I’ve been a long time camper at almost over 50 koa’s and this one I wouldn’t recommend to any fellow camper l reserved a patio 38 ft spot was not told it was a buddy site I didn’t reserve a buddy site the site itself was small the sewer was out by the road never seen anything like that they are usually in the middle of the site almost had to hook 3 hoses up will not be reserving this koa a

We only stayed one night but the park is very nice; office is super nice and helpful. Bathrooms are a little dated but clean. We would definitely stay here again!

very nice place if pool heater works. grandkids would appreciate warmer water Every thing else was good, very nice staff

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Good afternoon, the pool heater does work, it was set to 86 degrees, we have since turned it down to 70 , but the heater is working great.

Other than the camper that shot off fireworks on Saturday night it was a fun place to stay - I hope that the person gets blocked from staying at koa. It took me 3 hours to calm down my nerves and my dog. We had a great time at bingo

I called and had to change our reservation and your staff were very accommodating. I like that they take you directly to your site. They found us the perfect spot. This is the 3rd time we've been here and have seen the growth in this park. Very nice. My GPS went out and a sign before your driveway would have been helpful especially coming from the north.

I normally do not do reviews, but the staff was wonderful, clean bathrooms, clean grounds, easy access to town and kid friendly. Would highly recommend!

We were right next to the highway, the road noise kept me awake for three hours after I tried to go to sleep. Huge fire works at 11, sounded like gunshots Horrible location for a tent trailer. Full sun, too loud!

The ladies at the front desk are so nice, happy and Helpful...They really made you feel welcome the second you walk in the door. The whole campground is clean and buzzing with lots of fun activities! Thanks Steamboat Crew, you all are Amazing!

Stayed here before. It is a good campground. Friendly staff, good things to do. The water was definitely brown this time around- not sure if it wasn’t treated or not (I always bring my own drinking water camping, but even with a filter there was a brown tint to the water at my site). Will likely stay here again in the fall.

I was pleasantly surprised at the amenities at this KOA. Each spot has table and chairs, 2 Adirondack chairs and a gas grill! I wish I had know, I over packed :( Bathrooms and showers were clean. Nice pool, small but delightful. and the Yampa runs right through the middle of the campground. The old section has more trees but closer to the road. The new sections has nice wide spots but no shade.

Love this KOA! Seems like we come every year, and we’ll be back for the second time this year! Very clean, spacious, and right on the edge of town. The Yampa runs right through the campground, which is an added bonus!

The campground is very conveniently located right on the Yampa River with free transportation to downtown Steamboat Springs. Very clean with lots of amenities to enjoy for all ages. The staff were very professional and helpful especially Nikii who was super helpful in locating the perfect campsite for our family's stay!

Great office staff! Lovely park. We stayed in the “new” section and thought it was great. No shade but the sites are spacious and the patio is fantastic. We would not want to be on the other side of the bridge ….just seemed tight for our coach. We would definitely stay here again.

Every employee we met was friendly. The property was clean and well maintained with plenty of activities for us to do. Our only issue is that the sites are so crammed together that we had issues getting our camper backed into our site. The sites in front of and beside us were also occupied and our site had two trees to park between.

Really nice park. Friendly and helpful staff. Loved the gift shop. Has the Yampa River flowing through the campground which is very pretty. We were in the back part of the park, a little less noisy from the road. Lots of activities going on. Uber and Lyft will pick you up here to go into downtown which was very helpful. They also have a bus and a shuttle to downtown.

Honestly thought the $5.00 dog fee was petty after booking on the internet with warning of additional fees for a dog. Otherwise the campground was fine.

Friendly staff, clean facility, new large pull thrus on the island, all pavement. Some dog enclosures being built. Our spot 98 was awesome. View of the creek when the first row was empty. Plenty of places to walk your dog! We will be back!

The Steamboat KOA is a great campground with friendly staff ready to help throughout your stay. Amenities include many patio sites with mountain views, a pool, mini-golf, pedal carts, and access to the river for fishing or launching a raft. The location offers easy access to town and many nearby activities like hiking, biking, and enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery.

CLEAN sites, across the bridge over the Yampa River the sites are cement and have bbq's, great tables and chairs, dog areas, nice cabins, kid friendly with lots of activities, nice pool, go carts, putt putt, weekend movie for the campers on outside screen, clean bathrooms, most of all attentive and friendly staff. City bus picks you up right on grounds free. Definitely, on our come back list.

The Steamboat KOA was awesome. We found the campground to be very clean and the staff were friendly and always checking on the campers to make sure things were good and to see if we needed anything. Our site was large and gave us room to enjoy our time as well as those around us. We absolutely enjoyed our time there.
