Upon booking via telephone (1-2 months prior to our stay, and via telephone because the site wasn't working properly), we were given our site number 56 which we were happy with because we had been seasonal before and had been on that particular site, so we were familiar with it and knew it was high. Upon arrival they had given our site to someone else,and we ended up in a rain filled sloppy site.

Stayed only one night. Nice large campground but. It is the most expensive campground we ever encounter for a rather basic standard 3 service site that had a shared pedestal and WI-FI is not included, rate was $8 per device per day. Will never reserve again and will never recommend to any other fellow camper.

We were in a pull through site, #64, which was adequate for our stay. It could have been more level and pulling out was a little tricky but we did it without any problems.

nice, clean, large grassed sites. friendly staff, relaxing quiet stay. Only disappointment is the large pool was closed while we were there.

We had a lovely time. It was too bad our deck swing was broken but when I let them know as we were checking out, I saw that they were working on replacing it. It also would have been nice to know that the main pool was broken. Staff were very friendly and the jumping pillow was a huge hit (though the information on the “hours open” sign were incorrect).

One-night stay on way back home. Site was easy to find, level, and staff there was super-friendly. We loved that there was a drive-in theater connected with the campground - had it not rained and had we not been so tired from driving, we would have loved to have gone over and enjoyed it.

Short stay of 2 days, nice park, excellent facilities, washrooms and showers very clean. My only issue would be that we were charged 15 bucks for arriving early, 5 bucks and hour for 3 hours. You can never judge traffic between stayovers and we happened to have an uneventful drive, hence our early arrival. It's not a deal breaker and we would return to KOA again. Mike and Lisa Chaplin

We arrived late. The site wasn’t big enough for our trailer and it took us a while to find. The people camping down there advised us not to camp there because the cars were stuck in the mud and also fell into fire pits. We ended up at a hotel after being told to park in the gravel visitor lot. Terrible experience.

It was fun, kids liked it. Only down side one pool was closed due to maintenance and the other pool was packed. But it’s a nice place. Will definitely be back

Office was closed when we got there at 8pm. We were put in a field that had been cut in the past couple of days and there was long, cut grass everywhere. Not good for allergies. Place seemed ok, but probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Not a lot to do, one pool closed, sewer drain was not working. Boring campground. Pay extra for Drive-In. Drive in was expensive.

This KOA was the most disorganized campground I’ve been to. I didn’t get the site I booked, and campers were packed in so tight, that our neighbours trailer was less than a foot away from mine.

Our site was beautiful and clean and comfortable. I found the organization to be cheap and nickle and dimey. A lot of things changed since we were last here for the worse. Large pool inaccessible and we were not informed prior to setting up. To come early and pay extra seems ridiculous when there are multiple sites available . And to pay $8 for oee device for wifi. Visitors pay $4/person.

Poorly kept. The pool liner was coming apart so had huge bubbles in it…the grass was not cut, we were camped in a bunch of weeds. Had to pay extra for wifi per device, that should never happen, it’s usually free

Sites are narrow due to bushy trees bordering them and the driving lanes are narrow also. Difficult to maneuver a modern trailer. The drive in movie was great.

Great time. Very clean campsite. Outbuildings are in great shape. Pools were clean. Would like to see the store open in the evenings and more activities throughout the week :)

This is the only KOA without free wifi. Otherwise it was a nice stay. The movie theater nearby is a nice plus

Had a great stay. However, disappointed how early the office closes(7pm). Hard to find ice and firewood after 7pm. Also surprised pool only opens at 11am. Check out is at 11am. No opportunity for a morning swim before leaving. Also firewood purchased was very wet and large uncut pieces. Staff was friendly.

Convenient...... although we went out to eat and someone took our site..... it was late so we mixed to another but it only had 50amp... and the 110 volt outlet was broke. No biggie....

We were first assigned to a very muddy site and had to go back to the desk to request a different site. As well, 2 nights into our stay a staff member suddenly needed to check to be sure that our tent pegs were not too close to the water line. Very bizarre. On Saturday there were 2 drunk guys walking all around the park with their alcohol on full display and no staff member approached them.

Very disappointed that nothing opens before 11am. We camp at lots of different campgrounds and have never had such disappointed children in the morning. My 4yr old sat outside the jumping pillow for hours watching it blow up and sit there, unusable because it was closed until we had to check out. Normally I would have no complaints and rate a 5 star but this past weekend was the worse experience we’ve had there. Friday night just after midnight the transport truck directly behind our tent site ran for 3-4 hours. Then Saturday night just after midnight the truck turned on again. Security patrols the area to ask people to be quiet but couldn’t address this?? Very disappointed with this!

Stayed in cabin. No air circulation due to only one window. No exterior light of the cabin. Swing was broken at cabin. Also could not park at out cabin.

Had a great stay in one of the camping cabins! Was very cozy, but enough room for 2 people. Bring a fan as the cabins get extremely hot. My only complaint is how muddy it was around the cabin, but after weeks of rain it can’t be helped. It was actually nice to walk around barefoot in the mud :) Another suggestion is adding adults only swim time slots to the pool. 4/5 stars!

We came into the cabin with ALOT of red ants crawling all over the beds.. someone did quickly come spray down the cabin which was good. There was recently a lot of rain, our fire pit was completely swamped with water but none of the others were in our area so it must have been the location. so we couldn’t have a fire :( which was disappointing. Great pools and playground for the kids though.

This KOA was ok but not as nice as expected. Also, it paled in comparison to the Quebec City Holiday KOA we had just come from. The main pool liner needs replacement and the infant wading pool was out of service. Friendly service but overall a bit run down.

4 empty cabin and you put us in the one that we were waking through water and mud. That lower end for tenting and the cabins is terrible every time it rain. Cabin 310 needs proper drainage and needs fill so the water won't pool around the cabin. Other than that,we always enoyed our stay there. Unless you book us into the one of the 2 cabins closest the office, I will not go camping there .

They say the lots are level but there not. It's so muddy we almost got stuck 3-4 times. We tried to level our moterhome and it just keep sinking into the ground. It might be good for tenting but don't recommend if your a bigger unit.

The grounds were not kept up. Had to pay extra $10 for arriving earlier than 3pm check-in time, each of us had to pay $8 for spotty wifi, and campsites were tight.

Sussex KOA was a good choice as a central location from which we could access all the Maritimes. Check-in staff was friendly and efficient both times we stayed. Grounds and structures were well maintained and, with few exceptions, the full time rigs were not off-putting although we definitely prefer RV parks where semi-full time sites are not the norm. We'll be back and Thank You!.

Site 64 gravel pull thru (when entering but we had to Koa Sussex Site 64 gravel pull thru (when entering but we had to back out, which would have been a problem if the site behind us was occupied). Uphill slope but level if you leave the rv toward the rear of the site. Our site was very long and narrow with beautiful thick grass, a fire pit & picnic table. Super friendly helpful staff Drive in movie theatre on site - there were 2 rows of sites between our site and the movie parking lot. back out, which would have been a problem if the site behind us was occupied). Best campground ever! Have been coming since I was a little one and now I get to enjoy bringing my son. So great for everyone and lots of trails for biking and walking down to a beautiful area on the Kennebecasis River.
