Lovely park with great amenities and awesome bathrooms/showers. Staff very helpful and friendly. Only downside is the highway and train noise. Not much can be done about that but it was loud and steady day and night.

Really nice campground. The bathrooms were awesome. Super clean, and I liked that they had music playing. I would definitely return.

The Kruper Family is Absolutely Amazing! We've been coming here since 2017 and Love It Every time! They make you feel like Family during our stay! ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING! We Love KOA Thunder Bay!!

We stayed for 2 nights on our travel out west in June and liked it so much we had to stay there on our way back in September. We could only stay one night but people were friendly and the facilities were excellent!

Clean camping, well organized. I like KOAs, despite that they are a bit overpriced. I was in a tent site with electricity. Everything was fine until around 9 o'clock P.M. Then, someone started practising drums somewhere down the hill in the camping, far, but very loud. It went on until around 1 o'clock, preventing me from sleeping. And no phone number to call to get help! -(

Great campground for all ages. There is something for everyone. The grounds are well kept, sites are well positioned and the staff are exceptional. It is a peaceful oasis where one can truly relax after a long day's drive.

All in all, the Thunder bay KOA delivered a good camping experience. Nicely spaced sites and well-maintained. The only negatives for us were the high cost of laundry $5 for both washing and drying) and an WIFI problem. Though we were parked directly under a repeater we couldn’t connect. It wasn’t fixed by the time we left, but hopefully it is by now.

Very clean, quiet and spacious campsites. The hostess was very gracious and welcoming. We loved everything about our stay!! We will definitely be back. We only wished the pool was open longer.

This is always the best campground to stay at. The owners and staff are super friendly and always go out of their way to make out stay amazing. I recommend them to everyone.

We needed internet and that was why I booked this KOA. I called the next day after arriving to tell them there was no internet. They said they would look into it. They never did. I was right beside the repeater. We needed to have internet, but we were leaving again after 2 night. Laundry was 5$ to was 5$ to dry, really. I took mine out to wash 2 loads at that price. Office landscaping will be nice

Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day/3 night stay. From our camp site to the showers, cooking/washing area and the surrounding area for things to see and do, it was all a very pleasant experience. In addition, all the staff were very friendly, personable and helpful. Would definitely recommend to everyone this KOA destination.

Kid screaming when we checked in lobby, no apology. We could not even hear our site number. Front office locked me in the shower room, had to call hubby to unlock door. Very unfriendly staff

Traveling enroute in the evening. I called ahead to make a reservation for the night. I requested a pull-through for a 35-ft fifth wheel and said services weren't necessarily required priority was easily in/out. Arrived after closing. The site was not appropriate for length. Unlevel site. Services were unreachable.

The Thunder Bay KOA staff was very nice, the campground seems like a fun place for families, nice amenities and activities. It would be nice if the washroom up further had a hair dryer for after a shower and standard hand soap dispensers instead of scented small pumps. All in all, we would come back if we were up north again and know we would enjoy our stay!

Beautifully kept park. The comfort station is A-1 lots to do if you want to perfect for one night or extended stay.

We had a very pleasant stay at Thunder Bay KOA and would happily stay here again. The campsites were spacious, and we had a full hookup 30 amp site with water and sewer connections right at the site. We were especially appreciative that the staff allowed us to switch to another available site at no extra charge so that we could have a campfire, since our original site didn't have a fire pit. All of the staff members we encountered were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the amenities, including the pool, shuffleboard, soccer field for the kids, and the inflatable jump pad. There was also a driving range, mini putt, and catch and release fishing available, which we didn't get a chance to try, but maybe next time. We had a 26 foot C26 motorhome, and the site fit it comfortably with good space around it. The bathrooms were very clean, and the showers were clean as well. Having plenty of warm to hot water was a huge plus and made our stay even more comfortable. The fire pit at our site was great, and the laundry facilities were clean and convenient. Just be sure to bring plenty of change if you plan on doing laundry. We also liked being able to choose our own firewood from the wood shed and pick the pieces we preferred. The wood was dry and easy to light, making for enjoyable evenings around the campfire. Another huge plus during our stay was that there were virtually no mosquitoes at this time of year, which made spending time outdoors even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a great experience and appreciated the friendly atmosphere, spacious sites, well maintained grounds, and excellent amenities. We would definitely recommend Thunder Bay KOA to anyone visiting the area and would happily stay here again.

Le camping est très bien et propre. Les emplacements ne sont pas tous très grands mais le nôtre était plus grand donc parfait. Attention: l'autoroute ET le chemin de fer passent très proches du camping. On entend l'autoroute en tout temps et le train siffle quand il passe. Ça surprend la 1ere fois. Le camping est très bien aménagé pour les enfants. Il y a plein d'activités. Les 2 piscines sont chauffées avec gilets, jeux, bouées. Mise à part le bruit de la route et du train (non négligeable mais pas insurmontable non plus) c'est parfait et bien situé.
