The 50 amp pull through lot did not have the receptacle compatible with my RV plug. I was forced to buy one at the front office. It seems to be a very common complaint/occurrence as they had a huge box displayed with what seemed like 25 or so of these plug adapters. A blatant money grab in my mind as every other camp site I have been to have both plugs available. Also no doogie doo bag dispensers?

This was our first experience at a Canadian KOA. The Kamping Kabin was clean and comfortable. The only thing we missed was a small table. It was very rainy during our brief stay so we couldn't eat outside. We had to put our plates on the bed as we ate dinner.

We had very narrow roadways to get trailer into site, no one guides you to find site plus no WiFi at site to check email

Lovely campsite, great staff! Would have been nice to have had hot water for doing dishes though. Was so excited to go to my first drive-in theater ever!

The camping cabins aren't like the camping cabins at other KOA's, however they do have all the amenities you'd expect in them. The doors don't seal well though, so bugs were coming in, plus we worried about our dog escaping and not being secure inside during the night. We liked where the cabins were located, further away from all the pull-through trailers and the playground, so it was more quiet.

Nice grounds, pleasant staff. Did laundry at FACILITY and the center washer did not wrong out the clothes. Don’t use it! Was reported to office staff.

the grounds were not in the condition that I'm used to finding at KOA properties. However, the washrooms were clean and electrical/water service was fine.

Everything was up to KOA's high standards with minor exception of a toilet that malfunctioned. Very nice welcome by young staff.

Kampgound is well maintained and very clean. Check-in service was fantastic along with an escort to our site. We rode the 22 km Hub trail on our bikes and toured the locks and downtown. Lovely city.

We have found this KOA to be the best one yet for a number of reasons and here are the top 3. Firstly, we had never until now, seen a campground with so much to offer to all demographics. 2nd, the trails, nearby river, deer and bald eagles we saw were incredible. And 3rd, the owner personally made wonderful trip recommendations to us which became the highlight of our maritime holiday. The best!

This Campground does not meet the usual standards we have come to expect at KOA. Grounds appear rough in many places, roads are tripping hazards in many places. Apparently seasonals are #1; overnighters aren't important. No services whatsoever. Pay for wifi, no garbage pick up and staff were, for the most part, cordial at best, but the new playground - beautiful for $30-40,000 investment. A shame.

We were in a site that was not up to standard for this campground. We were parked in mud all weekend which now creates extra cleaning in my trailer. Very unhappy with the campground putting us in this lot when they had multiple lots around us available all weekend. Told us no other available sites. This could have been avoided but the staff didn’t seem to care about us having a good experience.

Cabin door had a inch gap all the way around it. It rained the whole time so we had no way to really stay warm with door open. Cabins right next to main entrance very noisy and unsafe for pets or children.

Very nice park. Mostly seasonal. Have to pay for WiFi? Why? Also, need to cut tree down at end of site 63. It serves no purpose and makes getting large rig out Of site.

Very disappointed, put in the wrong campsite, #61 was for 50 Amp I have only 30 Amp. Was very cold that night. The office was closed and no one to help until next day. At 10:30 am someone finally came and had me moved to another site #36 to charge things. I would appreciate a refund of $91.94 Wendy Calver

Rude staff, no pull through apparently (according to staff), but when we pulled in to our site (#42), we were looking at 4 sites right in front of us, 2 were in use. Garbage containers were very scarce. Also an older lady (handicap) stayed in site in front of us, she went through the night with no power, no staff available to assist her. Worst KOA I have stayed at.

Nice accessibility to downtown Halifax. Staff friendly and helpful. Laundry equipment good and reasonable; Restrooms clean. There is limited space for many activities near entrance (general store, bikes, laundry, restroom set etc,resulting in a busy entrance. Several construction / landscaping projects in progress. Would stay again for location and staff.

Campsite should be leveled more. The wifi situation was horrible. At the rate you charge, wifi should be included. Most likely will not be returning.

First we ask for a quiet area and they put us just in front of the jumping pillow and we were not aware that there is a train track just in the back of the campground the only reason I put 2 star is for the drive in that was to be expensive by the way . I will put 1 star if it as not of the drive in very disappointing for a KOA campground

Nice, neat campground. Lots of seasonal sites but in a separate location. Long pull through however needed to switch sites due to incline impacting hook up. Gave us a better site, No problem. Would come back.

Site 64 gravel pull thru (when entering but we had to Koa Sussex Site 64 gravel pull thru (when entering but we had to back out, which would have been a problem if the site behind us was occupied). Uphill slope but level if you leave the rv toward the rear of the site. Our site was very long and narrow with beautiful thick grass, a fire pit & picnic table. Super friendly helpful staff Drive in movie theatre on site - there were 2 rows of sites between our site and the movie parking lot. back out, which would have been a problem if the site behind us was occupied). Best campground ever! Have been coming since I was a little one and now I get to enjoy bringing my son. So great for everyone and lots of trails for biking and walking down to a beautiful area on the Kennebecasis River.
