Traveling across country so we were only there for 1 night. We arrived 30 minutes early and were assessed a $5+tax early check-in fee. Park was half empty on a Wednesday. As a Journey KOA, I would have expected a bit of grace. I could understand a full hour or more, but 30 minutes? It's the last thing I needed after driving 7 hours to get there. Check-in left negative impression.

The camp ground was very clean and our site was nice. Washrooms were close and thwy had a nice pool.we did have an issue about canceling due to a family emergency and they wouldn't refund us back our money cause apparently we didnt give a weeks notice, they did eventually gives us not even half our money back for one nigjt. Bit it was a fight.

Very dusty; not your fault. Understand dirt roads. Very uneven site; quite a dip in the site. Good stop for a night.

$65 to stay in a field, without hookups, next to a drive-in showing movies till 1:30am. For boondockers, this was quite the experience....

Very well kept campground . 2 pools , a nice playground . Very nice sites . Bathrooms and showers . A lot of seasonal campers however. They kind of cluster around the pools all day long . Wifi isn’t included, you can purchase separately. Great laundry facilities. Campground has a drive in theatre right next door which is fun ! Overall , a good stay

I was disappointed in the early pool closure. A friend was charged extra night because she was struggling to pack up her tent trailer at 11 am. There were a lot of empty sites we booked a back in site- they gave us one with trees impossible to get in then charged us more for a drive thru dite

We were generally happy with this KOA. Grounds were well kept. Restrooms were clean, and up to date. My only disappointment was I had to cancel an upcoming visit due unforseen circumstances at home. I gave notice 6 days when apparently it had to be 7 days. Lost my whole deposit. Had to do the same at another KOA, and got my whole deposit back. Disappointed with Sussex!!

Good ammenities in campground, close to town however very pricy. Prices went up over the weekend even if you didn't go to the concert. Some pull-thru sites need leveling so you can pull- thru without risers for the price.

This campground showed us why it had won the President’s Award: excellent staff and maintenance crew choice of activities and nice amenities for the entire family (was particularly impressed by Christmas in July decorations and hay ride with Santa and elves!), drive-in theatre was unique, pastoral setting made a most pleasant visual background, owner was very helpful and friendly with rv care…

A lot of people and campers at this site but it was still quiet and relaxing and easy access to the bath house, swimming pool, there are at least two. East access to gas and groceries too. We could hear the drive in movie but it was too loud. A great place to stay and explore the area.

Very poor service overall for a KOA only 1 hour of free wifi than had to pay. All other KOA’s had free wifi. Could only have 1 Veh. On our site even though there was room for 2 more. I had to walk 3/4 of a km the the garbage not the best for someone with mobility issues

We drove 7 hrs to get to this KOA to be next to the road & train tracks. SO LOUD. We changed our stay to 2 nights instead of 3 - 2 weeks before. We let the owners know so they could book it out since it was the weekend of a huge concert. We found out they charged us three nights but also booked our site out on the 3rd night without a refund. They also did a sound check after 10pm. Brutal stay.

J’ai essayé d’annuler notre séjour quelques fois par courriel, au téléphone (mon fils a expliqué la situation au téléphone en anglais) notre Séjour n’a jamais été annulé, nous avons due payé le montant du séjour sans être présent. Nice spot but for that price expected to have a reasonably level site. Trains going by constantly honking horns were a little annoying.

We had an awesome weekend at the KOA. The Fundy Fest was so much fun! Everything was great with the campground; spacious site and very clean washrooms!

We stayed for a festival weekend and had a great time. Only complaint is that you can only have 2 adults on one tent site when booking for a regular weekend. The site fits a huge tent but you can only have 2 adults. If this was changed I would be more likely to stay more often.

Site 64 gravel pull thru (when entering but we had to Koa Sussex Site 64 gravel pull thru (when entering but we had to back out, which would have been a problem if the site behind us was occupied). Uphill slope but level if you leave the rv toward the rear of the site. Our site was very long and narrow with beautiful thick grass, a fire pit & picnic table. Super friendly helpful staff Drive in movie theatre on site - there were 2 rows of sites between our site and the movie parking lot. back out, which would have been a problem if the site behind us was occupied). Best campground ever! Have been coming since I was a little one and now I get to enjoy bringing my son. So great for everyone and lots of trails for biking and walking down to a beautiful area on the Kennebecasis River.
