We were generally happy with this KOA. Grounds were well kept. Restrooms were clean, and up to date. My only disappointment was I had to cancel an upcoming visit due unforseen circumstances at home. I gave notice 6 days when apparently it had to be 7 days. Lost my whole deposit. Had to do the same at another KOA, and got my whole deposit back. Disappointed with Sussex!!

Good ammenities in campground, close to town however very pricy. Prices went up over the weekend even if you didn't go to the concert. Some pull-thru sites need leveling so you can pull- thru without risers for the price.

This campground showed us why it had won the President’s Award: excellent staff and maintenance crew choice of activities and nice amenities for the entire family (was particularly impressed by Christmas in July decorations and hay ride with Santa and elves!), drive-in theatre was unique, pastoral setting made a most pleasant visual background, owner was very helpful and friendly with rv care…

We had a wonderful stay. I rented two cabins and a tent site. park nice, two pools, showers are very clean. Wonderful activities for Christmas in July. Sadly some of the employees are rude. My friend came over. Parked in visitors parking. The staff member came to tell us she needs to register now.... I invited her she owns a camper looking for seasonal spot. OK strick rud

A lot of people and campers at this site but it was still quiet and relaxing and easy access to the bath house, swimming pool, there are at least two. East access to gas and groceries too. We could hear the drive in movie but it was too loud. A great place to stay and explore the area.

People were nice but only stayed one night of our 2 because the cabin was right at the main entrance, not very quiet, also was disappointed that their debit has a min of 10 dollars so for 2 bags of ice it cost us 10.25. If you are ok with lots of noise you will be ok.

Very poor service overall for a KOA only 1 hour of free wifi than had to pay. All other KOA’s had free wifi. Could only have 1 Veh. On our site even though there was room for 2 more. I had to walk 3/4 of a km the the garbage not the best for someone with mobility issues

We drove 7 hrs to get to this KOA to be next to the road & train tracks. SO LOUD. We changed our stay to 2 nights instead of 3 - 2 weeks before. We let the owners know so they could book it out since it was the weekend of a huge concert. We found out they charged us three nights but also booked our site out on the 3rd night without a refund. They also did a sound check after 10pm. Brutal stay.

It was NOT obvious that I was booking during the music festival. This is a major failure; there should be a web confirmation or phone call that confirms that the music fest experience is what your guests are looking for. music was very loud until 11:30pm, and we had to drive our 2 year old home to sleep (2 hrs away). Front desk was rude when I politely offered feedback.Campground/pools very nice.

Nice spot but for that price expected to have a reasonably level site. Trains going by constantly honking horns were a little annoying.

Got a cabin a mile back in the woods , no power no washrooms and no water . I was afraid to sit at the picnic table I paid a lot of money 170.00 plus tax a night for nothing . These cabins should be named something a little different so people know what they are getting . Very disappointed won’t be back

Ive been several times This time was my first in the Natural section. OFF GRID cabin. The cabin beautiful, the location is very nice. A bite far from Campground. 7 min drive. As much as I know the off grid experience. I really was disappointed in bathroom situation. And no water. No hand sanitizer and the closest bathroom is 7 min by ca Should have a OFF GRID water stat

We stayed for a festival weekend and had a great time. Only complaint is that you can only have 2 adults on one tent site when booking for a regular weekend. The site fits a huge tent but you can only have 2 adults. If this was changed I would be more likely to stay more often.

It was not good. tried writing and explaining but not enough characters. I would not recommend or make plans to stay again. I was parked beside people paying ten dollars for parking.when I payed full price. Not at all impressed.

Dbl booked sites , someone used my site and wpupdnt refund me , also so much in decent exposure at the campground it was disgusting , pukr everywhere in the bathrooms . Wpuldnt recommend this crap hole to my worst enenmy !!!

It was nice but the cabins are so hot it’s almost unbearable. Had to leave our cabin door open all night to even get a slight breeze. Otherwise it was fine.

Site 64 gravel pull thru (when entering but we had to Koa Sussex Site 64 gravel pull thru (when entering but we had to back out, which would have been a problem if the site behind us was occupied). Uphill slope but level if you leave the rv toward the rear of the site. Our site was very long and narrow with beautiful thick grass, a fire pit & picnic table. Super friendly helpful staff Drive in movie theatre on site - there were 2 rows of sites between our site and the movie parking lot. back out, which would have been a problem if the site behind us was occupied). Best campground ever! Have been coming since I was a little one and now I get to enjoy bringing my son. So great for everyone and lots of trails for biking and walking down to a beautiful area on the Kennebecasis River.
