Our stay was good. Kids were very disappointed the big slide wasn't working for the whole week as that was a big part of selecting this location. A couple times the public bathrooms were out of toilet paper, staff should be monitoring a bit more closely. Overall good stay, may try the location again.

Nice big sites, and a nice water park; but, customer service is lacking. Unlikely that we would return to this KOA.

We had an amazing time at the Strafford/Lake Winnipesaukee KOA! The sites were large & shaded beautifully where we were in camp. The bathrooms were clean. Our kids loved the pool and splash pad. The staff was all friendly & helpful. Fishing was perfect as that is all our son wanted to do. He caught an abundance of fish! We will definitely return and next time stay longer! Beautiful campground!

Liked this campground, pretty well kept, some sites could be better leveled / graded. That is my biggest fault I find is campgrounds that don’t make the site easier too level the RV. Easy to fix, not ROCKET SCIENCE.

Had a good time. I would suggest you change the name from Lake Winnepesaukee to just strafford. You are nowhere close to the Lake and it is misleading.

My kids, friends and I had a wonderful stay. All of the employees were friendly. The only downfall was the water smelled like poop for the first night of our stay and it wasn’t until the next day in the late afternoon that the maintenance guys came and flushed our system. The guys were great and helpful!

Overall, the stay was great—especially thanks to the engaging and supportive staff running the kids' activities. However, there were a few disappointments: the slide was out of order, firewood ordered at 10 a.m. didn’t arrive until after 4 p.m., and the $30 per-night “lock-in fee” felt steep compared to typical flat rates elsewhere. Stay was good, however water quality in the cabin was poor, hot water were with rotten smell.

We come here for the waterside it was broken with no clue when it will be repaired. Day 2 the pool had issues and wasn't up and running until around 1:30 in the afternoon on a 90+ degree day. Most of the arcade games are out of order. The activities director was fine. Nice playground and campsite. I think maybe koa needs to start replacing old equipment. Other than that my we had fun

Ha. Im weird anyway but for four days i never once had to go into the office or anything. One phone call to ask for 2 extra days if same spot open. It was shaded by huge pine trees and bushes. Just needed a break fromj all people u guess. Took my trash out, couple of local market stores i hit and chilled with some cold brewskies. No one bothered me.

Very quiet which was very nice lots to do, but gravel sites very much in need of some work when it rained the site became very muddy

Disappointed. Pool was not clean, water was cloudy. We stayed for 1 week and the water slide was not in operation the entire time. Half the games in the game room were out of order.

The site was supposed to be gravel - it was dirt -I paid for a patio site because I wanted a clean space to reorganize. I couldn't do that here. My space smelled so bad I had to use the main sewer dump. The 'dog park' (smallest I have ever seen) was so gross and full of poop my dog didn't want to be there. Don't go

Awful service. I could never find a staff memeber and if I could they were smoking cigarettes

Our office is the best place to find a team member so you don't have to go looking. We also have a 24/7 phone number posted throughout the camp and on paperwork. Staff breaks happen in a designated area not accessible to guests. When you find a team member here, they are not available to assist.

Local staff very nice, but one of the middle aged ,out of state male“ work campers” was extremely rude and an actual bully. Two occurrences witnessed back to back, that tells you something right there. Campground itself had good and bad areas…. Dust and mud, dead hazardous branches, you sign your life away with wavers. Rediculous resort amenities fee, JOKE for nothing different from other KO

Site were very clean but the couple of times I used the men’s rooms they weren’t very clean and things were broken/out of order. Also the big slide at the pool sounds like it’s been broken for a while. The dog park could use a little sprucing and the wood, which we had dropped off at our site had very large black ants in them, which I then found two in my camper.

Les toilettes ne sont pas vraiment propre, l’eau de la piscine était très floue aussi… pour 150$ canadien par nuit je m’attendais à plus de propreté. La grosse glissade était aussi hors service. Point positif: le parc est super beau !

Stayed in a cabin. Clean and reasonably priced. Only complaint is the price of wood for a campfire. While I respect the rule of not bringing in wood from the outside, I believe that $8 for five or six pieces of wood that burns within 15 minutes is a bit crazy. Most families like the experience of having a campfire and having fun playing games, chatting, and making s’mores. Lower wood price!

Had to cut our stay short, but up until we left we found that the campground was well balanced and staff attentive and responsive, espcially liked the frequent trash cans thru out and that staff were working on things mentioned in previous reviews

The staff was great, but the place is run down. We stayed there because they had a water slide and splash area along with the pool. The splash area was really just good enough for littles and the slide was out of commission and looks unlikely to return. My grandchildren have a pool at home so only having a pool was a big whoop. We won't be back unless they fix the slide and worn-out stuff.

Not being able to use your own firewood was my biggest concern.

Thanks for sharing your concern. We totally get the convenience of bringing your own firewood, but using only approved firewood helps protect our trees and natural spaces from invasive pests and diseases. It's a small step that makes a big difference. Stay grounded and keep it campy!

The management and owner of this location are very rude and they don’t care about the people that are staying there. All they want is money.. I was misinformed about their rules about my dog and they did not want to compromise AT ALL.. I asked for a small refund and I got the run around.. never again will I stay at any koa campground and I will never recommend strafford. Don’t spend the money.

Summer storm created river through the primarily dirt site. 4 pages of rules to sign that should be online BEFORE booking, but looks like a fun place for kids with lots to do. Very scenic.

What a great place to stay. Our trash was picked up promptly. We had an issue with a tree branch and the staff was right there to take care of it The best part was with T and the person that did the notary. They went above and beyond their duties to accommodate us We will not hesitate to tell all our friends that they really take care of the campers that come through our hats go off to you

Cabin we rented was very clean and modern. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with sulfur smelling water and staff chlorinated the system in the cabin and fixed it immediately. They get 4 out of 5 stars because water slide was down, splash pad is very slippery and pond is very weedy which could be a gem with some aquatic weed treatments. Still would 100% go back!

Huge waterslide, waterpad and sprinkler toys for the youngings beautiful campsites and they do alot of activities throughout the day unlike lebanon koa I literally have daily events weekdays and weekends it's a very small campground but if you're looking for quiet and peaceful and not a lot of kids this is the KOA to go to.
