Part 2: Resolve to Live a Healthier Life

Resolve to Camp More

Do you know what lifestyle is a healthy one? Camp life.

Amongst the most common New Year’s resolutions Americans make is a renewed commitment to get healthy. If you’ve read our previous post then you are ready to enjoy all the ways Strafford KOA can help you be happier. Even if you skipped the resolution tradition I’m willing to bet living a healthier life is an idea you can get behind.

Name an ailment and it can be traced back to lifestyle issues such as stress, poor diet, and lack of exercise. Our day to day lives are stressful.

But, when you make a resolution to spend more time at camp you are making a commitment to your health. Want to get more exercise? Eat better? Destress and kick a vice?

Think about what a day at camp can look like: Get up early and take a walk on our mile-long nature trail. Eat a protein-packed breakfast of eggs and bacon cooked over the campfire. Join in a game of beach volleyball or take a bike ride around our wooded grounds. Head out on the pond in a paddleboat. Add an afternoon nap, a round of horseshoes with some friends, and a late-night heart to heart around the fire.

Strafford KOA makes living a healthier life simple. Each day at camp you are given the opportunity to move your body, the time to prepare healthy meals, and the space to relax.  When you commit to camp more you are opening yourself to all the opportunities of a healthy camping lifestyle.
