids. The restroom and showers were also very clean. We will be back.

The activities were an added bonus. Foam party and water gun hay ride. Cabins are clean, washrooms/shower very well maintained. The fire pit in front yard was an excellent way to spend the evening after a day at the pool. Your staff and other campers are warm and welcoming. Would be nice if a small selection of adult beverages was sold in store. Nice to have a drink at the fire

We enjoyed our stay. We were disappointed that the light bulbs were burnt out on the lamp posts. It is dangerous at night going down the hill to the bathroom.

Thunder Bay KOA has to be the most professional, best maintained and cleanest campground we have ever been to!! The place clearly has "pride of ownership" written all over it. The owner/operators have evidently invested back into the campground with infrastructure and equipment. The cleanliness and attention to detail were astounding. Well done!!!

My husband and I visited mid October. We have never been to a KOA before this but our expectations for a private campsite was exceeded. There weren't many tent campers around which made it private for us. Their washroom facilities were SUPER CLEAN which is amazing for camping. They also had a camp kitchen which was nearby and that made it so easy for cleaning up after dinner. I would definitely stay here again.
