WE LOVE THE SUSSEX KOA WE STAYED IN CABIN 311 , THIS TIME WE HAVE STAYED INCABIN 312 A FEW TIMES BEFORE , THIS TIME I THINK BECAUSE THE WAY THE WIND WAS BLOWING WE HAD SMOKE IN OUR CABIN FROM THE BONFIRE SO WE HAD TO PUT IT OUT , AND AIR THE CABIN OUT BUT IT SEEM TO HANG AROUND FOR QUITE AWHILE WHICH CAUSED OUR GRANDSON WHO HAS LUNG ISSUSES TO TAKE A N ATTACK AND HADTO TAKE PUFFERS ,

They prevent us from parking a car next to the cabin. So We had to drop the many packs over the fence and take the all over the fence away. So hard and unhappy!

Stayed at the camping cabin they would not let us pull are vehicle on the grass because they have no road going to the cabins. we had to park on the entrance road temporally to unpack our belongings there was also a fence to deal with crawling thru ,throwing items over then park are vehicle in visitor parking for the night. The ground was hard enough to drive on from a previous rain it was justwet

Would NOT recommend. Trains honk and run through at 1:50 am, 3:05 am, etc…good luck getting sleep. Not being able to pull the car up to the cabin was ridiculous - unloading our camping gear through the wooden fence behind the cabin was comical. The lone toilet/bathroom available for women had a broken toilet seat and was not functioning. Cabin advertised was not even large enough for us all. Wow

We stayed in the cabins. The door was a big issue. Having to lock it and share a key was frustrating as we all come and go at different times. Also the door could use a screen option when staying in for a bit. It was very clean and the fridge was a great size!! Overall a great time

We had a cabin, which worked out well but became it had been wet, had to unload at the fence and then park in visitor parking, which was ok but they didn’t give us a gate key so we felt a little left out of the campground and couldn’t drive to the laundry or the pool. The stay was great as always but I did hear from a fellow camper that they were asked not to drink by the pool and it wasn’t even alcohol. That doesn’t fly with me but other than that. The stay was awesome as always!

The cabin was cute and clean. The pools were in great shape. Campgrounds were clean. I didn’t appreciate having to park away from the cabin. The inconvenience could have been compensated somehow, even if it was to waive the early check in fee.

We had a lovely time. It was too bad our deck swing was broken but when I let them know as we were checking out, I saw that they were working on replacing it. It also would have been nice to know that the main pool was broken. Staff were very friendly and the jumping pillow was a huge hit (though the information on the “hours open” sign were incorrect).

Stayed in cabin. No air circulation due to only one window. No exterior light of the cabin. Swing was broken at cabin. Also could not park at out cabin.

Had a great stay in one of the camping cabins! Was very cozy, but enough room for 2 people. Bring a fan as the cabins get extremely hot. My only complaint is how muddy it was around the cabin, but after weeks of rain it can’t be helped. It was actually nice to walk around barefoot in the mud :) Another suggestion is adding adults only swim time slots to the pool. 4/5 stars!

We came into the cabin with ALOT of red ants crawling all over the beds.. someone did quickly come spray down the cabin which was good. There was recently a lot of rain, our fire pit was completely swamped with water but none of the others were in our area so it must have been the location. so we couldn’t have a fire :( which was disappointing. Great pools and playground for the kids though.

4 empty cabin and you put us in the one that we were waking through water and mud. That lower end for tenting and the cabins is terrible every time it rain. Cabin 310 needs proper drainage and needs fill so the water won't pool around the cabin. Other than that,we always enoyed our stay there. Unless you book us into the one of the 2 cabins closest the office, I will not go camping there .

This was our first experience at a Canadian KOA. The Kamping Kabin was clean and comfortable. The only thing we missed was a small table. It was very rainy during our brief stay so we couldn't eat outside. We had to put our plates on the bed as we ate dinner.

The camping cabins aren't like the camping cabins at other KOA's, however they do have all the amenities you'd expect in them. The doors don't seal well though, so bugs were coming in, plus we worried about our dog escaping and not being secure inside during the night. We liked where the cabins were located, further away from all the pull-through trailers and the playground, so it was more quiet.

Cabin door had a inch gap all the way around it. It rained the whole time so we had no way to really stay warm with door open. Cabins right next to main entrance very noisy and unsafe for pets or children.

Great stay, very clean and well appointed campground. Helpful recommendation would be that the cabin doors need weather stripping to keep out mosquitoes because there were mosquitoes coming in. The door lock did not allow for a tight seal.

Overnight in cabin , very hot, could not run fan all night due to fact all lights where on one switch. I know it’s rustic cabin !! But summers can be hot in Canada!!

Le terrain de camping est beau. Il a un manque de personnel, lors de notre départ vers 10h00, il avait personne à la réception, la réception était fermée. À notre arrivé, le ménage n’avait pas été fait dans notre cabine, il avait beaucoup de poils de chien. J’étais surprise car j’ai été dans beaucoup de KOA et la propreté était toujours très bonne.

Site 64 gravel pull thru (when entering but we had to Koa Sussex Site 64 gravel pull thru (when entering but we had to back out, which would have been a problem if the site behind us was occupied). Uphill slope but level if you leave the rv toward the rear of the site. Our site was very long and narrow with beautiful thick grass, a fire pit & picnic table. Super friendly helpful staff Drive in movie theatre on site - there were 2 rows of sites between our site and the movie parking lot. back out, which would have been a problem if the site behind us was occupied). Best campground ever! Have been coming since I was a little one and now I get to enjoy bringing my son. So great for everyone and lots of trails for biking and walking down to a beautiful area on the Kennebecasis River.
