This KOA provided the absolute minimum we expect from a KOA stay. So, yes, the bathrooms are clean and the front desk staff are friendly and helpful. However, there isn’t much else to add. Bel accueil mais le camping est davantage un camping de saisonnier. Les poubelles sont loin pour les sites voyageurs. Les sites sont en pente. Difficile de mettre notre caravane de niveau. Il y a un train qui siffle dans la nuit.

We stayed in the cabins. The door was a big issue. Having to lock it and share a key was frustrating as we all come and go at different times. Also the door could use a screen option when staying in for a bit. It was very clean and the fridge was a great size!! Overall a great time

When we got to our site we were shocked at how small the sites were. There was hardly no parking for us to leave our vehicles. The fire pits were way to close to for our comfort maybe 6 feet away from our tent , where we were renting you were supposed to drive threw one way to exit and when it was packed on the weekend there was no way to get out it’s like we were trapped. I wouldn’t go back.

Had a great time, couldn't give 5 stars due to the quality of the firewood. If the rule is no outside firewood, then at least sell something that actually burns rather than something that only smolders and gives off zero heat.

Environment and attitude in the office was quite negative. Everyone that went to the office from our group and campers near had the same experience. Young girls running the office have no personality nor customer service skills and made you feel like you were a burden if you popped in with a question. Bathrooms were clean, wood was too wet to burn

This KOA is a substandard KOA property. KOA hurts its "brand" to offer a facility like this. Units too close; hookups strange. Just a bunch of RVs piled in next to each other. Compare this property with the one at West Halifax. You'll get my point.

Had an extra long pull thru site, perfect for a one night stop. A huge part of campground is full of seasonals. Walking to the river is quite a ways but well marked and well worth it. The primitive cabins and tent sites are beautiful with the river and big shady trees. Campground is well kept and very easy off highway. Close to lovely town with 27 must see murals.

We found Sussex KOA to be nice overall. We did not like not having free wi-fi. If you have several computers, cell phones, televisions, etc, at $8 for each item, that adds up. No cable either. Also, there were only 2 operating washers & 2 dryers that made it very inconvenient.

Large mowed campground with lots to do. Good location. Smelled of sewage from past issues on sites. Had to buy an electrical extension cord at local RV dealer b/c outlet was located on site behind us & was too far to reach without running over the fence or sewage pipe. Had to buy extra jack pads b/c the site was not level. Suggest more restrooms/showers & get rid of problem sewage sites.

This campground is overwhelmed with seasonals. It's a very large campground but they only have one shower facility with 2 showers. They have lots for the kids but my biggest dislike was the stench of sewer every day, I couldn't stay out beside my campfire because of it. I was concerned by the midnight quiet hr but I had no issues. I had no forewarning Site 249 is a steep angle to back up into.

It smelled like septic the whole time. We found it quite pricey considering you still have to use their wood which is $10 for tiny bundles, and it costs to use wifi. We weren't far from a decent bathroom but it was locked with no one in it most of the time, they should probably figure out a better system for that. The pools were good and our sites were a good size.

my first stay at a campground, nice and easy. Not that I went there to use wifi but the price is a bit ridiculous. maybe it is like that every campground. nice place everything in great condition.

Unfortunately we were only there overnight on our way to PEI but we were impressed with the park. It was clean and well laid out. Staff attention to our arriving there after hours was great.

It was nice. The campground is kept up very well. We purchased firewood from you, but it must’ve been green because all it did is smoke and didn’t burn very well. Kids on bicycles parents need to teach them not to cut in front of trucks while trying to back in your trailer Otherwise it was a nice

Our lot was not very level but otherwise nice and a bit bigger than many other camps we've stayed at this summer. Very nice park - loved the availability of the walking trails!

Nice campground, but our pull-through site was not very level and we had difficulty getting in and out of our site due to the close proximity of trees.

We had a cabin, which worked out well but became it had been wet, had to unload at the fence and then park in visitor parking, which was ok but they didn’t give us a gate key so we felt a little left out of the campground and couldn’t drive to the laundry or the pool. Met the owners, Don and Tina, who were great hosts. They have really improved the campground since they took over 5 years ago. Worth the trip to see a drive- in movie and walk the nature trails.

Had to pay for WI-FI , had to pay for drive in if you wanted to see it $35 which was visible to all. No showers. It is not like other KOA camps. But functional for 1 night

The stay was great as always but I did hear from a fellow camper that they were asked not to drink by the pool and it wasn’t even alcohol. That doesn’t fly with me but other than that. The stay was awesome as always!

Site was not at all level side to side. Site sewer hookup was uphill from site and thus unusable. Dump station inlet was higher than motorhome outlet and was difficult to use. washrooms we’re very clean.

Enjoyed our stay. However, my partner commented that the toilets would benefit from having grab handles to assist the less mobile to get up off the toilet. My partner is having a hip replacement in 2 weeks time and had difficulty in this area!

Wonderful family oriented camp ground. If I had to give a negative was that the fire pits are to low in the ground and it made it hard to keep a fire going, other than that we had a wonderful time and will be staying again!!

The campground staff were very friendly, and the campground property was clean and aesthetically pleasing. We did find the campground crowded, which is not uncommon however, for most KOA. Activities were fun, though a list of events would have been handy prior to the trip as it was Christmas in July and knowing to bring decorations and a small gift for the kids would have helped.

Site and service was OK. However we had strong odeurs from the septique system during our 3 days there and had to leave the site regularly to get a breath of fresh air. Our worst stay in the maritimes. Ron Paradis

Our site slope was too steep and the grass was not mowed when some of the other larger sites were mowed otherwise it was a good experience.

The people at the front office were outstanding. They were friendly, kind, patient, and helpful. The site was great. We do appreciate all that you have done to improve the campground. I only have one little recommendation. Please put a different doorknob on the two bathrooms down by the 240s. The ladies room was locked over 50% of the time because the locks are tricky. No one's fault.

-Seamless booking and check in experience -Clean lot, plenty of attractions for the kids -Kids splash pad was nice but staff rudely shouted that our three year old had to stop pushing the sprinkler button and wait two minutes between. I suggest a different and friendly approach or relocate the button to an adult height + add instructions sign.
