Staff not trained to check in ppl. Cabin floor disgustingly dirty. Security great except had friends in a trailer site who visited for a fire told can’t have more then two cars. They rode up because the place is so dark and the gravel roads are so slippery did not want to fall. When explained Dale okayed. Happened again the next night someone else said can’t do it .

Thanks for your feedback! Our beautiful, rustic campground is tucked away on 46 wooded acres so it is dark at night. The Fire Marshal limits each site to 2 vehicles. No staff member can override this rule. We’ll work on clearer communication and cleaner cabins. Thank you!

I understand that everything is going up in price but the expectation for us to clean up after ourselves when we check out I get but I feel that at least and hand towel for both the bathroom and the kitchen area would be nice and a sponge to at least do the dishes. I do appreciate the tall broom versus the short ones in the big cabins that at least helps.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin for two nights. Our site was very nice. I liked the patio with the fire pit. Any staff members that I spoke to were very nice and helpful. Because of the weather, most activities got cancelled but we still had fun. Would've liked to use the pool, as it was hot out Sat. We did use the boats and even caught a fish! Enjoyed Visiting nearby Butternut Farm.

First when we arrived on Friday, no activity sheet was ready. Then we heard activities Then on Saturday we finally got a sheet and then they changed bingo time because of the rain and we only found out thru a friend or we would of missed it. Then the guy rushed thru the bingo and did not get tables for people who showed up.

We always enjoy our stay! The only complaint we had was that the bathrooms that were directly behind our glamping tent at site 16 seemed to never have been cleaned throughout our three night stay. Love the view at #16. All employees were lovely!

First time in years that I (grandma) and my kids, their spouses and grandkids have spent time all together. WE ALL LOVED IT!!! T was so kind and Lydia at the front desk was kind, fun and energetic. We used most of the fun things to do, playground, swimming, splash pad, all the boats and the rock mining. We will be back again soon. We like rules, everyone was fun to be around. See you again!

Our clamping tent overlooked a background of discarded trash. We went to enjoy nature and seeing that everytime we sat outside was unpleasant. Additionally changing to winter hours mid stay without notice was a challenge as well.

The stay was very nice, but there was a really strong odor and taste in the water to our cabin (150).

Wasn’t a fan of having to lift a mattress and wood to get our linens. Taking a shower was scary as there are no mats in the tub to prevent slipping it was very slippery , broken blind in the living area , ceiling fan was filthy so we shut it off so the dirt wouldn’t fly on us while sleeping. List goes on but not enough space but totally disappointed. Supposedly a deluxe cabin never again

Our family enjoyed the area and campground. All of the amenities and offerings were great. Our one criticism which affected our trip was the septic that was coming from the ground at the vacant site next to us. The smell was foul and prohibited our kids from playing in the area

Pool was advertised as heated with adjacent waterslide. Waterslide was closed and pool heater has been broken for a year. We had an unhappy autistic grandchild. Rented deluxe cabin (151) poor design smoke alarm across from stove, went off every time used. Filled out waivers online for check in but had to sign again, office had no way to access them. Wasted time. Staff rate 5, but understaffed.

We had a wonderful stay, however, one of our beds fell off the bed frame and we couldn’t get it back on. I let the office know twice and asked for someone to come help. I was assured that someone would be there and no one ever came resulting in sleeping on a sideways bed for two nights. Aside from that hiccup, the staff was friendly and we enjoyed our stay!

The cabin was nice. However the kitchen did lack quite a few utensils. There are no hooks to hang up towels. The staff was great..and very friendly.

cabin cleanliess was not great. on the last two occasions we stayed there, we found items left behind from the previous stay, small toys under the bed, blueberries next to the fridge etc....so whoever is cleaning is not doing a thourough job.

This was the 2nd time we’ve stayed there that the slide has been down. Little disappointed. I went into the office to buy a sweatshirt and a particular staff member didn’t acknowledge me. Great stay, only suggestion would be to include towels and bedding in cabin stays. A mat for the shower is highly needed for the bathroom as well. Otherwise a great cute campground.

This is our 5th summer at KOA. Our cabin was VERY dirty. The floors were filthy, dog hair everywhere. And we were very disappointed that the water slide was down- wish we knew ahead of time.

There were approx 25 of us that stayed here for a family reunion camping weekend-in rental cabins, in trailers, in tents. Campground was clean, sites were very big (which is not the norm in most KOA's we've been to) and staff very helpful. Only complaint candy bar bingo ended about 5:30 then DJ was at 6 so not much time to fit in dinner. We rebooked for next year and hope they move DJ to 7 pm.

The staff this year was exceptional. Always had a smile when dealing with campers. My grandchildren and I thoroughly enjoyed the glamping. I have one minor suggestion. It would be very helpful if pegs, or a shelf were put up in the bathroom.

Our stay was good. Kids were very disappointed the big slide wasn't working for the whole week as that was a big part of selecting this location. A couple times the public bathrooms were out of toilet paper, staff should be monitoring a bit more closely. Overall good stay, may try the location again.

My kids, friends and I had a wonderful stay. All of the employees were friendly. The only downfall was the water smelled like poop for the first night of our stay and it wasn’t until the next day in the late afternoon that the maintenance guys came and flushed our system. The guys were great and helpful!

Awful service. I could never find a staff memeber and if I could they were smoking cigarettes

Our office is the best place to find a team member so you don't have to go looking. We also have a 24/7 phone number posted throughout the camp and on paperwork. Staff breaks happen in a designated area not accessible to guests. When you find a team member here, they are not available to assist.

Stayed in a cabin. Clean and reasonably priced. Only complaint is the price of wood for a campfire. While I respect the rule of not bringing in wood from the outside, I believe that $8 for five or six pieces of wood that burns within 15 minutes is a bit crazy. Most families like the experience of having a campfire and having fun playing games, chatting, and making s’mores. Lower wood price!

Had to cut our stay short, but up until we left we found that the campground was well balanced and staff attentive and responsive, espcially liked the frequent trash cans thru out and that staff were working on things mentioned in previous reviews

The management and owner of this location are very rude and they don’t care about the people that are staying there. All they want is money.. I was misinformed about their rules about my dog and they did not want to compromise AT ALL.. I asked for a small refund and I got the run around.. never again will I stay at any koa campground and I will never recommend strafford. Don’t spend the money.

Cabin we rented was very clean and modern. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with sulfur smelling water and staff chlorinated the system in the cabin and fixed it immediately. They get 4 out of 5 stars because water slide was down, splash pad is very slippery and pond is very weedy which could be a gem with some aquatic weed treatments. Still would 100% go back!

I am a person whom likes to swim. With that said I was not able to swim in the Pond. It has too many Lilly Pads and the roots. Also it is not deep enough. We did have a skunk in a "Glamp Tent" that keep me up every night even that we got it out. The waterslide was not working the kids very very disappointed. Huge waterslide, waterpad and sprinkler toys for the youngings beautiful campsites and they do alot of activities throughout the day unlike lebanon koa I literally have daily events weekdays and weekends it's a very small campground but if you're looking for quiet and peaceful and not a lot of kids this is the KOA to go to.
